  • "We had an amazing experience at Red. The service was incredible. My filet ($44) melted in my mouth-- it was the best steak I have ever eaten considering I like it cooked medium well.. Typically it would be dry and tough, but it cut like butter. The lemon garlic shrimp ($19) was delicious and huge. They even brought out a special happy birthday cheesecake for my godchild. Very romantic atmosphere.. Love the glass wine vault. 5 star service, our waitress catered to us! I would love to go back again, it's expensive but worth every penny!"

  • "We are trying to hit the Miami Spice Restaurants over a 4 week period. We went to Capital Grille 2 weeks ago and the menu was incredible. But, it is not a great deal. For two people, with one glass of wine each, after tax, tip and upgrades, it is still $175.00 per couple. At Red, same price, food was Latin flavor and the paella was just ok. My filet was marinated with too much garlic but the food is typically good. Mussels were well cooked -- a tad bit sandy but the sauce was wonderful. The desserts were uneventful. Although the meal was good, for the price, I would go to Capital Grille."

  • "For me, Red will always be a go-to for their sides like the mac & cheese and Parmesan fries. Portions for food is always huge, so one side for an entire table is sufficient. Steaks are awesome, we always get the Bone-in Ribeye. Also loved the Passionfruit Creme Brulee. Loved the music, its hip and modern."

We had to ask for the menu and when we did were met with a look of disappointment and then were immediately told the steak they were offering is not what they are known for. Not an amazing experience which will definitely shape my group opinions of returning and paying regular price in the future."

  • "Although the steak was really excellent, this is the kind of place you go only once, just to have the experience. Ambiance is not so good, dark, no view, feng shui not positive, not inviting. Chairs are uncomfortable and lose (they had to change mine twice). Prices are very high unjustifiably, especially the wine which is a rip-off. Frankly, I prefer Smith and Wolensky as an overall nice dine out and better value for money."

  • "After hearing a Friends opinion..actually glowing rarks it wasn't a question where my Fiancées Birthday Dimner would be. We found the location easily. Staff was great! The setting was very sexy!!! So conducive to our romantic evening. The food experience.... OMG!!!! The cuts of meat were done, some to perfection. The side portions were enough to fill us and have leftovers! I'm not a Brussel sprout fan but, after having them there..I am now! Overall great dining experiences! And, WE WILL BE BACK!!!   • "A a friend of ours from Miami recommended this restaurant. We had a reservation and immediately were seated. We had Again Pear cocktails that were so good and refreshing. I got the crab legs, which are already pulled out of the shell!!! Meat was huge. My husband got the surf and turf. Tail was very big and steak was cooked to perfection. Sides cost extra and are served family style. Our waiter recommended the creamed corn. It tasted so fresh like it was just sliced off the cob. Corn was delicious. This restaurant is a must for vacationers! !!"

  • "I think this is the best quality high end steakhouse in Miami Beach. It is a more quiet, less crazy alternative to Prime 112. Very cool interior, steak is outstanding and service is good....and no SOBE attitude. Keep in mind - They WILL push the very high end items like Kobe beef and extra sauces (but that is no different than any other steakhouse), which is why I deducted one star on the service. This is my 4th time dining here and will continue to return when I don't want the drama of Prime 112. Steaks and sides were all cooked to perfection."

  • "Appetizers were very good. However highly touted steaks were fair. Mine was not tender, had a lot of waste, and flavor just ok. My wife's was the same except slightly better flavor. Food came too fast from kitchen. When appetizers came within 3 or so minutes I told server we were in no hurry. Then the steaks came too quickly and server apologized for forgetting to tell kitchen not so fast. Will not retry. "

  • "It wasn't too busy but it still took awhile for our waitress to greet us and take our drink order. The appetizer we ordered was great and so was the wine. After that another server brought our meal which was not correct. After a few minutes we were able to flag down another server who was able to fix one of our steaks. About 30 minutes later our waitress arrived at another table and I flagged her down to ask about a side that we ordered that didn't seem correct. Sure enough they brought out the wrong one. By that time we just cancelled it. To make up for it she provided us with a free desert. When the bill came she added 50% to the price of our wine and charged us for the desert. It felt like she was trying to sneak in $50 in extra charges."

  • "First steak we received was just Luke warm. Waiter made it good by bring another which was very good. Had two issues which concerned me. One of which was that they had no idea as to how the $100.00 credit I have with open table worked. Can't really fault them as I have not been able to figure it out either. The one that bothered me most was the waiter suggested a salad that was not on the menu of a special cheese and heirloom tomatoes. Now I might be from toto land, but I know an heirloom tomato and these were not heirloom tomato's. And to add insult to injury they charged us $48.00 for two salads. Waiter never bothered to mention cost."

  • "Came here when in Miami on vacation. Restaurant was not very busy when we sat down at 7:30 pm. Yet our server rushed to take our dinner order. Wanted to have wine and relax. She came back again to ask us if we had any questions - which meant to order. As it was we were there only one hour. App of crab cakes and steak entrees were very good. So were sides. Rolls were average at best. All in all good not great."

  • "I was not happy with my dining experience! I went for a birthday dinner. Ahead of time I made a reservation and put a special request for this dinner when I arrive none of my requests were met! I am sitting in a two seated table set up so close to the diners next to me. It was impossible to have an intimate conversation because not only was my his and seated so far from me but the noise level in the restaurant was so loud between the music playing and the diners sitting on both sides of me. I did stand and ask the gentlemen in the front about changing tables and he was so rude and unhelpful we had to stay at our table. On top of that our waiter was so slow to attend us. People who arrived after us came and left after us."
