  • "My friend and I dined here for lunch today, not only is the food delicious, but the staff seemed to really enjoy working there. It shows in the way they interact with each other and with the tables. Today, ordered the caramelized brussel sprout with bacon jam (devine) and the grilled salmon panzanella salad (grilled baguette croutons, tomatoes, goat cheese, mediterranean olives, baby spinach, basil, & balsamic dressing). My favorite place on Tuesday to “wine down” and enjoy half-priced select bottles of wine!! An overall enjoyable experience; I will definitely be returning again, & again! "

  • "The menu has been expanded since we last visited Red Door, and there were many great choices. We had the mussels as an appetizer and they were really good - I will go back and make a dinner of them! Martinis were perfect and our server was friendly and helpful. We will be back soon!"

  • "Let me say the trout was to die for, along with the pacific merlot wine. That is where it stops though. We were there on a Saturday, seemed not so busy of a night. We all were greeted and seated promptly upon our arrival. Order was quickly taken appropriately too. I had placed a salad order along with my main course. My wife had a substitution of green beans to replace her fries. My salad arrived halfway through my main course meal. At that time, I feel the need to not eat the salad. My wife did not receive her green bean order, and was given fries with her meal. The waiter never once came by to check on our table until the end of the meal. At this time, it was of course too late to bring the green beans. We were compensated nicely though."

  • "The restaurant is very nicely decorated, but the food is average at best. I had the onion rings and it seemed as if they were re-warmed, not freshly made. Others in my party enjoyed their meals, but I am pretty particular about the food I eat. If you can pretty much eat anything, then you will probably be fine. However, if you are a foodie you probably won't be impressed. The service was great though, the waiter was amazing! The food was just not that good."

  • "We had a party of 3 and all enjoyed their food. It is a casual atmoshere and we will be back. Good menu selection, something for everyone. The bar looked nice and modern decor, we did not go into the bar on this visit. Food choices varied and good quality."

  • "I met a friend who was in town from Chicago for lunch recently. I let her know that the burgers at Red Door are second to none. She agreed saying it was one of the best burgers that she had ever had. Our service provider could not have been nicer. Great service and food as usual!"

  • "Have to wonder if they had a real bartender this past Friday Night Ordered a Scotch & Soda with a Twist of Lime, did not receive a Lime, waiter said bar tender squeezed a Lime In it. OK. Reordered a second drink, no soda sent it back and got some type of sweet mix. Finally after the 3rd try they got it right. Glass was small, a lot of ice and $9.50 a drink is to excessive for basic scotch. Will not be going here for cocktails."

  • "The Red Door gives a new twist to the neighborhood hangout. Creative menu with lots of choices from a wonderful Caesar salad to a yummy chicken dish with flash fried spinach. Nice wine menu with by the glass options in 6 oz or 9 oz. I wouldn't say that the noise level is "energetic," rather, I'd describe it as LOUD!"

  • "Very nice atmosphere...excellent service, yummy steaks. The bread appetizer was so very tasteful and presentation was perfect. The wait staff was a true team effort, I LOVE that aspect. My Jack Sparrow drink(s) were perfect as well. Definitely recommend this wonderful eating/drinking/enjoyable experience!"

  • "We've been twice, once in the bar, once in the dining room. Great ambience both places. We had the chicken enchiladas, Porky's Revenge Burger, flatbread pizza. We enjoyed the food very much. The Pecan Pie dessert was to die for!"

  • "We have enjoyed Red Door a few times in the past. They have a good selection of tasty flatbreads that we like to start with then each have an appetizer or salad or soup. This visit, we decided to share the mussels. They were mostly shriveled and the broth had no flavor to it. My wife had an artichoke and chicken flatbread for an entre and said it was very good. I had a meat loaf melt sandwich on baguette served with au jus and it was fine, nothing special but very hard to eat. A positive is that, as usual, their service is very professional and friendly and efficient. And they make an excellent Hendricks martini providing cucumber chunks on a drink skewer which many places do not. We were disappointed this time but will be back."

It was more than we expected from amazing customer service to the superb taste of the food. The lighting and the fireplaces provided a relaxing environment.   • "Dining early on a Saturday night right before an expected snowstorm, our small group was very pleased with the wide variety of excellent food at the Red Door. We all had something different - meatloaf, rainbow trout, pasta, wings - and everyone was happy. The portions were quite large so the guys were full and we ladies took home half our entrees. I absolutely loved the fact that RD had local wines from Somerset Ridge on the menu. Our server was fun - she told us that she was such a regular customer at the restaurant that she decided to apply for a job! The only disappointment came with dessert - a chocolate/butterscotch torte which was very dry and had no discernible flavor. The bar area was packed & energetic. We will be back!"

  • "Our 3rd visit in the last 6 months. Our first 2 had some really good HIGHS and some pretty sad lows but that is to be expected with any new place. We went for an early dinner intending just to grab a burger, but discovered their happy hour, with a menu including lots of great apps at great prices! Tried their version of Whole Wings (different & simply amazing-we will always order these); a perfectly & properly cooked Salmon BLT sandwich; and the Pork Street Tacos. WOW!! Everything was FRESH & delicious, like they were really TRYING to put out good & tasty food! We did not even realize until after we left that they had made some major staff changes, but whatever they are doing NEW is really working for them. We will definitely go again!"

  • "I have been to Red Door Woodfire Kitchen and Bar for lunch several times, but I mostly go for happy hour. Great and innovative cocktails. My favorite items on the menu are the street tacos and the flatbreads. The service is always good too. The service and the food always bring me back. I will try the dinner menu soon."

  • "I'm conflicted over my experience. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the presentation of the food and the quality of (most) of the ingredients. The signature cocktail list is varied and both drinks my colleague and I tried were flavorful with a good balance. We had the calamari and kettle chips as an appetizer. The calamari was well cooked and the presentation was attractive. My issue lies with the "Remedy" Burger. I ordered the burger medium but received medium well. The quality of the meat was good but it lacked seasoning and I found the "Aged White Cheddar" to have almost no flavor. I do prefer my cheddar sharp, so this may be a preferential item. All things considered I don't feel the burger was up to the challenge of its asking price."

  • "The atmosphere and wine was great. The food was good and eaten completely. However, I would have ordered Salmon medium instead of the medium rare as it is normally prepared (and I normally like.) The salmon was a little "gelatin-like" in the center. But the taste was great. The guys ate all the meatloaf. The pecan pie dessert we kept eating despite being full. Delicious. Service was great and our server was very personable. We would go back"

  • "Fun menu, with lots of choices for small and large appetites. Great appetizer choices. My choice was pretzel coated onion rings,with 3 dipping sauces......Yum. Lunch entree, street tacos, corn tortillas 1 each pork shredded, shredded chicken - both seasoned perfectly, served with fresh lime, quac, pico, green sauce,sour cream. Anxious to try dinner!"

  • "We have eaten at Red Door three times now and tried different entrees. Without fail, they are all very good. But their grilled entrees are by far their best on offer. Both kinds of fish and the chicken are absolutely delicious! This restaurant is a very pleasant surprise in a sea of only average restaurants."

  • "My wife had s filet. It was very tender, but had very little flavor but that of smoked. I had mussels. It was agenerious amount, but the mussels themselves were rather small. Service was OK for a busy valentine weekend. We felt rushed to finish. Dinner came out before we finished salads."

  • "We had a lovely experience. The waiter was very attentive & friendly. The only criticism was that the food took too long coming out of the kitchen. Otherwise, it was great, I had the salmon NLT which was yummy & cooked to my specification. Other diners in our party had the fried chicken salad (enormous!), the baked chicken (moist & delicious) & the fried shrimp (big prawns really) with fries. The fries were crispy outside and mealy inside - yummy! Our waiter really personalized the service. We will be back!"

  • "We made the mistake of thinking this was a more romantic fine dining experience instead of a bar-and-grille place, which is our fault. We were seated next to the kitchen in the bar area with a very large television just above our booth and even though the sound was low it was a distraction. If I want a large screen TV in my face I'd prefer to just to go to Applebees. The server was attentive and got everything right, he was just too loud and in our faces when we were trying to talk. I only had to ask him once to stop refilling my wine glass. The food was well prepared, tasty and hot, no complaints there at all. This is a nice place to go if you want to watch the game or don't care to have a conversation."

  • "As others have noted, the food is very good. Our group of 4 had mussels for an appetizer and they were very good. Entrees included burgers, a taco platter and the shrimp special. The burgers were excellent as were the other items. As with other reviews, the service was lacking. Our server disappeared for long enough periods that some us became frustrated. That said, I tried to go back the following with my son. The place was packed!"

  • "First off, Matt, our server was a hoot but extremely helpful with the menu and suggestions. Started with the frites. Very good (maybe a little salty) but great dips. I had the ribs...outstanding. The wife had the enchiladas. They were OK but not over the top. She regretted not getting something off the grill. She will next time. We had the bourbon pecan dessert...like heaven. Good prices, good food, great service...we will be back."
