Diner Reviews
  • "I sent my husband and friends here on their guys night and they loved it and especially the drinks ! They were very happy with the dinning and drinks !!"

  • "Food was fabulous and service was very good. It was a little dark and the music didn't seem to match the theme of the restaurant. The menu had several options which means a trip back!!"

  • "It was a stab in the dark and what a wonderful little find. Excellent food, attentive service, allowed separate checks with no issues or complaints, even had no trouble with an additional guest for dinner. Thank you for adding a little joy to a week of meetings and deadlines."

  • "Excellent meal & service. Bone in ribeye was outstanding. Started with drinks @ frozen martini bar. Used open table for reservation."

  • "Although the food was FANTASTIC, the menu was difficult to read in in the dimly lit dining room. I would recommend looking up the menu on the internet before dining there so you don't have to suffer eyestrain in the darkened room. It would be helpful to be able to read lips, also, because the noise level was decibels higher than it should be for a quiet dinner. But the food was so wonderful we would go back again for the chicken kiev and the beef stroganoff. Outstandingly delicious!!"

  • "Had a great Birthday celebration with delicious foods, and fun inspiring drinks! The restaurant has a very sexy, romantic ambiance that welcomes you the minute you walk in. The tastes are one of a kind! Always a favorite when we visit Las Vegas! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! They were plate ninja's! Our plates were cleared off the table as soon as we were done! Not many restaurants can compare to that! Professionalism is very high, and is greatly appreciated."

  • "Our server was outstanding (Josh? tall guy) and the food was excellent. A great experience and we will definitely go back. (This was actually our 2nd visit) We highly recommend the lobster tacos and chicken Kiev!"

  • "We booked a party of ten for a birthday celebration. Most of us ordered appetizers and all of us ordered cocktails. Menus on iPads was a very cool touch and we all had fun seeing & reading descriptions. Service was slow, it took about 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. With 8 being delivered in about 10 and then the last two taking much, much longer. The food came out much quicker and was gorgeous. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The kobe beef sliders melted in our mouths and the tuna tartare was so flavorful!"

  • "A visit here was long overdue, as there are relatively few options at Mandalay Bay that are nice but not really high-end like Aureole. The menu is a bit short and features a lot of expensive caviar, and if you have picky children, forget it. But the drinks were delicious, the food quite good (Chicken Kiev in particular), and the setting feels like a gothic castle."

  • "We chose the restaurant for the vodka them of course. We were thrilled with the food. Guest 1 - Stroganoff; Guest 2 - Fish; and Guest 3 - Surf and Turf. Simply stated, all plates were clean."

  • "We've been to Red Square several times before but apparently it is under new management, so the more authentic experience of vodka and caviar has given way to very loud club music, poor to fair service, and mediocre drinks. While everything in Vegas is geared toward tourists, we appreciated that Red Square was somewhat unique in that it offered a fun experience but had focused on the basics. With that said, the food was really very good, so at least they have a good team back in the kitchen."

  • "Great food and great service. Have never had anything bad in my visits. Look forward to going back."

  • "This was our first time at Red Square, and it didn't disappoint! Our food was great, came out very fast, it's a little dark in the restuarant as I saw some people using there flashlight on there cellphones to read the menu. Our server Anna was very good, always checking on us and even tools some pictures of my wife and myself. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "It was a quite night for dinner crowd. So the ambience was missed this time around. I've been a few times and seems hit or miss. Best enjoyed when place is full for dinner, if that's what you're looking for. The bar is great for vodka tastings and going with friends in to the vodka freezer."

  • "This place does not know what it wants to be. It is definitely not a great dining experience. It's more of a bar serving excellent cocktails wanting to serve cool food that falls flat. If you dare to put chicken Kiev on the menu then you better make is better than we remember. This dish came PRECUT-just wrong. The entire appeal of this dish is cutting into it and having the butter ooze out. Dry, small portion. Pasta was way over cooked, again, a Russian restaurant doesn't need to have linguine on its menu. "

  • "A very poor restaurant with poor service - would not recommend. Small portions and expensive wine. Manager was helpful over problems"
    Dined on 5/19/2014
  • "The bar has a great variety of vodka drinks, the food pricey but the steak is excellent. Noisy and vibrant but that sums up Vegas.."

  • "Too noisy. Food is mediocre. A fist fight took place and the booth next to us was shattered. Will not return, would never recommend. Sorry we went. "

  • "I really enjoyed the Siberian Nachos. Don't think nachos though... think sashimi appetizer with a twist. Can't remember exactly what they were, but an order is 4 potato chips loaded up with seafood and goodness. Very tasty! We had a large group, so we ordered off a limited menu, but everyone at the table raved over the beef stroganoff and the chicken kiev. The drink menu is a very eclectic blend of cocktails, but the two different drinks I had were both very good (white ruskie and chernobyl). I was planning on drinking draft beer, but all they had were bottles, so I decided to dive right into their cocktail menu, and I'm glad I did."

  • "We booked this restaurant based on the fact that it had a fabulous vodka menu and drink menu and the fact that we have never had Russian food and may never get the opportunity again. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was also amazing. We would definitely recommend the Red Square"

  • "Outstanding! Everything was perfect including the Happy Hour at the bar before dinner!"

  • "Everything was great. Can't beat their caviar prices! Manager personally checked on tables, very nice touch. Can't wait to go back! "

  • "We were seated in the bar at a tiny table with no table cloth. There was a private party that had the entire dining room and they were very noisy. We left after being seated and went across the way to a different restaurant. "

  • "The vodka based drinks were awesome. Service was great as well."

  • "We had the pre theater, hope the regular menu was better. The stroganoff was re-invented and didn't work or satisfy cravings for good stroganoff. Very disappointed with the short rib and side of ricotta noodles the Kiev was even worse. The joys of Chicken Kiev involve the cutting into the fried breast and seeing the butter ooze out. This came pre-sliced and dry as a bone. The "potato chip" crust gave it some crunch but not a Kiev at all. The skimpy appetisers, mini lobster tacos and the tiny salmon pizza wre adequate. Dessert was a disappointing supposedly strawberry sorbet that barely had any berry identifiable taste Four very disappointed diners will never return there."

  • "Took graduating from high school grandson and his mom to dinner as he likes ethnic food. I had been there before for an exceptional meal. This time, things were very different. We wanted the Borst soup since this is a Russian restaurant which I had on my last visit. They no longer offer the soup or anything similar. Literally, only a couple of items could be considered a "Russian dish". While the Red Square has always been expensive, it seemed even more so this time. While we had no alcoholic drinks, the bill was $194. Food was very good, but not large portions (Chicken Kiev for example). Small side of mash potatoes was $9.00 Overall, disappointed. Did they change management or ownership? "

  • "Red Square is a nice place to hang out and have some great cocktails, before hitting nightclubs. The food and service is also great and the stuff more than friendly."

  • "This is a very unique place. Great decor, great ambiance, terrific bar and very good food. Highly recommend when in Vegas."

  • "I was taking clients to dinner, and although I had reservations, it took 45 minutes to get seated."

  • "I visit this restaurant every time I am in Vegas. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is one of a kind. I always get a new Russian Vodka recommendation and the caviar is the best. They are not shy with the prices though so be prepared but on the whole the place is absolutely worth it. Visit the Ice Bar."

  • "This recycled vodka bar nods at its Russian roots with a sparse selection of menu items, some with Slavic names, and a nice choice of vodkas and caviar. The food was good enough - we had beef Stroganoff and chicken Kiev - but not spectacular. The chicken was too dry, and the beef was an unfamiliar presentation for Stroganoff - a large hunk of meat on noodles. Still somewhat movie set-like, with a headless statue of Lenin out front, very high ceilings, ornate light fixtures and "worn" floors, the dining room was fun, spacious, and graciously lit. Though the music was very loud (we dined at 7:30 pm) all speakers seemed to be located high overhead and we could hear each other. Not sorry we went once, but no need to return."

  • "From all of the restaurants to choose from, I would not recommend this one. Filet was miserable. Potatoes were not much better than a powder mix."

  • "We made a reservation but the hostess was interrupted several times by people from the bar checking on their tables. We were shown to a table right in the walkway. The hostess just left us and we decided to leave but before I did I wanted to talk with a manager. It took a while to connect with one of the two managers but when we explained what had happened he found us a table that was not in the walkway. He also bought us each a cocktail and an appetizer. The meal was as good as the last time we visited. For our appetizers we tried the shrimp cocktail & the kobe sliders. Our main courses were the prawn & chicken kiev. The only drawback was the loudness of the music. If they waited until after 8 to bring up the volume it would be nice."

  • "The "frozen bar" is lame. Totally oversold. But the vodkas deliver. Had good service once we got someone's attention."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "Service left something to be desired. Rarely checked on us although it appeared the female server was the only one for the whole room. She had a couple assistants but clearly was not able to provide service to every table. Food was ok, not as good as I remember from previous visits. I find it hard to believe my wife and I would return. The hostesses, what exactly are they supposed to do? Not very friendly, and not just to us but I watched them be unfriendly to everyone they led to a table."

  • "Highlight of our stay in Las Vegas. The flights of vodka were great."

  • "Decided to give this a try as I was watching so much winter Olympics and it was a great find. Fun decor, Quiet as it is not open to the Casino Floor, great service, food with a Russian Twist-but Americanized enough that all in the party were glad. My Beef Stroganoff was delicious and others liked their chicken and steaks. It could have been the 2 Vodka Martini Drinks we each had, but a grand time was had by all as it was quiet enough to hear each other, but not so quiet that you feel conspicuous for having a good time."

  • "Been here many times. Pricey but worth it. Server was outstanding. Three very young atractive women standing out front checking in guests. I approached them with my date and identifed myself. They were talking and joking among themselves and paid no attention to us. I raised my voice and introduced myself again. The background music was loud and she said she couldn't hear me. Rather than leave her podium and come closer, I was forced to navigate the two other girls and make my way to the podium. She refused to make eye contact with me and was clearly frustrated that I had interrupted their conversation. Sad that such a classy place greets guests in a hip hop way. Once inside, all was perfect."

  • "Went for something different - liked the idea of Russian, especially during the Olympics. We got there 30 mins early and they refused to seat us despite their only being 2 or 3 others in the restaurant. Girl at the front was also curt and impolite. We waited at the bar which was pretty cool (literally - it had ice down the middle). Again the bar tender didn't appear too interested in being there - looked like staffing choices were made on implant size rather than skill...finally sat down (they wouldn't let us transfer our tab to the table) and the food was ok, some interesting options. Waitress at the table was competent and friendly. With so many places in Vegas to choose from their are a lot better options for the price. Would not go back"
