We had 4 people for a birthday party. The staff not only allowed us to bring in dessert (cheesecake is not on their menu), they let us leave after dinner, tour the Wild West town, and return for dessert. Trust me the 45 min - 1 hour break was needed. The food was all excellent with generous portions. Each entree comes with a salad, rolls, and 2 sides. Parking is $5, the town tour is free, games and the show are extra. Dinner will run you $25 - $30 per person. We will be back.

Food was OK. Waiter was very nice and was working hard but we waited an hour for our order. The restaurant was not that crowded so it may have been understaffed for such a long wait. Food was a bit pricy and was just ok. Enjoyed the magician who came to the table to do magic for the kids.

For the price points the food was O.K. Nothing to write home about. There was an event there so they charged for parking...and entry charge for dinning???? Not a good first impression. Will not be going back. There are other steak house with better price points and better steaks and no charge for parking.

As expected, it's essentially a theme park restaurant with the prices to match. The wait staff worked hard but it took 15 min to get anything you asked for (extra plate, refill...). But the food was good. Great ribeye, good ribs. Portions were large. Overall it was expensive but decent. I wouldn't make a special trip just for the restaurant, but since we were spending the evening at the park, wouldn't have been worth it to leave and go someplace else for dinner.

  • Not liking the change

The redecoration is nice, but...the new menu with the major increase in prices is not good. Before going to the Rawhide I looked at the menu online which apparently was the old menu, the menu I really enjoyed. When I got there I was presented with a new menu and much higher steak prices and smaller cuts. The quality of the steak went downhill. I ordered a filet mignon which came out dry. I asked if there is new management as I did notice half of the staff and management were Asian....very different change from the past few years. I was told the owners were the same. Raising the prices in the steakhouse, when the Rawhide ghost town appears to be struggling for business is probably not a good idea.

The food was fair. The rooms were huge and you had to travel to get to the brunch room. The price of $ 34.95 did not even include orange juice or coffee. Very expensive for what you get. The western motif looks fake. To go to the gun fight you had to pay extra. TURIST TRAP.

We went here because we were staying at the nearby Sheraton. The food was good, not great. My steak was a little overcooked, but the rest of our group was happy with theirs. The sides were unremarkable. The decor was somewhat western, but I was surprised to see that the interior was just one very large room with a LOT of tables. No interior walls, separation, etc. felt odd and not "western-feeling". By far the best part of our meal was the roving magician that came to our table. He was outstanding and the kids loved him! This would be a good restaurant for a large family/group, as the setup enabled them to accommodate many large parties at a time.

We made a quick visit to Rawhide for visiting guests from Michigan. It had been years since we have been to the town or restaurant. The food was great - service was very attentive - the town was a bit disappointing. Many of the shops were closed and there was not many of the characters or gunfights in the street. Overall - food good - town needs some added items.

I haven't been to the new Rawhide since they had moved from Scottsdale to Chandler. My son was celebrating his 25th Birthday and we decided to go as a family to the town and for dinner. I really enjoy the town and the shops but it is definately a Tourist Attraction with the prices to match. The Food was Good, The Service was Decent and the Music was fun if you enjoy Old Country. My main problem was the dining room isn't very handicapped friendly as I use an electric chair and the tables are very close together so you are very close back to back to the table behind you and when you add the servers trying to walk inbetween there is absolutely no room. All in all a good night though. If you go plan on spending $$$$.

Both my husband and I had prime rib. My husband ordered medium well, I ordered medium. His entrée was undercooked and was more suited to medium, mine was overcooked. My husband returned his and when the plate came back out, the Texas toast was soggy from au jus. The corn was tough. There was no corn bread. Our waiter remarked how he wasn't ready for the dinner crowd. He had at least two tables and was getting a table of 30 as we were finishing up. That pretty much signaled that we were not getting any further service. All in all, I was not impressed.

This was not first time here. I have been to Rawhide many times and it is always wonderful. The staff is great! My husband and I were married here 15 years ago this month and we thought it would be great to come back and bring our two young kids to enjoy an Arizona gem. To enjoy the attractions, you will need either tickets ($5 each) or a wristband ($15 per person and it is unlimited times). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun afternoon or evening out with family and friends! The food is great and the fried Rattlesnake is a must try!

My friend and I recently went to Rawhide for dinner because they had heard good things and wanted to try it out. The cocktails were mixed properly and tasted great. My friend ordered a steak Rare(blue) as in cooked as little as the chef was willing to cook it. The steak was brought out too cooked to be called rare, let alone very rare. We politely asked the server for his opinion on weather or not it was considered rare. The waiter agreed that it was overcooked and took the steak back. They brought out another steak (which mysteriously looked like the exact same steak with the exact same shape and cut in the middle) slightly more cooked. We wouldn't touch the steak and it wasn't taken off of the bill. We won't be going back.

We dined on Saturday night following Thanksgiving. There was a very talented musician playing guitar and singing which made it a little loud, but we enjoyed watching the younger children dance on the dance floor. The highlight, though, was the magician that stopped at our table for about 10 minutes of awesome tricks. I'd go back again when we have more time to spend at Rawhide itself.
