The service was very good. It was a quiet Tuesday evening prior to Thanksgiving. The noise can be a problem sometimes, but on this evening it was better. The food was very good. However, not every item was piping hot. The entrée was perfect but one of the sides was barely warm. We always enjoy this restaurant.

Menu was limited, and the menu got more limited when items on menu were not available. Pricing was high for the caliber of food. Had Happy hour sign up and then after ordering drinks to beat time limit we were told that is only M-F. SIgn should not have been up at all.

Visited Ray's Killer Creek for both the Sunday brunch and more recently for a business lunch. The brunch was bounteous and well prepared. For lunch, the grilled trout and mac + cheese were just outstanding. Servers on both occasions were attentive and prompt.

Ordered a NY steak. Asked for Medium, but turned out to be a rare steak. Waited someone to come over for a long time. The waitress took it back, and bring back with a "look like" medium cook steak. Flip the steak around, the steak is burned around the side. After that, one one came to the table to check on me again even thought I looked at them. Seems like they know they did something wrong and afraid to come over again. Felt terribly disappointed for paying a $50 meal with such a terrible service and food.

Not what I expected from a Ray's Restaurant. We had to send a steak back twice due to undercooking and when it came back the second time it was still undercooked. Restaurant did take it off the bill. Gumbo was tepid at best and the overall food quality wasn't anything close to expectations.

I expected a better quality steak. We went around 5:30 to beat the rush. we were seated quickly but then a large party came in and the service went down hill fast. The sharpest knife at the table took a lot of work to cut the prime rib. clearly disappointed.

wait staff was very attentive, trying to make up for the slow kitchen. When the entrees came out, two fish meals were undercooked, one requiring two more trips to the kitchen. Waitress tried to warn me about the brussel sprouts, but I didn't expect them to taste like they had fermented for several days. Pork chop was a little dry. Will have to stick with the usual selections.

The food was good, however when the waiter brought our check out to the table of 4 that's when our nice time took a turn. The waiter was very sharp when he was asked to split the ticket since we err paying separately. The waiter grab the receipt holder and stormed off to obtain what was asked of him. Moments later he came back with even more to say about how inconvenient it was for him to split a bill after he had already printed the receipt. I was speechless at his behavior, although the food was good I may not visit again. Lost customer.

We go to Ray's Killer Creek on special occasions and have never been disappointed. The food and service have always been first-rate. On this visit, the parmesan grouper and the sea bass were pan-seared (at our server's suggestion) and were both outstanding. The Yukon gold mashed potatoes were to die for and the carrot cake was plenty for two to share. It wasn't inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

I love Rays on Killer Creek there was someway to also order off the regular menus as many other restaurants do The selection for the buffet was good. Many foods were not properly hot even after the buffet had been open for an hour (grits, eggs, coups, gravy - to mention a few. Went back an hour later and it was slightly better but still could have used more heat. Surprised at the limited fresh fruit selection. My husband enjoyed the dessert choices.

My wife and I have been to Ray’s multiple times for special occasions and have never been disappointed. We were there this weekend for a date night and had the pleasure of being served by Katrina. Katrina has waited on us before, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She has such a positive and friendly personality that shines through with every interaction. Additionally, she’s very attentive and knowledgeable of the wine and food choices. The atmosphere and food by themselves are enough to keep us coming back to Ray’s, but Katrina makes the experience wonderful and memorable. I recommend dining at Ray’s for any special occasion or business meeting and highly recommend asking for Katrina when you go.

There were 5 of us for dinner. The slowest and poorest service ever from the wait staff. Small portions for dinner entrees and food was just OK and not worth the price. We had to ask for silverware, appetizer plates were removed before we were done. Salt and Pepper removed from table before we got our entrees. Ordered a bottle of wine and it did not show up until we asked about it. Dessert was good. Praline basket was outstanding. The pecan cheesecake was also outstanding. This is definitely not Ray's on the River. I would not return to this Ray's location.

Killer Creek has always done well in the food department. Their steaks are legendary and though I opted for chicken this time, my associate had a steak and raved about it. There's entertainment in the bar, and probably because it is a pretty active bar, the volume of the music was just too much if you happened to sit close to the performer. The volume was probably great at the other end of the bar, but unless you're there for a concert, bar music should be in the background, not blaring over your conversation.

I took my family to Rays at Killer Creek for Sunday brunch. I have been to all of the other Rays locations and have never been disappointed and expected no less here. Needless to say, the food was great, service was great and the view was great (however, I have yet to see the killer creek) but that was ok. I will definitely be returning, especially since its closer to my house. Loved it!!!!

We had a phenomenal experience. We were visiting Alpharetta from out-of-state and decided to try Ray's Killer Creek for dinner. We started our experience speaking with the friendly hostess, who had a great personality. We were immediately drawn to the music coming from the lounge. There was live music by a performer named David Payton. He was extremely talented! We stayed for a few songs prior to being seated at a booth in the main dining area, where a young lady named Christian took great care of us. We had a special request for the blue cheese chips which she accommodated with ease. The scallops were delicious as we'll. We went back to the lounge for more music by David Payton. The entire evening was truly memorable.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff at Ray's, it's an upscale restaurant with very responsive and positive staff. However, the food quality was a major disappointment, especially for the prices. Grand total with tip for 2 people with 2 entrees and a single glass of wine was $91.86 only to be served food that can be best described as "Applebees Seafood". For the quality of the food we were served, it should be 1/2 the price we paid. I'll check this restaurant off my list as "tried it" but we'll never return.
