Downstairs, the 1,800-square-foot restaurant offers seating in an intimate dining room, lounge and bar. Guests enjoy a grand entrance, with a vaulted ceiling… and long mahogany bar that features an expansive menu of grappa, the favored drink of Italian kings. "ReSette salad was great. We had the chicken and the pork entrees. Both came with lots of food, but the meat was overcooked. The menu said pork medallions but I think they were just boneless pork chops. You shouldn't walk away hungry, but won't be blown away by the food."

"Other than it always being very warm (too warm), the Food and Service are always spot on. The Veal Scallopine (a simple dish) is extremely tender and great taste. My friend had the ravioli with a pear puree in a cream sauce...they were spectacular."

"I have been to Re Sette before and enjoyed it, but this time when I was there for lunch the service was atrocious. 50 minutes to get a pizza and a sandwich? And the waiter wasn't even apologetic. They also shoved us up at a table by the bar, even though we had a reservation and there were open tables in the regular dining room. Perhaps this was the reason for the distracted and poor service."

"Had a living social voucher and server was a bit curt, maybe the voucher was the reason. Food was mediocre, nothing bad, but nothing to knock your socks off. For the money there are tons better places in NYC."
