"Good food and good, but not perfect, service, but far too expensive. I have eaten in some of the finest restaurants in the world, yet never paid such a price. If you order a special, don't be afraid to ask how much. $190 for two entrees is obscene."

"It was a date night for my self and my girl friend and to be honest another steak slash asian bistro was not on our minds for the evening. But Rare650 delivered far more than our initial expectation.The atmosphere is very lively and energetic, but for some privacy Rare650 takes advantage of their upper level area, where the sounds from the first level, are noticeable but not over powering. Rares wine list carries not only some notable wines for a novices wine drinker but some very serious contenders for those who have a more developed palate as well, with a highly knowledgeable staff finding a perfect taste profile for those who desire to expand their current knowledge will not be an issue. Perfect for any date night, or a night of fun."

"Once inside the restaurant, there was no hostess to be found. My date and I sought a server, and he was able to seat us for our 9:30 reservation. Ambiance was top-notch, but the service, while decent, was not polished enough. Servers seemed really casual so not the classiest of service. The food was excellent. My date enjoyed four very good sushi rolls. I had a crab cake as an appetizer and the16 oz bone-in filet as my entree. They were both excellent. Since my date doesn't drink much, we opted to have one cocktail each. With gratuity, our dinner was $300. If I had gotten a bottle of wine like I usually do, our tab would have easily been $500. Make sure you bring a fat wallet!"
