"Maybe it was because we were brunching on Easter in Boise, but the food this time was not as fabulous as we've had on other visits.
Nevertheless, I've dined all over the world and will happily hold the Red Feather to compete with anyone. A true gem."

"The food was excellent as always and good service, although our table was located in a very congested area at the top of the stairs so not really a great seating. Otherwise, always love Red Feather and highly recommend it."

"Very good food, and sustainable choices. Menu a bit limited, but really enjoyed the Idaho sturgeon. Excellent wine list. Tables/booths are very close together, so when booth next to us became occupied, it was a little too close. Would return, but not for special occasion."

"We always love brunch at Red Feather, although this last experience was not our best! Our breakfast pizza was burned so badly that we couldn't eat it, surprising that it was even brought to the table as it was absolutely charcoal on the bottom! They were very gracious and made us a new one and gave us two mimosa's at no charge. The other problem was they ran out of their mimosa's by carafe (although over the years these have become less champagne and mostly orange juice, so not the great value they used to be!) We will definitely go back to The Red Feather as I believe these problems were just a one-time problem!"

"Have been going here for years and always had a great experience. This last time was not great - the service was extremely slow and it took over an hour for the salads to arrive. The server never checked on us or provided any updates. The restaurant was very busy and probably understaffed, but these guys have been in business for a long time and should know how to manage that better."

"First visit here - I have read mixed reviews, so I was somewhat wary. We were seated promptly at our reserved time, which was nice. The place filled up quickly and had a lively but not too loud ambiance. The cocktails and food were great! The only downside was our server, who seemed a bit scattered and was not really on top of things - for a place like this you would think you would have a more professional staff. The bartenders, however, were great. We will be back - reservations highly suggested."

"I loved the bacon cheddar souffle and tea for brunch. My tab was less than $9. A favorite brunch spot. Wonderful place to catch up with a friend on a weekend. Reservation needed. Didn't have to wait, although busy. Our first time there was delicious too. Waitresses very fast and responsive."
