I took my family to Rays at Killer Creek for Sunday brunch. I have been to all of the other Rays locations and have never been disappointed and expected no less here. Needless to say, the food was great, service was great and the view was great (however, I have yet to see the killer creek) but that was ok. I will definitely be returning, especially since its closer to my house. Loved it!!!!

We went to brunch to celebrate my mother's and fiance's birthday [same day yikes, but different years =0) ]. But it was great. The brunch was huge and amazing. Highly recommended. And the staff congratulated them without embarrasing anyone.

Food was average at best, too expensive for the quality of food provided. Sparkling wine was flat, steak was not up to old standards. Oysters were small and over priced. Would not recommend. Too many other fine restaurants to visit in the area.

We had a phenomenal experience. We were visiting Alpharetta from out-of-state and decided to try Ray's Killer Creek for dinner. We started our experience speaking with the friendly hostess, who had a great personality. We were immediately drawn to the music coming from the lounge. There was live music by a performer named David Payton. He was extremely talented! We stayed for a few songs prior to being seated at a booth in the main dining area, where a young lady named Christian took great care of us. We had a special request for the blue cheese chips which she accommodated with ease. The scallops were delicious as we'll. We went back to the lounge for more music by David Payton. The entire evening was truly memorable.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the food. Shrimp tasted like it came from a frozen bag out the grocery store. Same deal with scallops. We had been in Ray's in the past and this was never the issue. Apparently there's a change in chefs.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff at Ray's, it's an upscale restaurant with very responsive and positive staff. However, the food quality was a major disappointment, especially for the prices. Grand total with tip for 2 people with 2 entrees and a single glass of wine was $91.86 only to be served food that can be best described as "Applebees Seafood". For the quality of the food we were served, it should be 1/2 the price we paid. I'll check this restaurant off my list as "tried it" but we'll never return.

The service and food were great. Our son has a very severe allergy to dairy. The staff was very attentive to this and the chef was great. He took the time to speak with us, walk with us through the buffet and let us know what our son could and could not eat. He even offered to go to the store to get soy or almond milk, and they made a grilled chicken breast in the kitchen for our son to eat. We will be back

I felt the food was good but a bit overpriced. I felt that the prices were set high because of the location the restaurant is in (johns creek) and not based on the actual food. Also, what steak house runs out of prime rib on a Friday night?!

Steaks are way overpriced. You pay almost as much for a prime steakhouse so why would you do that? Gift cards. I only went because I had several gift cards that were given to me. Otherwise, I would spend almost the same money at a prime steakhouse such as New York Prime, Chops, etc. I could buy and make a better steak at home. Seafood and soups were good.

I was disappointed that my salad was drowned in salad dressing. When placing my order, I was neither asked about the type of dressing I wanted nor if I wanted the dressing on the side. Even though you had been advertising a special lobster dinner/price on the radio, it was not on the menu. I had to ask for it. The lobster tasted old and the server said the kitchen would not remove it for me from the shell. It was simply split down the middle. At at "fine" restaurant, I expect better service and much better food. The green beans were tasteless.

The initial greeting was slow and it appered the server was entering tips on the computer as she was stapling sheets together we waited a good 4-5 minutes before greeted. Once she did the service was attentive and prompt with the exception of getting our cocktails. Being in the business gotta say 16.50 for a call Manhattan is ridiculous. The buffet was wonderful and the buffet attendant was great. Usually don't respond yo these surveys but wanted to vent that.

Our waiter disappeared on several occasions, did not bring bread or refill water. Three people in our party ordered the pecan crusted trout. It had absolutely no flavor. Served on a big pile of equally flavorless grits and burned brussel sprouts. It was literally inedible. The waiter never came to the table to check on how everything turned out. 3 of us were stuck eating the bread and whatever the rest of the party was willing to share. When he finally came over, he did remove the uneaten trout from our bill. This was probably the worst dinner and service I have ever had outside of QT roller food. My assumption is that Ray's is planning to go of business soon, so they just don't care.

Unfortunately, this was not our best meal at Ray's. My husband initially ordered chicken then changed to halibut, but chicken arrived at the table. Most of our entrees, including his chicken were lukewarm to cold. I had the parmesan encrusted scallops. The scallops tasted OK, but were not warm. When we told the server about the mistake with the chicken she asked to replace it. My husband told her he didn't want the halibut as the rest of us were almost finished, but she put in the order anyway. He was clear he did not want it. When she found out he refused it she said said he should have taken it home. Very disappointed in our meal and our service. We had friends visiting so it was even more embarrassing.

Waiter (David) was outstanding! Food was very good. Recommendations: (i) serve salads in appropriate plates; (ii) serve and remove plates for all guests simultaneously; (iii) greeter seemed to be "stressed" (she needs to be friendlier); (iv) restaurant should read "conact us"e-mails (mine was ignored); and greetings should not be familiar such as "LJ" (seniors, in particular, prefer Dr., Mrs., etc.).

Went to Ray's Killer Creek on a Friday nite for their lobster special ($25 for 1.25 lb lobster, choice of side and choice of salads). It was great! No complaints about anything. We were surprised that it was not crowded however. Got there at 7 and there were several vacant tables throughout our meal and until we left at 8:45. Last time I was at Ray's they served me the biggest filet I've ever had. It too was excellent. They seem to do a great job there, so not sure why it was not crowded. Definitely worth going to Ray's.

We have been to Killer Creek several times over the last month for the Lobster Special. Nicole called us to verify our reservation and asked if we were getting lobster tonight. We said we were, Nicole said she would reserve three for us. When we arrived, Nicole recognized our group and welcomed us by name, WOW! We had requested Katrina as our server, she had exceeded our expectations previously. We were not disappointed, Nicole seated us at a table close to Katrina's section. Katrina remembered us and verified our drink orders. Three of us had the lobster, but the fourth diner wanted grilled shrimp and scallops (not on the menu). Katrina was able to fulfill his request with no issue. Thanks Nicole and Katrina for a great evening.
