The food was beautifully presented and tasted exquisite as always. But beyond that, the service really sets this place apart. The servers, sommelier, bar tender, etc are all polite, friendly and knowledgable. To top it off, Jeremy Charles himself came out at the end if the night and walked around to each table to talk with diners and thank them for coming. He was gracious and humble. I simply cannot wait to go again. The service was both friendly and impeccable, the food was a gastronomic delight, and the wines were wonderful. We recommend the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairing; don't let the price put you off, as it is worth every penny. The food was superb, service was exceptional, atmosphere was a perfect place to end a special day! We didn't expect anything less as we had been there several times before and each time has been equally wonderful. We were on time seated quickly, and then it went downhill from there.
For a high end restaurant the service was poor. It took forever to get and drinks ordered, then forever to get it. We went with the 5 course meal with wine pairing, and the time between the courses was ridiculously long ! The Sommelier was uninterested to say the least and seemed to just go through the motions.
