We waited about 10 minutes after our reservation time which wasn't bad considering the number of people waiting and the occasion. Good food, nicely prepared and tasty. Our used buffet plates were removed timely. The food is always good and usually the wait staff is excellent. That was the case recently. We made on line reservations and I'm so glad we did; otherwise we would have had quite a wait. It was a busy Saturday night and we just breezed right in because we were on time and our table was ready. The curbside valet is beneficial as parking at Birkdale can be challenging. They keep the various items repleished regularly. It still remains a great restaurant! While still a lunch favorite for me, my husband and I had not been to dinner in several years. We were not disappointed! My husband's steak and my fish were both excellent, and the desserts remain a special treat. Service was friendly and consistent. My husband always tries the seafood specials and they are always unique and delicious and a perfect portion size. The steaks are very affordable and delicious and usually served with at least one side and are always cooked perfectly to order.
