We always enjoy Red Bar. TheWe always enjoy Red Bar. The menu is inventive and it is a wonderful dining experience. We were a group of 4 and each entree was excellent. I especially love the Crackling Pork Shank and the Peconic Bay oysters were delicious. Not the case. The menu was extensive and the portions normal size. The salad was delicious and I had salmon for an entree. The salmon was a little undercooked for me, but I did not send back. My dining partner had a delicious soup and pork shank. The dessert menu was varied, and delicious. Our server was prompt and courteous. Glen, the matre d was delightfull. It was difficult to decide what to order. I settled on the Crackling Fried Pork Shank which was so gorgeous I had to take a picture of it. It was also amazing: crispy on the outside and tender and moist inside. It was served with green lentils and an apple and prune sauce on the side. I highly recommend it!
