A hip spot in downtown Renton. The Red House has great tapas and an awesome selection of international beer. You can choose your beer from the little room in the middle of the house and ask your server to chill it for you. Delicious tapas - especially the mushrooms and the bruschetta! Our server was very friendly and patient as our 'after work' get together group sat on the patio and took our time with the vast array of yummy food selections. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Ask for a table on the patio during one of our hot summer nights...its shaded by 5:00pm!

This place was out of sight, it was not where you would typically find a restaurant. The food was good, but it was on the high side in terms of price so I don't know if I would go here unless it's a special occassion

My husband and I find here last year on a much needed kid free dinner. More recently we took my parents to The Red House for dinner ( they were visiting from VA). Both times the food was incredible and the service was attentive. They do not have a kids menu, but they did alter a menu item to the liking of my 7 year old. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends in our area.

Like McDonalds you can always count on The Red House for consistency (actually, I haven't eaten at McDonalds in years!). The key difference of course is the food of which The Red House wins hands down with virtually every meal off of it's diverse menu. The service is generally very good though some of their staff are notably more knowledgeable about the menu and wines than others. I would estimate we have eaten here over a dozen times now with events ranging from family events of 12-16 people to intimate meals with just my wife and I or a pair of friends. We're never disappointed! My favorites: Moroccan Muscles, any of their tappas, lamb burger, never mind, it's all great!

Red House is truly the neighborhood gem. The wine list, the friendly staff, the amazing food never disappoint. Wether it's a rainy day or a beautiful day its always seasonally perfect whether you're stopping in for a quick wine/beer or appetizer or a long social meal. A great ambiance for friends to share and staff that is warm and personable and so helpful with wine choices and suggestions of new wines.

Four of us had dinner at the Red House recently. It was a first time for all but one of us. I had driven past the Red House for several years, just thinking it is a wine shop. When friends visited from out of town we decided to try it. It is allot more than just a wine shop. The food is excellent with a surprising offering of dishes that are not what one would have expected. I will go back, and it is a nice place to take a small group for an intimate dinner. The boarding house setting means that if you eat inside you will most likely have a private room. The patio is great, and shaded, which helps in the summer in Seattle.

This restaurant was a great find on our visit. In a little neighborhood location the outside dining was great. The wine list is extensive with all the different bottle selections throughout the restaurant. Jeff Andrew has an excellent selection of wines for diner as well as for direct purchase. We enjoyed several small plates and the dessert? The ricotta cheesecake was a hit as well as the pistachio gelato. When back in town for another trip will make this a stop and recommend it to our local friends

I picked your restaurant because a few years ago I dined there with a girl friend. I had the lasagna, and recalled it being the best I had ever had. On the evening of our reservation we were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary. My husband loves anything Italian and he had never been to your restaurant, but I knew he would love it. (He agreed it was the best lasagna ever) I had the fish special which was also very good. We will come back with our grown foodie children from Las Vegas next month, they are also wine snobs so I know they will love your establishment.

Red House is quaint and unique, has a delightful menu accompanied by amazing daily specials. The wine and beer selection are more extensive than you could expect to find anywhere else in the area, and available for retail purchase as well as with your dining experience. The staff are friendly, intelligent, and always exceed expectations. Based on my reservation, they greeted me by name upon arrival, which was a pleasant surprise.

I just had lunch at the Red Door on Wednesday and I've already told several people that they have to go there. I personally love non-corporate, entrepreneurial restaurants that show imagination and have great food. My sister and I split a crab cake sandwich which was served on a fantastic rustic style French bread. It came with a choice of fries (regular or sweet potato) so we choose the sweet potato. They were actual sweet potatoes, not yams so although they had a sweet overtone, they were more savory. Thick cut and very good. We splurged on a ricotta cheese cake served with strawberries and had a good cup of coffee. I had a great Pinot Gris with my meals. Light, crisp, perfectly chilled. Our waitress was fun and personable.

The Red House was a very respectable restaurant and tapas place. We arrived early on a Sunday for dinner. We were offered a choice of indoor our outdoor dining as it was a nice day. We chose indoor. The water arrived in a timely manner and the menu selection looked very good. My husband and I wanted tapas dining, the menu could have been a bit more expansive. We ended up with the cheese plate, olives, duck liver pate and mushrooms. Our son had the bacon wrapped filet mignon. All the food was very nicely prepared and yummy. We also ordered a bottle of Spanish wine, which was also very well priced and very nice. The service was a little slower than we might have liked, but all items were delivered at the same time. We'll be back!

The chef is pure magic, the entree selections inspired, the wine list truly global and amazing. The Opa fish was exquisite, and I suggest trying the specials whenever possible. However, if you haven't had the Cippino fish stew yet, it is phenomenal. We asked the waiter what they made it with and he said, "It's made with Love." I truly believe that everything at the Red House is made with Love. Very knowledgable sommelier, too!

Dinner for 4, seated in the upstairs area was delicious. Wine was great, (which by the way we accidentally spilled and the waiter replaced it free of charge!) We ate Steak Medallions, a Chicken dish where the chicken was wrapped in prosciutto and Lasagna. (All delicious) The apple crisp for dessert could have been cooked a little longer (hard apples don't do well in a crisp) but overall, we will be going back. Fun, lively atmosphere!
