A word from Rao's - Caesars Palace Las Vegas
The home-cooked meals at Rao’s Las Vegas are magnificent culinary experiences worthy of the Review-Journal’s multiple “Best Las Vegas Italian Restaurant” awards. The time-honored dishes include perfectly cooked pastas, risottos and the mouthwatering steak bistecca; cooked perfectly and sliced tableside. Rao’s Las Vegas Italian restaurant also serves the incomparable Uncle Vincent’s Lemon Chicken, broiled to perfection and sauced with lemon juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil and spices. The classic veal chop is pan-seared and topped with a medley of hot and sweet cherry peppers. Last but not least, Rao’s legendary meatballs taste as if Aunt Anna were still rolling them each morning. Whichever you choose, you are sure to have a Las Vegas restaurant experience worthy of the fine dining legacy Rao’s Las Vegas has established over the last century.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "Excellent as always. There were six of us. I was the only diner that experienced Rays previously. All of us had a great time."

  • "We ordered the lamb and the ravioli - and had a side of meatballs. Waiter was great and not pushy. Food had depth to the taste and with the bottle of red wine was a good meal. Needed a touch more light as it was fairly dark in the room."

  • "Our family ate at Rao's in celebration of my 50th birthday. The staff were courteous and fun and created a great and memorable experience for our whole family. Thank you and high praise and recommendations for anyone considering Italian food."

  • "The food was excellent. Each time we try something different. The buffalo mozzarella in the caprese was so fresh it tasted like it was made that day. The marinara sauce was bright and full of flavor. Service was top notch!"

  • "Meatballs too soft for me! Tasted more like Matzoh Balls! Gelato just average...not impressed!!!"

  • "I heard so many good things about this restaurant in New York City but the one in Vegas was not. The pasta dishes were ok but salty, the pork dish was dry and the portions are small."

  • "The best meatballs that I have ever eaten. The waiters are very professional. They are eager to help you. I had a very relaxed feeling while dining."

  • "Have dined here several times and commented on the noise level. Nothing has changed. Food is outstanding, service is good, but the noise is just too much for us anymore. Sad, but not likely to return."

  • "Great food and service. Food portions were large enough to share. We ordered 3 pasta dishes and two meet dishes and share between 7 people. We all had plenty and they made sharing very easy. Delicious !"

  • "I heard about Raos in New York and was glad to try the Las Vegas restaurant. The Purse Pasta was my favorite and was like an entrée and dessert combined. Also had the cheese cake. A great place for any occasion."

  • "The food is, as they say, like Momma used to make, if your momma was a red sauce expert and a great cook (as my grandmother was). I have eaten here on several trips to Las Vegas and it has never disappointed with its tasty and authentic southern Italian fare. There is no shortage of Italian restaurants in this town but I am not taking this one out of my dining rotation."

  • "I'm sorry to say the food was not up to par for the price point. Decent service and ambiance. But did not enjoy the meal."

  • "FOOD, SERVICE, AMBIANCE --- SO MUCH FUN, we have been here before while in vegas on business and will be back!"

  • " Knowing we will never be able to get a table at the Rao's in NYC, we were happy to learn that we could have a meal at the Rao's at the Caesar's Las Vegas. My husband and I shared the house salad which they split for us and came cold and crispy. My "Uncle Vincent's lemon chicken" was just as I had hoped for: melt in your mouth tender, flavorful, with just the right amount of lemon. My husband had the pasta special with broccoli and sausages tossed with olive oil and garlic. He enjoyed it but later felt that he should have tried the meatballs. The peas with onion and pancetta was divine. Chianti delicious, service attentive. Request a booth inside."

  • "My husband and I had really looked forward to a great meal but we were disappointed with the food"

  • "It is impossible to get into Rao's in NY, so I go to Rao's in Las Vegas every chance I get. Te food is always fabulous, as is the service. This time did not disappoint. Thanks!"

  • "Great food, like Rao's in New York. Only issue is that they won't do separate checks, so difficult to divide up bill at the end of the meal - which leaves a bad taste in your mouth."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "It was an odd experience with the Christmas decor in June. The food was decent but not the best Italian I've ever had. The server was constantly yelling so we could actually hear her. It wasn't the experience we expected but it filled our bellies."
    Dined on 6/20/2014
  • "Rao's at Caesar's is simply the best Italian food you can get in Vegas. It's not cheap by any means but if you want the best...go to Rao's. We ordered the Caesar salad, pasta bolognese, meatballs and finally the veal parm on the bone. Two of us shared this feast fit for a king at a cost of $200 with tip and 2 drinks."

  • "Italian restaurant at Caesar's Palace. Fine dining complete with wine sommelier. The spaghetti bolonese was fabulous. Wife and daughter both had the pear and ricotta purses which were unusual and outstanding. Fairly expensive though. About $300 for four diners. Lots of business people."

  • "I have never been able to get into the NY location so it was a treat to finally dine at a Rao's. Great food and lovely ambiance. Would recommend."
    Dined on 6/18/2014
  • "We had a lovely dinner at Rao's: Excellent service, delicious food, and an outstanding wine list. However, you will pay extra for the Vegas Strip/Caesar's Palace location. Tab for two, including one salad, two entrees, a side of vegetables and three drinks was about $200 (with 20% tip). No problem if you are doing well at the tables, but not everyday dining for most people."
    Dined on 6/17/2014
  • "Highly disappointing. Food was oversalted, flavor not impactful and generic menu. Specials were salmon and a rigatoni with brocoli in an olive oil and garlic sauce. These are things a diner could prepare! I had high expectations for our dinner, and it failed on every degree."
    Dined on 6/17/2014
  • "Very tasty food. Kind of what your Italian mom or uncle would make. Not your typical romantic Italian restaurant. Meatballs are great and so is uncle Vincent's chicken."

  • "Having lived N. Prov. Rhode Island.which is 90% Italian the food was excellent yours truly D B"

  • "We went to Rao's for Father's Day and it was a lovely restaurant with very good food. However, our server, even though she was nice and cordial was not very accommodating about making substitutions or changing a sauce for us. She mentioned that the restaurant's recipe's are authentic and should not be changed, however, the Chef was willing to do it anyway but we had to be extra persuasive to the server to do it. Also, we didn't care for the loud noise level of music in the restaurant and the music did not fit the ambience. I felt like we were in a nightclub or concert. We did get a couple of complimetary drinks which was very nice! I would still recommend it but would warn people about the very loud music."

  • "We were looking forward to another nice dinner. We had a great dinner at Gordon Ramsey Steak. We waited do long for attention, I finally had to ask "when are we getting something to eat?" It was embarrassing since we told our friends it would be another great dinner. When we finally got our food, it was very disappointing. The food was cool, (not hot). And we were afraid yo send it back. The fish was good, the rest...mediocre, at best. I will not return!"

  • "I was looking for a restaurant with hand prepared Italian food and was all processed. It tasted like it was pasta from a box. food Waiters kept circling our table to try and clear and was annoying. I was really disappointed."

  • "Food and cocktails were outstanding. Ambiance fair, bordered on being unacceptably loud at times."
