The setting was very sexy!!! So conducive to our romantic evening. The food experience.... OMG!!!! The cuts of meat were done, some to perfection. The side portions were enough to fill us and have leftovers! I'm not a Brussel sprout fan but, after having them there..I am now! Overall great dining experiences! And, WE WILL BE BACK!!!   • "A a friend of ours from Miami recommended this restaurant. We had a reservation and immediately were seated. We had Again Pear cocktails that were so good and refreshing. I got the crab legs, which are already pulled out of the shell!!! Meat was huge. My husband got the surf and turf. Tail was very big and steak was cooked to perfection. Sides cost extra and are served family style. Our waiter recommended the creamed corn. It tasted so fresh like it was just sliced off the cob. Corn was delicious. This restaurant is a must for vacationers! !!"

  • "I think this is the best quality high end steakhouse in Miami Beach. It is a more quiet, less crazy alternative to Prime 112. Very cool interior, steak is outstanding and service is good....and no SOBE attitude. Keep in mind - They WILL push the very high end items like Kobe beef and extra sauces (but that is no different than any other steakhouse), which is why I deducted one star on the service. This is my 4th time dining here and will continue to return when I don't want the drama of Prime 112. Steaks and sides were all cooked to perfection."

  • "Appetizers were very good. However highly touted steaks were fair. Mine was not tender, had a lot of waste, and flavor just ok. My wife's was the same except slightly better flavor. Food came too fast from kitchen. When appetizers came within 3 or so minutes I told server we were in no hurry. Then the steaks came too quickly and server apologized for forgetting to tell kitchen not so fast. Will not retry. "

  • "It wasn't too busy but it still took awhile for our waitress to greet us and take our drink order. The appetizer we ordered was great and so was the wine. After that another server brought our meal which was not correct. After a few minutes we were able to flag down another server who was able to fix one of our steaks. About 30 minutes later our waitress arrived at another table and I flagged her down to ask about a side that we ordered that didn't seem correct. Sure enough they brought out the wrong one. By that time we just cancelled it. To make up for it she provided us with a free desert. When the bill came she added 50% to the price of our wine and charged us for the desert. It felt like she was trying to sneak in $50 in extra charges."

  • "First steak we received was just Luke warm. Waiter made it good by bring another which was very good. Had two issues which concerned me. One of which was that they had no idea as to how the $100.00 credit I have with open table worked. Can't really fault them as I have not been able to figure it out either. The one that bothered me most was the waiter suggested a salad that was not on the menu of a special cheese and heirloom tomatoes. Now I might be from toto land, but I know an heirloom tomato and these were not heirloom tomato's. And to add insult to injury they charged us $48.00 for two salads. Waiter never bothered to mention cost."

She came back again to ask us if we had any questions - which meant to order. As it was we were there only one hour. App of crab cakes and steak entrees were very good. So were sides. Rolls were average at best. All in all good not great."

  • "I was not happy with my dining experience! I went for a birthday dinner. Ahead of time I made a reservation and put a special request for this dinner when I arrive none of my requests were met! I am sitting in a two seated table set up so close to the diners next to me. It was impossible to have an intimate conversation because not only was my his and seated so far from me but the noise level in the restaurant was so loud between the music playing and the diners sitting on both sides of me. I did stand and ask the gentlemen in the front about changing tables and he was so rude and unhelpful we had to stay at our table. On top of that our waiter was so slow to attend us. People who arrived after us came and left after us."

  • "Aside from the typical Miami Beach parking issues ($15 valet charge or play parking space roulet) the location is great. Not near the water but still an exciting vibe. Be sure to make reservations, there were two huge parties that night and a couple of walk-ins were turned away because of no space. The food was excellent; the bread and olive oil was a strong start. Our friends ordered Oysters Rockefeller and the French Onion Soup, we saved room for dessert. :-) Three of us had steaks for dinner, one had the salmon entree. The steaks were seasoned and cooked well, sides delicious. Desserts, bread pudding & molten cake, great as well. Overall, we enjoyed it and will be back!"

  • "My husband and I asked several locals for recommendations. All of them mentioned Red. We ordered the standard steakhouse fare. I had the filet mignon. We ordered creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms as sides. The sides were huge. I think they could have fed 4. My steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. After the meal, we were stuffed. We ordered coffee and despite our full stomachs, my husband got the donut holes. They were the size of baseballs. The were very light and tasty and the three accompanying sauces were delicious. We ranked this meal in the top 5 of all our steak dinners, perhaps top 5 of all dinners. A great experience."

  • "Overpriced $ 89.00 dollars for three Jumbo Stone crab claws. They are better and cheaper $36,00 at Joes a block away. Dessert was more or less tossed onto the table, no description, waitress just walked away.Hard sell from waiter on wine we did not want,seemed they were overstocked and trying to dump on us.Tomohawk rib eye for $ 179.00 was a 16" of Bone and a maybe 8 to 10 oz of mainly fat and grizzle rib eye. I was bummed, i was looking forward to good meal with customers I took out,luckly went to bar later, and forgot the disappointment of the meal."

  • "After researching many great restaurants in Miami and reading yelp reviews , Came here to surprise the hubby for his birthday dinner. Was very disappointed in the service. Reservations at 9pm, got seated right away, didn't even get our drinks until 9:30. The waitress was more attentive to the larger groups and didn't even take our order until 9:50. By 10:15 were starving and finally got some bread and our appetizers. The food was delicious, but the overall dining experience was disappointing. With a $250 bill for 2 , would have expected much better service. Don't think I'll be coming back."

  • "The best Petit Filet steak I’ve had at any steakhouse in the US. The side dishes are super, such as the Potatoes Au Gratin and Red’s “House Sauce” for the steak is not to be missed. The interior is dark and cozy yet modern with a fabulous wine list. This is my favorite steakhouse in America and I try to get here two times a month or more. Bravo!!"
