Food was great and everyone was very friendly!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Place for Family CelebrationI took my wife and two sons there for my younger son's birthday and my wife's birthday. The staff was super nice and there when you needed them and not there when you did not need them. The food was awesome. A little pricey, but we knew it would be and were ready for it on our special occasion. We had a great time, and I would recommend it to anyone.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Mother's Day!The Reata was perfect! Will definitely do it again!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTexas GourmetWe ate at Reata for Mother's Day, and it was a wonderful choice. Service was impeccable and the food is amazing-- it has a really unique Texas flair, like the bourbon creamed corn or the cheddar and jalepeno grits-- yum! Highly recommend for families, friends, dates, it's a great restaurant. Also, make sure to try the bread pudding that comes in a corn husk-- SO good.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's DayI had a gift card from work and chose Mother's day to take my wife out for something special. Reata is perfect for such occasions. The food is adventurous and everything we have ever had at Reata has been wonderful. Our service was the very best. Our waiter's name was Curtis and he was very engaging, helpful and attentive. When we were getting up to go, Curtis thanked us for coming and said he enjoyed serving us. The noise level was a little high because the restaurant was packed wall-to-wall and there was a very good live musician. However, the overall effect was one of warm ambiance, memorable food and service!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day dinnerMy review of Reata to outstanding. We dined on the rooftop and ordered everything from calf fries to bread pudding and everything was perfect! We steak and lobster tails, cheese grits, fried shrimp and lots of deserts! The atmosphere was great, the rooftop was amazing and the day was perfect for outdoor dining. The waitress was very friendly and the service was fast and food cooked perfectly.
We have not been to Reata in a number of years just because we go to so many other places in town more regularly but I think Reata will be put back on the list for our go to steak house.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMNever dissappointsThe Reata is a true Ft Worth classic. Wonderful food and atmosphere. We drive from Dallas to enjoy all the Reata has to offer.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMImappreicate how the managerImappreicate how the manager took really good care of us. Very personal service and great food!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe can't wait to go back!We cant' say enough good things about this restaurant. The food was fabulous from appetizers to dessert! Our server, Marjorie, couldn't have been better! The wait staff as a whole works like a well oiled machine. Plates disappear and glasses are refilled as if by magic - you never even notice when it happens. This was our first visit to Reata and I can guarantee it will not be our last!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMMY FAVORITE FORT WORTH RESTAURANTOut of all the restaurants I've visited so far, this has consistently remained my favorite. This is a rare restaurant that has actually improved, rather than declined over time. Every dish I've ordered so far is exceptional. The wait staff has the right amount of attentiveness - not too much or too little. The atmosphere is a great balance of sophistication and comfort. My last several visits have been wonderful!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFort Worth LandmarkReata is a fantastic restaurant for business dinners. It not only provides out of town guests with a flavor of Fort Worth, but has an ambiance and service that promote open communication.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMReata itself is a special occasionIf you are looking for an extraordinary dining experience then Reata Restaurant is the place to be. I dined with a good business friend there and we ate like a Kings. The service was wonderful and the menu had a wide variety of choices. While this is a higher end restaurant, one can dine most affordably or as extravagantly as you desire to.
The steaks were served exactly as ordered, the sides were delicious and portions were very generous. The desserts were sumptuous and a perfect end to a memorable evening. Our waiter was attentive, personable and always there when you needed him and never overwhelming, as is the case at other restaurants I have been to.
I look forward to my next dining experience in this fine dining establishment!5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMVery Ft WorthRestaurant was very quiet even though it was full while we were there. Ambience is fancy, but relaxed...a very Ft Worth type of experience. We found any of the game items we ate we're very tasty.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat as Always. What can I say? Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic atmosphere and a fantastic price. I dont know where else I could get a porterhouse with lobster crab brulee complete with green beans and some of the best garlic mashed potatoes I have ever had in my life for less than 50 bucks!
Staff was amazing, frequently checked on us to make sure everything was ok. We went there for our anniversary and they even gave us two free glasses of champagne with our desert. Love this place.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMnice placeThis is my go-to place for business people coming in town who want to see a bit of "Texas." It has all the kitsch in the right place and still has good food and always excellent service. The valet parking helps also.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMa Texas gemThe Reata still has the ambiance and the food of Texas. When you enter the restaurant you feel the sense of everything big, everything a wide open Texas ranch has to offer. You look around to see if the Cartwright brothers from Bonanza are near. The steaks melt in your mouth. My wife and I love this place.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat First Time experienceIt was our first time to Reata and we had a great time! Outdoor rooftop seating in downtown Fort Worth provided a great backdrop as we enjoyed an excellent rib-eye. Definitely recommend splitting a steak as 14-16oz is quite a lot for one person. Service was helpful and it wasn't too loud or crowded. Free valet parking and validation for self parking both available.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMEveryone was very friendlyEveryone was very friendly and gave us much attention. Felt very welcomed. Beautiful scenery and wonderful ambiance.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMBest dining in Fort Worth! Can't say enough good things about our dining experience at Reata. From outstanding service to excellent food, it was truly a pleasure! The manager stopped by our table several times just to see how things were going. It was clear that he was a great guy that was passionate about customer service, and his employees enjoyed working there.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful evening to dineBeautiful evening to dine on the rooftop at Reata in Ft Worth.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMSave room for dessert!Must try their version of bread pudding...but only if you love the gooey center of a warm chocolate chip cookie.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMOur meal was great; our serviceOur meal was great; our service was outstanding due to the obvious "team' effort all around. Our waiter, Daniel, was an excellent attendee to our questions, comments and requests. He got it "right". Very good experience. Our server,
Shirley, was great.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrating a birthday withCelebrating a birthday with two adult daughters and one toddler. Ambiance was the best part of the evening. Fine wait staff but not often available due likely to the size of the open air multi-level facility. Food not up to expectations for the price.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMDate Night SuccessThis was our first trip to Reata and it was a pleasure. The menu was big enough to find something for even the most picky eater, but not so big as to be overwhelming. The starter breads and butter were delicious, very garlicy but delicious. My date started with the Jalapeno & Cilantro Soup and I started with the Caesar Salad. The soup was creamy and had surprises like chunks of avacado. The salad was fresh (even cheese) and the dressing was better than expected. My date is on a quest to taste the worlds best Chile Rellenos, theirs is stuffed with grilled chicken and paired with roasted corn chowder. He's still searching. I tried the featured fish of the day - it was ok. The best part was dessert - chocolate bread pudding tamale.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I absolutely enjoyedMy wife and I absolutely enjoyed our dining experience! This was our 2nd time and we were actually able to have the same excellent server twice! His name is Dale and he is excellent!Great food, service, and atmosphere! He ordered the carne asada with enchilidas and found them to be rather ordinary. sorry.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe always enjoy the uniqueWe always enjoy the unique menu, good service and ambiance!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary Dinner and a ShowWhat sets this place apart from other restaurants is the service. Jendi knows her food items and provides details to those items you don't get from other restaurants. We were in Fort Worth for a concert and in passing mentioned our belated wedding anniversary and unexpectedly they surprised us with decorative chocolate writing on our plates. My wife was moved to tears. Appetizer was elk sausage dressed with a roasted jalapeno and jalapeno cheese grits, amazing!!!! My wife had the halibut its was great. I had the chicken fried steak it was delicious. Desserts were incredible. My wife had the banana pudding. It was blended like a mousse and not overly banana tasting. It was light and fluffy. I had the chocolate lava cake with drunken berries.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMReata is my favorite steak place!Love reata!! Everything about it is great. Great food, great service!!!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMReata is a great place withReata is a great place with great food. If you go, go on a nice day/evening and sit on the rooftop. The best way to enjoy Reata.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe dined in the downstairsWe dined in the downstairs area and it was great and very intimate. We were on a first date and had no problem with conversation and the total bill was very reasonable. Kayleigh was a great waitress and met our every need. The food was good but not fantastic but the atmosphere made up for it and the overall experience was great. I had the mahi mahi and my date had the grilled chicken. I would absolutely take another date there. Afterwards we went to the fox and hound a couple blocks away for a night cap.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and very knowledgeabExcellent food and very knowledgeable waiter. They allowed us to bump table sitting back to have a drink onrooftop bar, still seated us graciously on a really busy Friday night.
Shared magnificent appetizer sampler in lieu of entrees and no attitude. Attentive, easygoing wait staff. Great Experience in downtown Fort Worth!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Best Dining Experience!I took my husband here for his 30th birthday and it was everything I thought it would be and more. The food and drinks were wonderful from start to finish. The service was equally as impressive. Our server, Craig, was attentive, entertaining, and knowledgable. We live in the Dallas area and have become accustom to the pretentious, "$30,000 Millionaire" scene that makes us just want to stay home on special occasions and save the money and frustration. This experience made us appreciate fine dining again; from the food, atmosphere, and service it renewed our faith in fine dining. This Fort Worth treasure is well worth the money! Make sure to ask for Craig if you want a fun, great dining experience.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA Sundance Square Gem!Wonderful ambiance only topped by the quality of food and first class service. We felt like valued customers from the moment we stepped through the front doors. Each course was better than the last. Special note for the steak lovers; you will not be disappointed. Cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Portions are extremely generous.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMReata has a lot going forReata has a lot going for it. The setting is unique, right off of Sundance Square in the heart of Fort Worth. The interior captures the spirit of Fort Worth, with a western theme that is not overdone. My wife is an interior decorator and she approves. Most of menu was creative, and the stuffed duck breast, and jalapeno cheese grits was perfectly done. That banana pudding topped off everything just right. Service was extremely professional, also. We'll be back4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and service wereThe food and service were excellent, as always. There were just a few people nearby who had clearly had too much to drink, but that's not the restaurant's fault.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been fans of ReataWe have been fans of Reata both in Fort Worth and in the original location, Alpine, Texas for as long as they have been open. The unique menu, terrific service and true friendly western cowboy attitude make the Reata both a special occasion destination and a place to just go to and have a good meal.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMA good find in Fort WorthA very interesting setting with many innovative items on the menu. The backened Buffalo Rib-eye was outstanding and large enough to share. Did not try the Elk and Cheese sausage but that is another good example of an interesting menu.
Service is great and we were well attended all evening.
Noice level is on the high side so if you want a quiet conversation make sure you select your table carefully.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAs always, Riata was a delightfulAs always, Riata was a delightful experience. Casual, but still classy. Food was excellent and the service was attentive but not intrusive. We love going to Riata and will continue to do so.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMClassic Texas dining fromClassic Texas dining from the steak, tex-mex and game to the game trophies on the wall and the ranch inspired art work. The singing cowboy was a enjoyable addition to Easter lunch. The vodka limeade and the jalepeno elk sausage were my favorites. The dessert tamale with Jack Daniels sauce was a creative twist on bread pudding.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMReata was a great choice forReata was a great choice for my husband's 50th birthday. The atmosphere was lively, but not too loud. The location was perfect for our stay in Fort Worth and everyone was very accomodating. The dessert wrapped in the corn husk like a tamale was amazing!
