The food was wonderful. Only complaint was the cold breeze that seemed to waft through the room all evening. The waiter said it's always cold in there and tried to explain that it must be the open pool in the middle of the room, but those drafts were coming from everywhere.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I and our twoMy husband and I and our two teenage boys stayed at the Inn for one night during off season. I made a reservation at the Red Rooster for just my husband and myself for dinner. While there were very few people at the Inn or restaurant, the staff was very friendly and helpful and gave suggestions of other local places for my boys to eat. Our food was tasty and plentiful. The restaurant is quiet and elegant. The 4 of us had breakfast the next morning at RR and it was delicious! I think my husband enjoyed his dish (maple pecan pancakes) the most of all of us.
