We expected that but still felt like it was perhaps out of hand, especially for the wine. I had a glass of house Chardonnay that was $11 and maybe 4 ounces at best. The sides were good and each side is easily capable of feeding two people. A serious menu lapse was the lack of anything resembling a salad. Creme brulee was extra good. We will return but will not order wine and skip the shared app menu. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff quickly seated us, and the service was attentive and friendly the whole night. A glass never emptied and a want was never unmet.
But the best part of the evening was the incredible food. We both ordered steaks and found them to be prepared exactly to our request. The waiter told us that the chef had several different methods of preparation based on the rubs and crusts requested by the customer and we now want to try them all. The steaks melted in our mouths and we left not only satiated but also blissful from the experience.

I travel extensibly for work and can say that this is one of my top 5 restaurants in the world. Notable things - the steak crusts and the wine list. The atmosphere is very modern and in line with a lot of my European favorites.
The service is always top notch and the food overall is superb. The wall to ceiling wine rack behind the bar,the first thing you see when you enter the restaurant, is most impressive. We had an excellent server, Kevin, whose knowledge of the menu and flavor combinations were simply marvelous. Kevin enhanced our dining experience immensely. He was as much responsible for the excellent experience as the chef was. The french onion soup is astounding. It was an instant flavor bomb as soon as it hit the palate. Be warned though, it comes only as a small cup, which makes sharing very hard to do. The steaks were perfect as was the whole meal.
