  • "My wife's steak was superb; mine was very good as was our guests. However,my steak fries were hard and not cooked sufficiently. It was a quiet scene but our table for four was physically too small, and there was difficulty in fitting the food on it. The wine was excellent. The waitress was attentive and overall the service was very good. The restaurant's entrance door from the casino floor makes one feel like they are entering a closet or a cave. Obviously, I did not care for it and it is physically right next to that of another restaurant that was closed that night."

  • "My husband is a huge lobster lover. The South African lobster was the best he has ever had!! It was so sweet & tender, now his new favorite (better than the Lobster House in Cape May) which was always his favorite. This was the second time he had it & it was every big as good as the 1st. It is expensive, but he's still talking about it❤️"

Two criticisms, martinis should be called martinys, they are that small, and the garnish should be better prepared or left off the steak altogether. Will go back..."

  • "My wife ordered the 85.00 lobster tail , and I ordered the 60.00 12oz filet with Steak Fries and red wine mushroom sauce. The lobster tail was leather. nearly impossible to cut through and equally as impossible to eat. The filet i ordered medium, what i received was a steak so overly cooked i could have turned to dust at any point and was incredibly salty i had 2 bites and couldn't take it anymore. The steak fries were completely raw. I was told oh our steak fries are made from baked potatoes, these were crunchy with starchy liquid coming out with each bite. We told the server of the problems, they told us, sorry for our inconvenience , the manager handed us the 190.00 check. do yourself a huge favor, don't eat there."

  • "I returned to this restaurant after having Michael as a waiter previously. He was wonderful! I returned and had Leslie, she was the exact opposite. She actually threw my salad at me and was angry when I asked where my drink was after waiting 20 minutes. It is a shame because the food was good. The only good thing was Josh who was working with Leslie who was great! Also a shame that there are not many options in the hotel. Will not return!"

  • "My husband and I went to Red for dinner. The service was fine but the food was terrible. We ordered a salad and the dressing was overly sweet. Our steaks were just awful. The Rib Eye was totally flavorless and the NY Strip with Cajun seasoning was so salty, it was inedible. Even though we complained about the steak and did not eat it they refused to take it off the bill. They insisted that Cajun seasoning is always salty. As far as I know, it’s a bit spicy not salty. If I’m paying $200 for a meal, I expect to enjoy it. And there was nothing enjoyable about this meal."

  • "My wife and I have been going to Mt. Airy at least twice a year for the past 3 years. We always eat at Reds. The staff are very helpful and attentive to your needs. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. See you again in about 6 months."

  • "Everything about this place was upscale for a casino restaurant. The service was excellent. The wine and cocktail selection very nice. Lobster appetizer- excellent. The Parmigiana so abundant that each of our two college boys could not finish. The scallops on risotto was excellent. The disappointments were my wife's $50+ NY strip was dry and had that "I've been frozen" graininess. The desserts could have been better. All in all, not bad but for the price, I have had better dining experiences elsewhere."

  • "I took my mom to Red Steakhouse and we have the most wonderful time. The food was delightful (I had the filet and mom had lobster tail.) We also had a delicious chilled lobster appetizer with yukon gold potato salad and avocado. The wait staff was very attentive without being overbearing. It was a lovely evening for both of us and I would highly recommend this restaurant, for any special occasion. I would also recommend for just a regular dinner, since the prices were pretty reasonable, given all that we had to eat."

  • "6th time I've had dinner at red. Salads and dessert continue to disappoint. South African lobster tail unbelievably amazing. Consistently THE best tasting and largest tails of any restaurant I've been to. The French onion soup is a must have, in my opinion. The calamari and rock shrimp appetizer is also wonderful. Although I do consider Red a treat, it is by far my favorite restaurant."

  • "This was our second time at Red Steakhouse. We ordered the Seafood Tower and it was exceptional ! We were four people and there was plenty of delicious seafood. So filling that we all ended up bringing 3/4 of our dinners home. 3 ordered steaks, cooked to perfection I ordered a chicken ceasar which was very good also. We ordered sides, spinach, mushrooms and steak fries, all delicious but brought home as well. The only negative about our dining experience was the service, too many servers not in sync with each other which ended up in a delay. I would recommend eating here, however."

  • "tha mt airy lodge thinks people are going to pay $70 an entree for Il Mulino is bizarre thinking........there casino isnt that big, the local population isnt that rich and the 24 hour location will ow be guy fieri, who's restro in NYC is supposedly horrible does not inspire me to keep losing money here. having said all that, never eaten at fieri's but i know i wil never pay $70 for an entree.;NO ONe cooks that well"

  • "Ihigh. ry impressed with the hotel and the Italian restaurant so I had high expectations for Red's. I ordered the rib eye which was awful, not the kind you would expect at a steakhouse but rather at a TGI Fridays. The quality of the cut was poor. The creamed spinach was just wilted spinach sitting in a pool of cream. Our server forgot to put on our entrée orders so they wound up comping our appetizers, which I was thought was very nice. So it's not a terrible place unless you're expecting a really good steakhouse"

  • "Scallops and Risotto - Outstanding, Ribeye - Perfectly done! Veal Oscar - Couldn't be better, and the fish special was great! Meal served perfectly and we had a great time. The restaurant is well laid out so noise level was comfortable. Only 1 thing - the server asked "how do you want your potatoes,?" and "what vegetable with your dinner?" Caught me - I knew things were a-la-cart, but it sounded like these were included, till the bill came. they were very good though! "

No bread, water, I had ice tea and requested refills myself by the glass. all service was not commendable to say the least. Very disappointing when you have food that is just off the hook..... So sorry chef, your serving staff needs training. "

  • "We booked dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The service was exceptional. The dinner was cooked perfectly. We were seated right on time for our reservation and considering it was a Saturday, that is impressive. We did not have to wait long for our food and it flowed well. I just wish there was a larger food selection. They were limited on their wine list as well. It did not have many options to choose from. I would recommend reservations"

  • "The foods good- but the overall vibe doesn't match the menu. I don't mind paying 55 for a steak but I'd like a little ambience- this place feels like a hotel dining room at breakfast- it's under construction so I'll give the benefit if the doubt. It's by far the priciest place in town but the food lived up to the sticker price- they just need to bring the decor service and overall experience to the same level. The caprese salad is wonderful."

  • "We had eaten there last year and enjoyed it also. This was in celebration of my husbands 63rd birthday and it was just the two of us. Lobster bisque and calarmari with shrimp were absolute delish. I had stuffed sole and brought leftovers home for the next day and enjoyed just as much. My husband is a beef eater and had the steak You were very good in reading my reservations and bringing him out a birthday dessert with candle. Unfortunately only a few bites because we were both so full. My only disappointment was the extra large asparagus, not as tender as the nice thin ones."

  • "Our 3rd visit to Red's, as usual the food and service was awesome. Our seating this time was horrible. Just my husband and myself were eating, we were seated in the very first table right next to entrance to the bar. Air vent over me, freezing, the people gathering in front of our table while waiting for thiers, also horrible. The entire meal was ruined for me.. I mentioned to the staff about the air literally blowing down in me, he explained there was nothing he could do. How about offer us another table? This seating sucked the enjoyment out of this meal for me, which was over $200 btw!"

  • "We were excited to dine at Reds and ended up disappointed when we finally got there. The staff while friendly was very slow in service. They are supposed to be a team but there was communication lacking between them It was a relatively slow when we were there on Friday night so I can not imagine the wait if it is busy. If you go pack your patience, it took 20+ minutes just to get a bottle of bubbly"

  • "Once we arrived, we were informed that there would be multiple servers through our reservation. That was something new to us. As our dinner went on, I was impressed how well their system worked. Everything went smoothly and they were all friendly and patient. The food was phenomenal. We both ordered the Scottish salmon and the scallops. Also, we took advantage of their soup special, seafood chowder. It was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. We felt guilty because we could not finish our dishes. It was delicious. We would definitely come back if the opportunity allows us."

  • "The waiter, Mike, was fabulous. Attentive without being overbearing and definitely went out of his way to make us feel welcome and make sure our dinner was exceptional. The soup was great. The salad was good. The steak? Too thick - sounds weird, I know. But it was so thick that the middle of the steak was bland since you didn't get that wonderful crust every time you took a bite. Dessert was good. Bar selection was great - excellent local beers (we bought some of both on the way home). But unfortunately, the cost for the two of us was $250. Way too expensive for the area and the food just didn't quite live up to such a steep bill."

  • "Overall, my husband and I had a nice time. Since the location is inside of a casino, you have to walk through a very smoky atmosphere to get to red's Steakhouse. Inside the ambience was okay, as I faced the kitchen and could see everything that was going on. They had live music but we were not able to enjoy it based on our table's location. The service was very good. The wait staff brought out 2 samples of wine for me to try and they were very attentive! While the steak's were good, our appetizer and vegetables were pretty bland. Our total bill came out to $170 (before tip), so we wished everything was more like 5 stars to pay such a high amount for 2 people: 3 glasses of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 dessert."

  • "The menu is a la carte and the prices for a steak start at $38 BUT hands down THE BEST steak I've ever eaten in my life! Accompaniments were good to very good. I never mind a high price tag if the meal is exceptional and this one was. It was my wife's birthday and our first time here, but I don't think we'll be waiting a year to come back!"
