Diner Reviews
  • "Wish the dueling pianos started earlier, we left at 9 and they were just starting."

  • "Our experience was awful. As soon as we say down and the server brought us our table water, he said "Hey how are you" and that was it. He didn't introduce himself, he didn't tell us of any plates or specials. It was our first time there and he didn't make us feel welcome. After he said that and we were looking at menus he just stood there looking at us like we were dumb until we told him which beverages we wanted. Now I had a coupon and I was trying to read it when we stood there with his hand out not saying a word and my two friends with a peculiarly unimpressed look said for me to hand it to him and I look up and he is reaching between them just waiting for the voucher. He hardly came to the table, but when he did he didn't speak."

  • "Always have a lot of fun when we go to Red Sky. Each time we go, we have given money (at least $5 - $10) to request a song, and the songs have never been played."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "My friend and I came here and really enjoyed the dueling pianos! The food and drinks were fantastic. The only thing I was not crazy about was that we made a reservation yet got stuck in the back of the restaurant by the bathrooms and the kitchen. Not a great place to sit when you came to enjoy the dueling pianos. Next time we will know to request to sit somewhere other than there when we make a reservation. Was still a great time but just wish we were seated somewhere else."

  • "We have had many good meals at Red Sky. We always try new items and each time are never dissappointed! The grilled romaine is a must."
    Dined on 6/27/2014
  • "Very good food with very good choices of small plates. Fair prices and attentive, personal service. Perfect. We had another great experience on the patio. The Wednesday specials are worth a special trip. Good spot to be with friends."

  • "It was a great experience. Price, drink and food was 5 star. Love it and will return."

  • "We went in a group of 5 to celebrate someone's 30th birthday and the experience was excellent. Our server was the best! She was attentive, patient, and provided us with great recommendations. The dueling pianos are so much fun and the complimentary dessert for the birthday girl was unexpected, but delicious! We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to our friends."

  • "We like to come here on special occasions for a little something different. Food is always delish. It's a bit noisy for my taste, but it makes it feel more fun as well. The owner always comes around giving it a nice personal touch."

  • "I hadn't been to Red Sky in a long time, but the food and atmosphere are as great as always. Even on a weekday night, the place was hopping and nearly packed. We shared 8 different dishes, and all were delicious - I particularly recommend the BBQ short rib on polenta and the veggie pizza."
    Dined on 6/18/2014
  • "Great food! Portion sizes are perfect for sharing and offer the chance to try several different menu options. Everything was wonderful! The hard part is deciding what to order from the delicious menu! The bar makes excellent drinks as an added bonus."
    Dined on 6/14/2014
  • "I come here regularly because I love the food, the atmosphere and service any night of the week. But if you are looking for something fun and unusual to do with a group, you need to go on Friday or Saturday night to hear the dueling pianos. They are hilarious and really get the crowd going. Definitely the place to go for any celebration (birthday, bachelorette party, etc.)"

  • "I love coming here! They make delicious martinis ( very strong!!), and I have never had a tapas I don't like there! Love the coconut shrimp:) The waiters are usually pretty on point too:)"

  • "We live this restaurant. The dueling Piano show is fantastic. Great food and great fun. "

  • "Although the name "tapas" is not completely accurate, I was very satisfied. I am new in town and I'm trying the local foodie waterholes. Superb service, martinis near perfect and really good food, even if it is a bit on the spicy side. Be prepared for the high level of noise; I would've loved to enjoy the dueling pianos, if only I could've heard them over the chatter. Overall, a nice experience, and I will go back after I try other places on my list. "

  • "The food was excellent, my waitress was helpful and attentive, and the dueling piano pair was talented and engaging! I really appreciated the online reservation option. "

  • "The dueling pianos were great entertainment for the night. They tried to get to everyone's requests, and those who were there for special occasions were called up to the pianos to have some fun. The food was very tasty. "

  • "It's a tapas bar and we tried quite a few dishes. The food was good but the guy singing with the acoustic guitar was better"
    Dined on 6/5/2014
  • "First time here and won't be our last. Such a wide variety of small plate items to try. We tried the coconut shrimp, which were large and sweet. The chicken tortilla rolls tasted fresh with black beans and corn inside. We also tried the shrimp and steak. The shrimp were grilled perfectly and the steak had good flavor. All was wonderful. Attentive server and a table visit from the manager. "

  • "We went for the dueling pianos. The guys were pretty good but they could have toned down the gimmicks a bit when they had so many songs that people were waiting to hear. The food was pretty good. But the atmosphere compared to other dueling piano bars was very lacking. This might have been due to the fact that it was mostly middle aged women who left by 10:30. Would be great if this were an intown venue where people make it a whole evening event."
    Dined on 5/23/2014
  • "Initially had purchased a Travelzoo coupon and that was the reason to attend. Turns out the coupon is NOT VALID ON SATURDAYS. Folks need to know and state they have a coupon hen making a reservation. As the evening turned out it was a fun and vibrant atmosphere and the "tapas" food was good. And, the dueling piano's fun."

  • " Attended for my Sister in law's birthday in a party of 6. Great communication via email/phone about seating reservations for the dueling piano show.Great tapas and drinks. Awesome service. Great piano performers. talented! improve upon: volume of the pianos was incredibly loud -The request with monetary tip we placed on the piano was never played by the performers. This was very discouraging (as we requested it at the beginning of the show when no other requests were made). The performers were nice enough to announce the birthday we were celebrating, but the song was never played. If the song was too difficult or the genre of music was incorrect, I would liked to have known so that I could change the song request."

  • "My husband and 2 adult children took me to Red Sky for Mothers' Day. It was the perfect venue for delicious food, wonderful craft cocktails and relaxed conversation. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable; the quietness allows for easy, intimate socialization. We each ordered two plates to share and all four of us agreed that each plate was a winner; we especially liked the bacon wrapped scallops. I highly recommend Red Sky for any social gathering."

  • "I was served the worst calamari I have ever tasted. It appeared to have been fried in oil that had been used and reused repeatedly to fry fish. The fish taste was strong and unpleasant."
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "they keep getting rid of our favorites. 4 of the 5 things we ordered had to be new and they were not impressive enough to come back. I will not be back until the pork nachos, onion straws and/or pot pie are back. still great for drinks"

  • "Us girls went out for a friend's bachelorette party. We had a ton of fun with each other, our waitress was very sweet and helpful, the piano bar was a lot of fun and the food was awesome- tapas was the way to go that night. My friend and I enjoyed the fact that one of the piano players was from Michigan! Go BLUE!"

  • "A small group of us went to Red Sky to celebrate our friend's bachelorette party. For tapas, I highly recommend the Buffalo calamari, black bean hummus, & coconut shrimp. The white pizza and bruschetta were okay. We had never been here & asked about how to request a song from the dueling pianos. Our server told us to write down a song & throw down a couple dollars for a tip. Apparently that wasn't enough $.The dueling piano show was entertaining, but they ignored our song request stating it was "too early in the evening to play it." But when a larger birthday table tipped $100, their songs got played. I would have also liked to have some dance space. It was way too loud & we couldn't even have a conversation. Expect an older crowd."

  • "Had reservations for 9 on a Saturday night. Arrived at the designated time & were seated at the worst possible table in the room. Obviously the earliest reservations get the tables in view of the pianos. The only entertainment we saw were the people waiting in line for the restroom! Several tables opened up but we still were told we couldn't move into the front of the room. Probably not a repeat customer."

  • "We had a fabulous night. Service was good, food was really good and entertainment was outstanding. A fun and memorable birthday party for my husband. Dueling pianos were great and tapas were tasty and more fun than a full meal. Drink prices were quite reasonable. Great night out! "

  • "I have been to Red Sky numerous times. I have always loved the dualing pianos and the food is wonderful. The service this time was disappointing. We weren't asked to order more drinks and had to keep looking for the server. Also, he brought us the check and cleared the table at 10:30 and we didn't leave until after midnight. I was thirsty and would have loved water, if not another drink and would have even ordered more food. "

  • "I have been to only one other true "dueling piano" bar, so I was skeptical going into this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing, the service exceptional, the drink selection abundant, and the entertainment was lively and engaging. The two on piano were funny and very talented. They interacted with everyone in attendance and were keen to tailor their talent to the large groups as well as the small. "

  • "Cool place! I loved the dueling pianos (Friday night)! They really got the crowd involved! Our server was AMAZING! We never went thirsty!! As well, the manager made rounds to ensure everything was great! I cant WAIT to go back! "

  • "Food was fine, not great. The lobster dip wasnt nearly as good as i remember it tasting the previous time. The food took longer than normal to arrive."

  • "We have been to Red Sky for both their Tapas and Friday/Saturday night Dueling Pianos and have enjoyed both. The food is really good. I would not classify myself a "foodie", but really enjoyed their takes on different types of food. I enjoyed everything I tried. There was also food that my kids enjoyed as well (we took them on a different night). The entertainment was FANTASTIC. If you like music and singing along to some of your favorites, this is the place for you. The two piano players will put on a great show. Great for birthday's and other events or just a fun night out away from the kids. Good food, good friends and a really fun time."

  • "Very enjoyable dinner with small plates, drinks and live music."

  • "We were there on a Wednesday night. The food was great. Service was slow & our food didn't come out together. The waiter apologized. I never was offered a refill on my water & would have appreciated more. I could live with all of that but it was very noisy so we could not hear one another talk which was frustrating. There was a musician who played the guitar & piano adding to the overall noise level. The musician's choice of music wasn't appealing & he never took a break. Wine was supposed to be 50% off, but I wasn't sure I was charged 50% off (because if so, a single glass of wine is what I'd consider very expensive there). I wanted white zinfandel but they didn't serve it so I had to settle for pinot grigio."

  • "I love tapas-style restaurants, and Red Sky Tapas was a great tapas bar experience for me. All the dishes we had were well-sized for the corresponding prices. Two of us had a couple drinks and split four tapas as our meal with the Lobster Dip as an appetizer which more than filled us up. Every dish had a unique and enjoyable taste to it. We decided on dessert just to finish sampling Red Sky's menu. As for service, it was alright. We had to ask for refills a couple times, but our server was new and was adjusting to tapas-style service. The other servers helped out by bringing us our dishes, sometimes surprisingly fast, and the manager checked on us a couple times. Overall a delightful and satisfying experience."
