I got the Vegetable Ragout to start, it was my first time trying faro much less smoked faro and it and the seasonal veggies were cooked to perfection. FYI: the entree portions are out of control, I got a smoked salmon pasta dish the size of a 4 month old. MY BF's mac'n cheese with bacon (served like a liquid cheese bacon soup with some macaroni and more cheese grated on top) was enough for two large lumberjacks. We both enjoyed our food and took the leftovers to go before stopping by the back of the restaurant to catch a indie flick at ReBar's ReRun cinema. Drank beers in the car seat chairs, stayed for a talk-back with the director. Awesome night.

The food at Rebar way surpassed anything I would expect from a local pub. It should be classified as creative, fresh, high quality fare at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend the artichoke dip, Parsnip and Sweet Potato Cakes, Cobb Salad, Burger, Pork Meatball and Rebar Margarita. While the atmosphere was quiet on a rainy, Wednesday evening, it was rocking when I returned the following Thursday. Definitely worth the trip!!!

Great place, worth checking out. The food was great!! A great spot for a foodie. The vibe was chill and relaxed.. great beer selections..easy to get to.. Some of us drove, parking was free and easy to find and some came by train, one block away.. Cant wait to go back for movie night

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the quality of the food - I got their "signature" polenta but it was way too salty to eat. I also got their "mixed" olives but all the olives are marinated in the same marinade and therefore they all tasted the same and unfortunately I did not like the taste so they all tasted bad. The place was freezing -- they don't have one of those plastic vestibules that keeps the cold so the place was freezing (maybe by the bar the place feels warmer - but my friend did not take off her coat the whole time we were there. That said, the serve was very friendly!
