Our waiter disappeared on several occasions, did not bring bread or refill water. Three people in our party ordered the pecan crusted trout. It had absolutely no flavor. Served on a big pile of equally flavorless grits and burned brussel sprouts. It was literally inedible. The waiter never came to the table to check on how everything turned out. 3 of us were stuck eating the bread and whatever the rest of the party was willing to share. When he finally came over, he did remove the uneaten trout from our bill. This was probably the worst dinner and service I have ever had outside of QT roller food. My assumption is that Ray's is planning to go of business soon, so they just don't care.

Unfortunately, this was not our best meal at Ray's. My husband initially ordered chicken then changed to halibut, but chicken arrived at the table. Most of our entrees, including his chicken were lukewarm to cold. I had the parmesan encrusted scallops. The scallops tasted OK, but were not warm. When we told the server about the mistake with the chicken she asked to replace it. My husband told her he didn't want the halibut as the rest of us were almost finished, but she put in the order anyway. He was clear he did not want it. When she found out he refused it she said said he should have taken it home. Very disappointed in our meal and our service. We had friends visiting so it was even more embarrassing.

Waiter (David) was outstanding! Food was very good. Recommendations: (i) serve salads in appropriate plates; (ii) serve and remove plates for all guests simultaneously; (iii) greeter seemed to be "stressed" (she needs to be friendlier); (iv) restaurant should read "conact us"e-mails (mine was ignored); and greetings should not be familiar such as "LJ" (seniors, in particular, prefer Dr., Mrs., etc.).

Went to Ray's Killer Creek on a Friday nite for their lobster special ($25 for 1.25 lb lobster, choice of side and choice of salads). It was great! No complaints about anything. We were surprised that it was not crowded however. Got there at 7 and there were several vacant tables throughout our meal and until we left at 8:45. Last time I was at Ray's they served me the biggest filet I've ever had. It too was excellent. They seem to do a great job there, so not sure why it was not crowded. Definitely worth going to Ray's.

Pricey bottles of wines for the average joe. Food quality and overall service not up to par. Couple of years back looked forward to coming for a special occasion, but not wowed during my last few visits. Also heard rumblings from friends of slow/bad service and food quality so so. Not on my short list for a special dinner.

We have been to Killer Creek several times over the last month for the Lobster Special. Nicole called us to verify our reservation and asked if we were getting lobster tonight. We said we were, Nicole said she would reserve three for us. When we arrived, Nicole recognized our group and welcomed us by name, WOW! We had requested Katrina as our server, she had exceeded our expectations previously. We were not disappointed, Nicole seated us at a table close to Katrina's section. Katrina remembered us and verified our drink orders. Three of us had the lobster, but the fourth diner wanted grilled shrimp and scallops (not on the menu). Katrina was able to fulfill his request with no issue. Thanks Nicole and Katrina for a great evening.

My wife and I had dinner reservations for 7:45 and was not seated until 45 minutes later. We tried to pass the time by having drinks at the bar but had a really hard time getting waited on by a bartender. Once we were finally seated, the waiter was very good. He was very knowledgeable and attentive to our requests. We had the Blue Cheese Chips as an appetizer which were very good. However, that is where it ended. The steaks we had were not very flavorful at all and we both were extremely disappointed with the sides. Our meal cost over $200 and it certainly was not worth it. We both have had much better meals for a fourth of the cost. We will not go back.

We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation. Our table wasn't ready. We were told to wait.. After 20 minutes we were called. We had requested a table with a scenic view away from foot traffic. There was no such table available. Our table was small and in a very congested area with lots of foot traffic. It was 20 minutes before a waiter approached us.We ordered our wine and waited and waited. A manager came by and we expressed our displeasure. We ordered our food. The salad, salmon and scallops were delicious. However, our side items were omitted. The food was very good. We were disappointed with the service and the wait time. Why bother to make an open table reservation at Rays if this is the way they treat people with reservations.

My wife and I went to Ray's for dinner before going to a concert. Two of us ordered the crab legs which were the special and the ladies ordered lobsters and crab cakes. Well there was no issue getting the salads and the wine but when it came time for the entries things got interesting. Everyone was served but me. My side came but no entree. The server who brought everything said she would be right back with mine but never showed. After 20 minutes still no food. After getting the waiter, still no food, after getting the floor manager still no food. After 45 minutes and excuse after excuse, still no food. Other people around me got crab legs, but mine never came. The waiter said I would not be charged for something I didn't get, nice touch!

I made a reservation at Ray's for a special occasion for my wife and I, for a Saturday night at 6:30pm. I specifically noted/requested that we wanted to be seated on their patio, as my wife and I enjoy outdoor dining. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told that the outdoor patio area was reserved for a special function and would not be available. We were quite disappointed with this as frankly this was the reason we chose this restaurant for our special occasion. The restaurant should have informed us of this, as I made the reservation 2-3 days in advance, and the hostess could see the notation in our reservation. They left a confirmation voice msg earlier that day and should have mentioned this at that point.

We also went to the bar after both times and there was a great entertainer, with a fantastic voice and great play list. We've recently started going to Ray's again. The meals and service have always been good. The inside atmosphere is elegant as you'd expect from a restaurant in this price range. Their outside deck is unique for the area because it overlooks a wooded area instead of a street or parking lot as typical in north Fulton, but we were a little disappointed this time in the outdoor dining area. Whereas the inside is elegant, the outside seemed unkempt as if it was of a lower priority than the inside. Considering the unique setting, I wish they would keep the outside nicely appointed and maintained similar to the inside. We have not eaten outside in a long time and don't remember this problem last time. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

It's been a while since we've been to Rays. Consider myself a foodie. Walked in a really nice place. Staff very nice but slow/spotty service. Specialty drink we had far from special. Salads and gumbo was pretty good. Trout and grits flavorless. Looked nice and big portion but no taste. Noticed table next to us barely ate theirs also. Ribeye deMonaco was okay but nothing special. Neat place with nice staff. Service slow/spotty with ok food but for the price you pay not on par with other places in Roswell/Alpharetta.

We invited out-of-town guests to meet us at Killer Creek. Although we have had two bad meals there in the past month, we remember a fabulous dining experience at this restaurant three years ago and keep coming back, hoping that our bad experiences have been flukes. They weren't. We were embarrassed and frustrated to have "treated" our friends to the poor, overpriced meal we received. Management must have changed, as this is nowhere near the level of food/service as Ray's on the River. My Caesar salad was whole leaves of romaine with shaved Parmesan and a blob of dressing. I sent it back. My lobster was uncleaned, cold and overcooked. My friend's salad was terrible. The crabcakes were burned. Our server didn't check on us. We're done.
