Private Party Facilities:
Red Tracton's offers two adjacent banquet rooms for your private party needs. The "Triple Crown" room is a secluded private dining area with seating up to 70, with a mixture of roomy booths and tables to accommodate most functions. Our "Starlight Terrace" patio dining room seats around 40 comfortably and offers a self-contained full bar. Both rooms can be used simultaneously for larger events.

Red Tracton's features live entertainment at the World famous "Piano Bar" Wednesday - Saturday. 7:30pm - 11:30 pm on week nights and Weekends 8:00pm till closing. Dinner is also served in the Lounge

Del Mar Race Track season starts July 16, 2008. We will be unable to except on line reservations for dinner. We will be excepting online reservation for Lunch Mon - Sun and Dinner Mon & Tue night. Thank You

Great restaurant. The service is excellent, the food delicious, and the ambiance is lively and fun. The restaurant looks like an old San Francisco restaurant with booths, steak and martinis, and a wonderful musician on the weekends who plays rock and roll and all sorts of old favorites. Great spot.

"
The only problem I had was that the waitress assuming she had done a gratuitous job wrote the tip in on my bill like I was obligated to pay that amount or as if I couldn't do the math. She was/they all, were older waitresses so I'm sure that was one of her tricks of the trade. It completely ruined the night for me and my party of nine. In fact, it was down right embarrassing and tacky to say the least. I'd NEVER put my name on a place like that to my friends.

We never miss a chance to eat here when in town. A note to the wise: Long pants are required in the dining room, and if you arrive in shorts you will be able to eat in the bar area only. Hurray for Red's! To have an enforced dress code is a blessing these days. The place is always packed and make sure you have reservations during racing season in July, since it is directly across from Del Mar Race Track.
