We went for lunch and the food was amazing and the people were friendly. We visited some other wineries and the staff at Ravine are by far the friendliest people, in both the restaurant and the tasting house. We had a great time and will return soon!

Overall, we had an enjoyable evening at Ravine. We had an early reservation so we were seated at a window with a very nice view of the vineyards. Service was prompt and attentive. We were always able to get our servers attention but he was intuitive enough to know when to leave us on our own. We had the soup special and charcuterie as appetizers - very good. Charcuterie is plenty to share between 2 people. If we come back, we'd like to try an afternoon by the pizza oven.

Our group started a mini Niagara wine-tour with lunch at Ravine. We were seated in the covered patio, which afforded us a great view of the vineyards, yet still protected us from the inclement weather. For starters, we shared two charcuterie plates (4 or 5 different cuts, a few cheese morsels, plus pate mousse and cauliflower chutney), which hit the spot (the fresh baguette, with whipped butter and sea salt, was a great base for all the goodies). The mains (pizza, burger, penne, trout) were all fresher/better than your standard bistro fares, and paired nicely with the reasonably priced Sand & Gravel white and red blends. All in all, it was a great start to our wine-tour, which comprised of hour-long sessions at Tawse & Pearl Morissette.

We had a couple of friends highly recommend Ravine to us. We were not disappointed with their recommendations. being a small winery they have some really interesting wines that are not available in the LCBO. The scallops we both had for appetizer are a MUST and the steak and lamb were also delicious. If you are in the area, definitely check it out, you will not be disappointed.

We were greeted by a friendly and customer service oriented hostess, who provided tickets for a complimentary wine tasting as our table was not ready. Our tasting was hosted by Mike, who provided good insight into the variety of wines. Once in the dining area, we were seated by the window and had the opportunity to enjoy a most delicious meal that was complimented by very quaff-able wines. The red pepper tart is not to be missed. Nor is the chicken leg confit!!

We were a party of 4 and three of us loved our meals. One of our party did not enjoy his lamb. It was cooked to his liking ...rare but for some reason he did not find the meat to his liking. We all had the broccoli soup which was excellent and we shared a cobbler dessert. This is the second time I have visited Ravine ad I would recommend it to foodie friends and I would visit again.

I went to this winery for lunch with my two very best friends. We had pizza and wine. The stone fired pizza was good...not great but good. Dessert was excellent made with peaches which was the seasonal fruit. The wines we chose were very good...the white was very light and refreshing for a hot summer day and the red Meritage was nice to relax to after lunch. Our waitress was a gem and very knowledgeable. The only downside were the few wasps that would bother us while the pizza was on the table. We sat on the patio and had a great view of the vineyards. We will definitely return again to this fabulous spot.

We ate here on a Friday night and the whole place was very vibrant. We had the Foie Gras and the Charcuterie Platter for the appetizers. The Foie Gras was good but the real star is the Charcuterie Platter. This is all home cured and contained smoked duck breasts, fried pigs ears, tongue, and a couple of different salamis served with homemade kimchi, grain mustard and toasts. It was all excellent - even the crunchy fries strips of pig's ears. The pork is made from pigs reared at the vineyard. For main course we had the blackened pickerel and the lamb loin with blue cheese gallette - both were excellent. The only disappointment was the deserts (Grasshopper Pie & Peach Trio) were not quite as good as the other courses. Will visit again.

My wife, my daughter, my sister and brother in law came for dinner at this lovely restaurant. It is such a beautiful rustic, but elegant setting, in their vineyard. So nice to have the floor to ceiling windows so that you can see the grape vines while you eat and drink their fabulous wine. The food was truly amazing, the cornish game hens (4 of us had them) were done to perfection and the bed of pasta was beyond delicious. My daughters pickerel was too salty for her taste and the waiter removed it from the bill, without hesitation! This is a sign of a truly professional restauarant and staff, beautiful recovery folks! Thank you very much for a memorable experience

Dinner began fine, lovely view overlooking the vineyard; menu offering a great selection. The restaurant didn't have the wine we want from the winelist, but offer an inferior selection. As we are finishing our main dishes, the lights go out! It became like one of those "no light" dining experiences. Our server told us the main restaurant was empty so they closed it. BUT there were still 3 tables outside. It's 9:15 and the restaurant isn't scheduled to close until 11! She then tells us that she can't give us a candle because the only butane lighter they have is in the wine tasting area that closed at 8:00. We'd already ordered dessert and we fumbled through it. Without the offer of an after-dinner coffee or liqueur, we got the bill.

The staff in the wine room gave us the good feeling that was continued in the dining room. The small menu was well done and we enjoyed everything. The pacing of the meal might have been a little better. We were out of there in an hour and a half. But it was one of our favorite meals and visits in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area.

After visiting Treadwell Farms the night before we had high expectations. The ambiance of the place is fantastic, ask for a patio seat or a table inside will also do! Live music helped to make the scenery even more breathtaking. As for the food, it is great quality (local, fresh) but too safe. The menu combinations were too predictable and the dessert menu is not adventurous. Service was also much more relaxed than I would have expected. This restaurant has great potential, but needs new innovation for the menu. Its great to feature good quality Ontario steak/lamb/fish, but pair it with interesting combos to make it to the next level!

The atmosphere, ambiance, food and service were excellent. It felt like we knew our server for years! The country setting, vineyards and food felt like a romantic movie setting! It started with an amazing whipped butter with sea salt spread for our fresh French bread. Then our stove oven marguerite pizza came. The tomato sauce on the pizza was so good, we literally savoured each slice as if we never had pizza pizza before. We had no room for dessert yet the lemon cheese cake with blueberry compote and vanilla creme fresh found it's way on the table for sharing. After a 5 minute spoon war we had nothing but smiles on our face. We're customers for life!

Ravine is one of our favourite restaurants in the Niagara region. We had the foie gras and I had the lamb, which was delicious. Again we took my 93 year old Mother in law to Ravine and she had a wonderful time, especially since the young lady who served us the first time we went remembered her. That totally completed her day. She lives in a retirement home and doesn't get out much, so this treat for her made her year. Of course the little wine tasting after lunch didn't hurt either!!! We were disappointed in the food and service. The 4 of us shared the charcuterie platter. It featured a variety of cured meats, quail egg, pate and nuts. There were 3 pieces of toasted bread on the platter. I thought they could have given us 4, since there were 4 people. I had the heirloom tomato salad. It was good, but there were miniscule spots of pesto and balsamic reduction on the plate. I wanted more of that to dip the tomatoes in! 3 of us had the blackened pickerel. The spice was way too salty, and there was way too much of it!! Could hardly taste the fish! My friend had the lamb, and it was too tough to finish. We planned to order dessert, but the waiter took so long to come back for our order that we decided not to. View was nice

Reservations a must. Dined at a wonderful table outside with a view of the vineyard. Shared the brick oven pizza which offered a unique sweetness and smokiness. Luckily we decided to share the strawberry cobbler with buttermilk ice cream and ginger cookes for dessert. The warmth of the strawberries with pistachio topping intermingled with buttermilk was a joy to the taste buds. Dont overlook on the menu. The service was relaxed and attentive. Overall a perfect afternoon in the vineyard to enjoy a glass of wine and the natural beauty of the escarpment.

Our second visit and it won't be our last. We visit Niagara - a 4-5 hour trip - once or twice a year and though there are plenty of awesome restaurants to choose from, we knew we had to return, and will again. Casual, relaxed atmosphere in a lovely location overlooking Ravine's vineyards. Service is friendly, but professional. All food and wine produced either on site or close by. The menu is varied, imaginative and takes advantage of the fresh bounty available. Ravine has a bakery, produces its' own pork for - wonderful charcuterie board! - and boasts a wood fire oven for fresh, thin crust pizza. I have not been disappointed with anything I've ordered here, and the wines are very good too!

Most welcoming entrance to a restaurant one could hope for. Walking up the steps a young man opened the door to greet us. Inside the restaurant, a young friendly hostess took our reservation details and brought us to seating to await our table and gave us menus to look at. After just a few minutes we were seated. Slight delay in taking our drink order by otherwise excellent service from the server. Restaurant was full but not overtly loud. Its 3 walls are glass so you get a nice view of the gardens/vineyard. Rather sparse otherwise so at nightfall there is little ambiance. Our starters were the foie gras and a scallop/bacon dish. Superb. Mains we both had the lamb sirloin; dessert was strawberry pistacchio cobbler. Super in every way
