  • "Our dinner with friends at Reata was memorable and in a very good way. Food was delicious, but what made the experience a truly terrific one was our server -- she was superb! Will return sooner than later."

  • "A friends and I all enjoyed drinks in the roof top bar with apps then moved to a table on the 2nd level of outdoor seating. The hostess staff could not be more professional or friendly. Brandon our waiter made the evening fun. Food quality and consistency as usual was great. Very enjoyable outdoor dining with the good weather that the atmosphere there is amazing."

  • "We came to your restaurant to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Our waiter asked what brought us to the restaurant, and we told him this. The main course was delicious, but when he brought the desert out, it was such a nice gesture that you had written Happy Anniversary on both of our plates, and gave us each a glass of champagne. It was a very special, and touching moment, and we will be back!!!!! Thanks, Delvin, & Carla Guinn"

  • " We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Reatta. We were treated to a very fine dinner, along with some good, strong margaritas. What made the meal truly memorable was the excellent service, which included a 'Happy Anniversary' card signed by the staff. Southern hospitality at it's best."

  • "I went to the reata for a very special occasion, I asked my long time girlfriend to marry me. When I got there I was immediately greeted and asked if they can do anything to help out. They sat me in the best table on the roof and the hostess was great. Thank you so much for the service and I will definitely be back."

  • "You start out with a biscuit and corn muffin basket, go easy and pace yourself! We started with the sampler platter appetizer (it's a meal in itself!), so when dinner came we were already full. A 20 oz buffalo steak was way more than enough to make two meals for my husband, he loved it. I ordered the 10oz peppercorned filet special, and it was as filet should be. The dessert menu was just the run of the mill, I didn't think it was worth the expense or calories. Overall, the most notable dish was definitely the sampler platter! "

  • "Visited Reata for dinner. Made reservations in advance on Open Table. We sat outside at a table for two looking out across downtown Fort Worth. It was a very nice two hours having quiet conversation with my wife. The food was excellent. We do not drink alcohol and did not feel pressure too or out of place. My steak was a melt in your mouth piece of meat and the wife's citrus chicken was great. Our waitress, Morgan, was great and was very helpful guiding us through menu choices. We do not make it to Fort Worth often but will definitely return to Reata and have already recommended it to family and friends. Warning, large portions! "

  • "Both of our meals were excellent. I had the salmon. The other meal was steak and lobster. The side dish of asparagus was a little small. Nice wine selection. We had a CA Merlot."

  • "We enjoyed our experience on the roof with perfect pleasure. The buffalo tender was outstanding, salmon too and my filet was tender and cooked to perfection. We returned for dessert after the symphony, and that was another great experience of shared Delectables. Thanks...we will be back!"

  • "I made reservations the same day I was to arrive and had no problems with the online system and was escorted to my tables promptly, even though I arrived 10 minutes early. The ambiance was wonderful. Very well done all the way around. The server (Lauren) was fantastic. She recommended items from the wine list and the menu after inquiring about my taste. Lauren always seemed to appear at just the right time without seeming to hover. Mariah (manager) came by to ask if everything was satisfactory. During her short visit she invited me to the rooftop area overlooking downtown. After I finished dinner, which was delicious, I went to the rooftop and was impressed with the ambiance there as well. Very positive experience overall."

  • "Reserve a table ahead of time! We reserved our table several weeks beforehand with a note we would like roof-top seating (weather permitting), we were greeted by name at the host table and our table was waiting for us on the roof, as requested, with no wait time. Our waitress was very on top of things without being a "helicopter" and had an answer for any question we asked. I could not help to almost say "bring them all" when she went over the chef selection/specials for the evening. The food was incredible, the ambiance was superb, and it was a very delicious well presented meal. Not a choice for a normal Wednesday night, but perfect for a nice night out on the town. Highly recommend!"

  • "Every spring my friends and I get a hotel room in downtown Fort Worth and "do" the Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival. Part of that ritual is dinner on Saturday night at Reata. Downtown Fort Worth has many great restaurants, but every year we keep going back to Reata. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is superb. I always recommend Reata to friends, relatives, visitors from out of town."

  • "We travel often mainly in the US and Europe. We always eat at Reata when in the DFW area. The location is historic and beautiful. The staff is always friendly and helpful. But the wonderful and unique food and roof top dining keep us coming back for more."

  • "I have been to Reata many times and always enjoy having lunch there. It was a very warm day and Reata was a perfect location for lunch after visiting the Main Street Arts Festival in Fort Worth. My husband usually has the bison burger which changes every day. This time it was a Mediterranean type with basil and mozzarella. Always cooked exactly as ordered. I had a combo with grilled cheese and salad. Great combo. Would definitely recommend this for lunch or dinner."

  • "Service was rushed. Wife's steak was overcooked. Waiter did offer to bring another one but my wife didn't want to be the only one still eating after everyone was done so she declined. Steak and redfish were under seasoned. Tenderloin tamales and house salad were very good. Overall decent food but not worth the price."

  • "Reata offers a wonderful dining experience if you are looking for Relaxed, Western/Urban Fine Dining. Our food was beautiful and delicious. The service was topnotch. Special touch with our dessert when Landon learned we were new to TX. Script on our plate read, Welcome to Texas and TCU (in chocolate). Fun, classy, service extraordinaire!!!! A completely enjoyable, beautiful evening on the open rooftop."

  • "Went to dinner early (6PM) before weeknight performance at Bass Hall. Not crowded at all although it was filling by the time we left shortly before 730. Service was attentive, polite, personable, and helpful with suggestions, but not hovering. Due to some dietary restrictions, several adjustments were made to the standard plate on each order--minor but easily accommodated. Appetizer: bacon wrapped shrimp (3) were good. Dinners: Pork shank braised and falling off bone, served on a blackeye pea hash: excellent. Redfish was served over grits with seasonal veggies (fish and grits were TDF). Dessert: pecan pie w/ vanilla bean ice cream was perfect. A great meal at a moderate price (for an upscale restaurant) with good service. We will be back."

  • "We eat at Reata several times a year. The food is always great. It was a little noisy this time. We didn't get our usual favorite apple crumb with cinnamon ice cream. The waitress recommended the banana pudding. It had no banana in it only a small flavor, more like a vanilla pudding. We won't do that again but we will go back to Reata."

  • "This has always been one of our favorite restaurants but the last two visits have been very disappointing due to food quality. I had the club sandwich this last time and it was mediocre. We took out of town friends. She had a salad with steak on it....the presentation was awful.....she said taste wise it was just ok. Her husband had the bison burger and said it was good...I hate to say this but not sure we will come back. Not sure what has changed in the kitchen. We did have good service and restaurant has great ambience."

  • "We had a great server on Saturday night. We were sat just before two other large tables and she was just as attentive to us as she was to the large party. Food was also out very fast yet we didn't feel rushed. We will definately be back. Thank you for a great anniversary dinner."

  • "My date and I were going to the comedy theatre next door and had made reservations for 6. We were greeted graciously at the front door and taken right to our seats. The service was good and attentive and the food was superb. Afterwards, we stopped back in for dessert and a nightcap. I just asked for a table and a gentleman offered the "dome room". I accepted and it was fantastic finish for a great night. Couldn't have been happier."

  • "I love going here for special occasions or when you want to have a nice date night. The food is exceptional and I love the jalapeno cheese grits. You must try them! I also like going to the 4th floor outside bar when the weather is nice. You can also eat up there. I would recommend Reata."

  • "The atmosphere was comfortable, rustic yet elegant. Taylor, our waitress was very friendly, well spoken, and was well versed on all the menu items. Asking if we were there for a special occasion she thanked us for choosing Reata and later surprised us with two complimentary glasses of champagne, a large scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a chocolate bread pudding tamale, highly recommended. On the perimeter of the plate was written in fudge "Happy 32nd Anniversary".For dinner we had the Chef's Special, a 10 oz rib-eye, large poblano pepper stuffed with crab meat, shrimp, & hollandaise, garlic/cilantro mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. The presentation was exquisite. We will go back."

  • "The service here was incredible! The staff was very courteous and welcoming from the manager to the four servers who visited our table. Our primary server even recommended different places to go out after dinner and even was willing to setup reservations. The food was great. We had the citrus chicken and chicken fried steak. Both were great! We can't recommend this place enough!"
