  • "The waitstaff was one of the best I've seen yet. It was very nice seeing everyone work as a team, from filling our drinks, cleaning our table to making sure our table was clean. The food was amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly. This was our first time to dive here and we will most definitely be coming back."

  • "first time in Ft worth and must have steak, the idea of Texas steak. did research and there are so many good things to say Reata on web, so I did. but was disappointment, start with the tenderloin tamale, did have more masa than ground beef( it may be tenderloin),one plate is more than meal itself for two, my wife had day special which was filet with shrimp. all you will test on shrimp was tabasco like hot sauce and salty. I did order first time on Baffalo, was just good not great, again salt was overwelm all over. if I will have Mexican food I will go to Mexican rest, but if you are steak rest, stay with steak."

  • "I love Reata but I had an issue later that evening due to a stomach issue . I think the soup did not mix well with the Rita . Never had an issue before."

  • "First Ribeye way overcooked. Second Ribeye was all connective tissue. Service was good. I wouldn't go back for the food though. Masa was mushy, green beans were raw."

  • "We have eaten here four it give times and enjoyed the experience, but I had asked for inside top floor seating when I booked the reservation because we were needing to relax. We were seated bottom floor right next to a LOUD table full of women who were basically drunk!! We had thought they were close to leaving when we got there but oh no then dessert was offered and if course these fat loud people had to have it!!! No a fun it enjoyable evening at all!!! To give the manager credit he did come offer to move us but that was before we knew about dessert and we THOUGHT they were leaving. I really wishes he had asked a second time."

  • "Ambience, service, scenic rooftop view and some of the best food you'll find in Fort Worth make for the ultimate cowtown dining experience. With a menu that caters to almost any taste, you won't be disappointed. From chicken fried steak and sirloins to soups and seafood, every option leaves you full, satisfied and already looking forward to your next trip. There is no way for you to leave Reata and not feel more than satisfied."

  • "The food here is delicious! The tenderloin tamales absolutely lived up to their reputation as being one of their most delectable signature dishes! My boyfriend, who usually opts for chicken over steak, ordered the beef filet and was immensely impressed with his choice. I'd also highly recommend evening rooftop seating, from where the warm downtown charm and buildings outlined with changing colored lights can be enjoyed and serve as a backdrop for your special occasion. Very romantic ambiance indeed."

  • "Our favorite Fort Worth restaurant! Chef Juan Rodriguez flawlessly turns out Texas favorites with a nouvelle twist, a wonderful mix of classics and new flavors. The calamari and the chicken fried steak are the best we have EVER enjoyed. The Texas redfish and carne asada are superb! The rooftop bar is also a memorable setting in which to enjoy drinks and appetizers. The cookbook for the restaurant is available on site and is a great souvenir as well."

  • "We celebrated my wife's birthday with best friends. Beginning at the front door to our table the staff wished her a happy birthday which was nice. Our server Taylor was wonderful and made us feel welcome. She helped with drink and food selections which were all great. The special "happy birthday" writing in choclate on my wife's dessert plate and a card from the staff was a big hit. We will be back again."

  • "Overall good. The tamales were very good. Their rolls/muffin were poor dry bland. Service excellent. For a steak, its a good place. Much better than the Alpine Texas Reata."

  • "The food was great but I was mostly impressed with the staff and service. Everyone was so kind, friendly and accommodating. Since I'm vegetarian and my sister is Vegan, we really appreciated the level of knowledge our server had about the food and the ability of the kitchen to accommodate us. My only compliant, the banana pudding was beyond disgusting. The dessert tacos and apple crumble, however, delicious."

  • "Reata is a great resturant for any occasion. Went there on a first date and couldn't be more pleased. The food was amazing and the deserts even better. Service was great, our waiter Kyle was probably the best I've ever had, great guy and a real people person. If nothing else we would go back just to visit with him."

  • "Very surprised at the end of our meal when our waiter Rian brought us a beautifully decorated plate with the words Happy 16th Anniversary written around the edge of the plate with a delicious chocolate icing. Two cookies topped with a whipped topping along with chopped strawberries. Also, my Beautiful Bride and I were given a sparkling glass of champagne. Rian even offered to take our picture with my phone. I made reservations online a few days in advance and noted in the special occasion section that we would be celebrating our anniversary. An exceptional dining experience!"

  • "Used Open Table to make the reservation. Left a note that it was our Anniversary. We were greeted at the reception kiosk like we were Royalty. We were taken to our table where we were introduced to our server Jendi. She is a total delight. Made excellent conversation, shared with us what the specials of the evening were and just as I suspected we changed our minds and had the specials. The Steak and Seared Scallops on mashed potatoes with asparagus where out of this world. We paired that with the Shafer Merlot and it was a match made in heaven. When desert came they had inscribed the plates with Happy Anniversary Wishes and a card signed by the staff. If you have a Special Occasion then Reata is The Place and Jendi is the server."

  • "This was my first time here but it will not be my last!Absolutely wonderful!First the decor is so awesome. I love the true Texas feel. And the rooftop bar is so nice (along with outdoor dining).Next time I hope to eat outside!Second, our waiter (can't remember his name). His service for our group of 7 was impeccable.Loved his fun sense of humor and great recommendations. He was all over our table and did a stellar job!Third, the food....every single bite we took at the table was awesome. The tenderloin tamale appetizer and the onion rings were both so good!! Many of us had the jalapeno cilantro crusted redfish. Amazing! The chicken fried steak...another amazing entree. Lastly, dessert....the chocolate bread pudding tamale...to die for!"

  • "This was my first time to dine at Reata. I knew it was a fantastic restaurant, and I browsed the menu online, so I knew the menu. I did not know what to expect about the atmosphere, and even the look. It was a good mix of formal dining and western influences, combined with an open dining feel with several private dining options, including a massive enclosed octagonal room in the middle of the space with large windows and seating for 8 to 10. The food was great and somewhat unique. You will not find some of the items at other casual dining establishments. For me it is a special occasion choice, but it is one that will be hard to beat."

  • "Have never been disappointed in my dinner dining experience here. Food always superb and a great place to take out-of-town company to woo with a little Texas flair. I'm just sorry that I ate every last little morsel of my steak (melt in your mouth Pan-seared Pepper Crusted Tenderloin) and had no room for dessert. THAT is a rarity for me, as the dessert selections called to me on so many levels, but between the steak & the jalapeno cheddar grits....this gal was full! My date enjoyed the Blackened Buffalo Rib Eye (a first for him), and marveled at the richness of the dish."

  • "best seat in house given to us and my out of town guest really enjoued the views and casual oudoor dining. Kyle gave us superb service and just the right amont of attention and recommendations for other FW venues. Food always good but the coolvibe is why I love this place.."

  • "The server rushed us &k ept picking up plates and clearing stuff even when we still had food on it that we were eating. The noise level was so bad that even my friend that I was taking to Reata's for her first time noticed how noisy it was and she has one ear that is a bit deaf! The stuffed enchilada with tomatillo sauce was horrible..chicken tasted old and had a piece of grizzle in it. I have had this entree one other time and it was the best! Don't know what went wrong this time??"

  • "I went to dinner for the first time at Reata for my birthday. Everyone wished me a happy birthday. Our server Shirley was amazing. She is truly what excellent customer service is all about. They even gave me a birthday card signed by the staff. My daughter, who has been in hospitality management for over 15 years said that she was blown away by the level of service. I both had very delicious ribeyes cooked to a perfect medium rare. The views from their rooftop dining are not to be missed. We ate outside in 90 degrees and with the fans going it was nice and cool. I will definitely be going back."
