  • "Service top of the line! Food second to none, and renovation makes for an impeccable environment!"

  • "Great menu, excellent food, warm atmosphere, friendly service. What more could you ask for?"

  • "Ray's did absolutely nothing wrong, it's just that they didn't do anything to make it worth returning. An okay selection of Scotch and Bourbon (about 12 bottles of mostly predictable Scotches, and no Bookers), our night started off well enough in their rather energetic bar. But when we moved to our table it's as if the life was sucked out of us. There was no sense that this would be an event: Our server was prompt and very polite but lacked energy; our entrees were timely but unexciting; and dessert was rather ho-hum. Our appetizer was very good (Crispy Point Judith Calamari) but my wife's Ahi tuna was boring while my ribeye steak, ordered Pittsburgh style, was instead just very rare. Sorry to say it but we left disappointed."

  • "Four of us went to Ray's at Killer Creek and all were pleased! Service was great and food was delicious! I had the scallions and they were perfect. My husband had the filet and he said it was one of the best he's eaten! Don't forget desserts! They were incredible! One of the best lemon drop martinis ever! A great evening out with friends!"

  • "We were fortunate to have Katrina as our server for recommendations from cocktails, appetizer, entree through to dessert."

  • "The Hawaiian AHI tuna was the worst form of this dish I'd ever experienced even the Caesar salad was awful.. the lettuce was brown & the dressing was watery & smelled like pure vinegar. On the other hand the charcoal ribs were good the best in a restaurant"

  • "Food was good but not great. We've had better at Ray's on other visits. Service was great as always."

  • "This was our first visit. We had great food and great service. We will be back."

  • "My wife had the fish and was over cooked. Both of our dinners came with mashed potatoes and both of us agreed they didn't taste right. A pasty taste. My filet was good. I probably won't return."

  • "I was at Ray's for lunch with two business associates. I had the Scallops, the others, the Halibut. One piece of fish was not cooked to the guest's liking. The server advised that that was the temperature that the chef preferred to prepare the dish to. Was it being implied that my dining companion does not know how she should order her fish prepared? The server did not ask any of us how we would like our entree prepared, i.e. seared, grilled, blackened, etc. The restaurant should offer you a choice of vegetable. Other than these minor hiccups, everything was great."

  • "We always enjoy Rays, whether for lunch or dinner. The order was not perfect but no one complained to the wait staff in order to correct it, and we were not charged for the mishaps or all was good."

  • "Excellent food. The server needed more training. He was polite and coureous, but we had a child with us and he took forever to take our order, did not bring bread quickly even after we asked, did not hurry back when we requested condiments, did not refill water promptly. Generally, poor service. Very disappointing service, excellent food and ambiance. We will come bakc, but I will let the manager know my expectations upfront regarding service. For this type of price point, the service should be spot on."

  • "We had teh Scallops and Grouper and both were prepared as expected. The portions that they serve is perfect and the sides that occupanied the entres were very good. My wife had the lobster rossoto as the side and it was outstanding. We also had a nice bottle of wine that was not severly overpriced. Highly reccomend this restaurant if you are looking for a good place in Alpharetta"

  • "Great food, though wish there was bread offered either as a menu item or before the appetizers. The noise from other tables was a bit distracting, I felt I was shouting across the table to carry on a conversation."

  • "I made this reservation over a month ago and they put us at a round 5 top where there was no space for a round 5 top. The wait staff had to squeeze by two of the people at the table in order to help other customers. It was so bad that when the Manager tried to help the waiter with refills he spilled two cokes all over two of my guests and the $52.00 Seafood Appitizer we had ordered. He offered nothing as compensation as the waiter indicated he would. It was a business lunch so I could not make a fuss in front of my clients. However, I do have a fun story for cocktail parties for the next several years. How does the saying go one good experience is repeated once but a bad experience is repeated ten times over. It is all about word of mouth."

  • "I hadn't seen the new renovation, but it is a quiet setting for a romantic dinner. Great service, wonderful food."

  • "Out of first 2 wines ordered. Pretzel bread overly salty. No taste to Caesar salad. Whipped potatoes were nothing special. Ordered filet medium. It was medium rare to rare. Told easier and offered to take back. By that time I was so underwhelmed that I told him my husband could eat it next day. Prime rib was okay but a tad over cooked. Ordered med rare but more medium. We did get complimentary champagne and a free dessert. Very disappointing for an anniversary meal."

  • "What's so great about this restaurant is there are so many options to choose from and different cooking options as well! The red snapper was excellent and prepared exactly as I asked."

  • "We had an incredible family dinner here on Friday night. We loved the atmosphere and the food was awesome. My husband had the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly to his liking. I had the horseradish encrusted grouper which was wonderful. The chocolate mousse dessert is seriously to die for. Carrot cake was scrumptious. They have a great wine list including 1/2 off deals on good wines. The highlight was the service we received from Katrina. Wow. She made my son a real cocktail with a shaker poured into a martini glass. She was engaging and shared stories about food and the menu. We will be back and will make sure she's working!"

  • "8th year wedding anniversary , could not have been better."

  • "I go to Ray's about every two months, it's convenient from Roswell and generally things are VG/Excellent. I have to admit, this time I got the 'Big Green Egg' ribs, which I had never had....they were incredibly dry. That's the first dish I've been disappointed with at Ray's. The calamari is excellent, ribeye was terrific, salmon as good as usual, horseradish encrusted group quite good. They also had gumbo, which I love, but I'd only give it three stars, wasn't in the top range of gumbos I've eaten. Desserts were stellar, never had a bad one there. Oyster selection was a bit 'blah' this time too, normally they have excellent very briny PEI/Canadian species which we love, all these were from the U.S. and not up to the normal standards."

  • "Overall good. A friend suggested Rays to me and I enjoyed the evening."

  • "8 pm seemed to too early to be stocked out of signature things. They had a special wine list and came back to say they were out of the wine they promoted and we chose. Later, we asked for bread for the table, got remnants. When we asked for more they said they were out. The salad with dressing on the side was dripping with dressing. The portion sizes were skimpy and we're not bug eaters. We still hungry after $106 check."

  • "We love the steaks here, tender and prepared well, not overdone. Don't have to order a medium rare to get a medium cooked steak. Good wine list, waiter recommended a Shiraz off the half off wine list that was great -- and not the most expensive! They have a nice outdoor area that we did not use as it's March and freezing outside. Not a place for young kids, we brought our 14 yr old (family birthday) and he was fine."

  • "I saw Ray's Creek as I was passing it on the road and thought it would be a great place to take my Wife on our 27th Wedding Anniversary. It was easy to make a reservation, the staff was outstanding and very polite. The server explained everything very well. The food was just average, not special at all, as I had hoped it would be. My Ribeye was cooked right but did not have much flavor and was a little tough. At these price's it should be prime beef! It is not prime beef! My wifes Unstuffed Salmon was thin without much flaver and the stuffing on top was just your ordinary crab stuffing, very bland. I am not usually a complainer but I was excited about this event. Everything was great except the food."

  • "My girlfriend and I met for lunch at Ray's on the Creek. This was our 1st time at Ray's on the Creek. There weren't many people there at the time we arrived. Needless to say, it was quiet in the restaurant. We enjoyed our time there not feeling rushed. We started with the potato chips loaded with blue cheese. It was very good! We wanted to lick the plate clean! She ordered the salmon burger and I ordered the ribs. They were both good but I would not order the ribs if I went back. It's not that they weren't good, I just think that I can get ribs elsewhere and maybe should get a signature dish next time. I was told that the salmon burger was very good. We ordered the chocolate mousse cake with oreo crust. It is so rich and delicious!"

  • "I made a reservation for our 40th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, the staff treated us as if we were a special guest. The flowers I ordered were on the table and the food, along with the service , was excellent. A special place for a special treat. Many thanks to the staff for making our anniversary one to remember."

  • "I'll start by saying I expected a lot. Ray's, despite the fixed menu, couldn't meet the expectation. 30 minutes late being seated, and then another 25 min to serve a hot shrimp cocktail that was supposed to be cold chilled shrimp. You see where this is headed. But a manager stepped up, and I explained these gaps, and she took charge of our evening - doing her best to smooth the kitchens rough road. My steak was cooked right, and nicely seasoned. but the wife's scallops and risotto - seared only on one side and the risotto was glue. My mashed potatoes (I asked 2 sub ANY vegetable, but alas) were inedible. The baileys irish cream creme brule had run out and we got regular... *sigh*. But the pregnant brunette manager? 5 stars for effort."

  • "Ray's offered a set menu for Valentine's Day. The cost for the four course meal was $50. It had a lot of variety, however, half of the items for each course had an up charge, which was a bit disappointing. I have seen where maybe one or two items would be uncharged, but not half the menu. Four courses was a lot of food. We had an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. Good timing on the delivery of each course. Did not feel rushed. The restaurant was busy but they had a lot of staff so everything seemed to flow well. We really like Ray's, but I am not sure we would go to another price fixe meal again. With a bottle of wine, it got a bit expensive for two people in my opinion."

  • "Having dined at Ray's on the Creek many times since it opened, it is my "go to" location for a special evening. That's why I made Valentine's Day reservations with my fiancée. Sadly, the service on this occasion was uncharacteristically poor. Perhaps the restaurant overbooked. In any event, I was extremely disappointed."

  • "The new Rays on the Creek is a gem. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing! We had been there before and the noise level was so high we had to literally scream at each other across the table. This time we went on Sunday evening and enjoyed the complete experience."
