For your wine glass, our cellar is stocked with premium vintages — Caymus and Jordan, Opus One, and Mondavi Reserve to name a few. Our list includes an extensive reserve section and 50 labels that are served by the glass.

Tying it all together is a professional wait staff, many of which have been with us for 5+ years. Genuine and attentive, each server personifies Ray’s on the Creek’s dedication to having a great time eating out.

  • "we went to Killer Creek for the Lobster Fest. Nicole greeted our group by name, and seated us at a great table. Then our server, Katrina took over and made the evening special. Katrina recognized us from our previous visit and even remembered our drink orders. We had the Lobster special and for dessert the praline and ice cream. Very enjoyable evening and looking forward to returning for the Lobster buffet Saturday August 2. Thanks Nicole and Katrina for making our evening special."

  • "We have been to Ray's twice, once for a graduation party and once for our 29th wedding anniversary. Both times were a great experience. Great food, great service, We had a blast both times, our graduation (7 people) and our anniversary (private and intimate) were perfect. Festive atmosphere, great food. We also went to the bar after both times and there was a great entertainer, with a fantastic voice and great play list. The bartender gave us sample of various whiskey's, which led to more great fun by all!."

  • "We've recently started going to Ray's again. The meals and service have always been good. The inside atmosphere is elegant as you'd expect from a restaurant in this price range. Their outside deck is unique for the area because it overlooks a wooded area instead of a street or parking lot as typical in north Fulton, but we were a little disappointed this time in the outdoor dining area. Whereas the inside is elegant, the outside seemed unkempt as if it was of a lower priority than the inside. Considering the unique setting, I wish they would keep the outside nicely appointed and maintained similar to the inside. We have not eaten outside in a long time and don't remember this problem last time. Maybe we caught them on a bad day."

  • "My wife and I had our wedding anniversary here, since this is where I proposed to her. I read reviews since it had been a year since we were here last. I had read some that weren't good so I was a little timid. Our experience was really good. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were really enjoyable. I will absolutely be back. I thought the staff did a really good job to make our dining experience great."

  • "It's been a while since we've been to Rays. Consider myself a foodie. Walked in a really nice place. Staff very nice but slow/spotty service. Specialty drink we had far from special. Salads and gumbo was pretty good. Trout and grits flavorless. Looked nice and big portion but no taste. Noticed table next to us barely ate theirs also. Ribeye deMonaco was okay but nothing special. Neat place with nice staff. Service slow/spotty with ok food but for the price you pay not on par with other places in Roswell/Alpharetta."

  • "This was my second visit in about 6 weeks as I had two gift cards. The first time was good, but not great. Took too much time to be seated even thought there was plenty of room. The second time was nearly flawless. Three of us and all finished every bite including the appetizer."

  • "We invited out-of-town guests to meet us at Killer Creek. Although we have had two bad meals there in the past month, we remember a fabulous dining experience at this restaurant three years ago and keep coming back, hoping that our bad experiences have been flukes. They weren't. We were embarrassed and frustrated to have "treated" our friends to the poor, overpriced meal we received. Management must have changed, as this is nowhere near the level of food/service as Ray's on the River. My Caesar salad was whole leaves of romaine with shaved Parmesan and a blob of dressing. I sent it back. My lobster was uncleaned, cold and overcooked. My friend's salad was terrible. The crabcakes were burned. Our server didn't check on us. We're done."

  • "Ray's was one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, our last two visits were big disappointments. Although the food is still excellent the service has deteriorated. We had to ask the manager for bread since our server did not bring it. We had to ask for our water to be refilled. The lack of good service ruined our meal and we probably won't go back."

  • "I have always enjoyed this restaurant. I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here years ago. I was disappointed when my husband and I dined there a couple of days ago. We just didn't think the pricey food tasted very good. After about half my dinner, I just didn't want anymore. I had scallops with lobster risotto. The scallops were undercooked and the risotto was pasty. My husband did enjoy his pork chop more, but still found it not worthy of the price tag. I had lemon panna cotta for dessert, and the flavor was delicious. But it was so dense (like a mound of mostly dried glue) that I wondered if it had been left over & dried from the previous day. I have had a number of good experiences here, so hopefully this was just an off night."

  • "Food was good, the ambience was quite pleasant, and the staff was friendly. Our reservation was for 12n, and the server that greeted us, took our drink order and told us about the brunch buffet was nice. As the time passed 12:30, my husband said he wanted to order a bloody mary. Try as I may, I could not get the attention of "our" server. Other staff had removed plates during the meal before this, but now no one. By 1pm, we decided to request the check, and skip the drink. A young lady that had cleared plates once during the meal came to the table, and we asked if she could get our check. She pulled it from her pocket. Was she our waitress and not the server that had started our meal?? I thought server was rude, but she wasn't ours."

  • "We booked a same day reservation for two for 7:30. We arrived on time and hungry. The very friendly hostesses told us they were running behind and that we should sit at the bar until they told us our table was ready. 30 minutes later we flagged down a manager to tell them we had 7:30 reservations. His reply was simply: "Okay" with a "what do you want me to about it?" tone. I told him that it was now 8:00. He then went to the hostess stand and came to say, "They have been trying to text you, your table is ready. We paid for our drinks and then waited ten more minutes before the hostess found us. Our waitress was nice, but the food quality was sub par for our $100 meal. My steak was burned and my wife's tuna was nothing special."

  • "We have dined at Rays Killer Creek several times, and most have been very good experiences. Not this one. Service was very slow. Waitress disappeared. Had to ask for bread, which took 20 minutes to show up. Food was warm, not hot. Steak overcooked, which maybe could have been corrected if anyone ever checked on the table. Waitress never came with check, sent someone else, who never came to collect. We left cash. Given the prices, this was very disappointing. Rays has built up some good will with us thru the years, so we will go back at some point, but it will not be soon."

  • "The food and service was very god with one exception. I ordered a side item substitution for my entrée that came with 2 sides. One standard side was not delivered and my substitution request was not honored. After speaking to the waiter, two sides were delivered very quickly. Other than that, a very solid mid-price restaurant."

  • "This was the third time going to Ray's At Killer Creek, and it was amazing yet again. Me and the wife went on National Bourbon Day with her mom and dad. Me and her dad are big bourbon drinkers and all of the bourbon was half off, so we had a good time. Also on of the managers was a bourbon enthusiast as well and was telling us a lot of back stories to some of the bourbons that we where drinking. We had a great time and we will be back."

  • "Our impression of the new Rays on the Creek is that is a downgraded restaurant from its earlier status. We found the noise level with live band to be distracting, service slow, and some of the menu items to not be attractive or tasty. Best items remain the steaks and other beef. Fish special overpriced, others not impressive."

  • "Overall the evening was degraded by service that was slow, un-even (all the front end staff crowded into the bar to watch the Bellmont Stakes horse race) leaving the house empty for 10 minutes, and at times sloppy (the runner dropped the bread accompanying the mussels) and while he apologized, it took close to 20 minutes to get more bread. For a restaurant at this price point- it is not what you should expect or receive. What was also quite surprising was that we (along with all the other patrons dining @ 18:30) were seated in one corner of the of the restaurant. So this exacerbated the slow service "

The French Onion soup was way too salty. The small filet was just ok. Prices over $30 per entre for the quality was rediculous."

  • "My wife & I were married at then-"Ray's Killer Creek," so we return at least once/year for our anniversary; re: which I notified the restaurant via Open Table. The experience has become increasingly more disappointing each year. In the past we have gotten some acknowledgment of our past patronage, e.g. complimentary champagne. This year no mention was made until I got a follow-up telephone call the next day. The service was also rather poor. We ordered an appetizer & salads to go with our dinner. After the appetizer, our entrees were brought out by someone other than our server (John?), whom we had not seen in a while; e.g. to order more drinks. No salad.We arrived a bit early, & each ordered a glass of wine while waiting in the bar."

  • "We have dined at Ray's numerous times and always ask if there is a special. The server told us about a salmon special, which my husband ordered. When the bill came we were shocked to see the price of the salmon was $48! Although the salmon was good, $48 was a lot to pay for an entree. With such a high priced special, the server should have made sure she told us prior to ordering. We mentioned this to the server, and a manager did come over to speak with us. He was extremely nice, but did not offer to make any adjustments. Possibly a discount on a future meal would have been nice. Be wary of the specials."

  • "This was a special dinner with my Godson and his good friend while I was visiting the Atlanta area. It was Memorial Day and didn't realize our reservation was the last before the kitchen closed. The restaurant was ver accommodating about our late arrival and we had a marvelous dinner of Copper River Salmon and crab cakes. Well prepared and we shared a peanut butter cheesecake for dessert. I even got a follow-up phone call asking about our experience. Will definitely return next trip. "

  • "Whereas our waiter was quite personable and friendly to us, it was either his first night waiting tables or he was a bit "off". We ordered drinks and he brought my friend a tea with no sweetener. He took our order but the slip "got lost" so he had to come back to confirm the order. Good thing it was a slow night or he may not have remembered our order. The bread came out 3/4 of the way through the meal. Like I said, first night jitters or an off night, we all have them but made for a not perfect experience. "

  • "I have been to Ray's for dinner several times - each time hosting my customers visiting from out of town. Ray's has consistently had great food and service and have never let me down. The prices can be a bit high, but you get what you pay for. They are very accommodating and flexible with the food preparation/sides too. One note of caution - the appetizer platters are large and pricey, so only order those if you have a large table and really want what they include. "

  • "I have heard great things about Ray's. I was a little disappointed. I ordered the three course dinner. Heirloom tomato salad, pan seared halibut and PBJ Cheesecake for desert. The Heirloom tomatoes were actually cherry tomatoes. I was not impressed. The halibut was prepared well but the sauce and risotto was over buttered and mushy. The Cheesecake was the most disappointing of all. It certainly capped off the meal in a negative fashion. It was poorly presented and the worse tasting cheesecake that I have ever tasted. On the positive, my companion ordered the Filet Mignon Trio and thought the dish was prepared well."

  • "We didn't realize when we made reservations that this was the Sunday they started their Sunday brunch, but t turned out fantastic. My wife stayed with the lunch side and the carved prime rib was tender and juicy. Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. I went more of the breakfast route with cheese blintzes and chicken sausage, both were good. The sausage had just the right heat to it and were very flavorful. Not the huge selection as Rays on the River but at $19.95 you don't have to wait for a special occasion here. "
