I took nine people as guest to Pasta night, service was good. e found the salad table better than previous years, All of us found the pasta was lacking. Most were like soup, noodles in a soup. The chef were very busy and needed a third. I found they were listening to your request probably because they were over worked. There portion for protein was small. They changed the prawns, scallops and sausage, I assume to save money, the quality of these items were poor. We will give it one more chance, if it is as just as bad I we wont be back. We went to pub night on Friday to have nachos and beer, had the beer , no nachos, so had the really expensive beer and left. Just wondering why they don't have more pub food on pub night, and a special on their beer etc to bring more people in. It seems that they are trying to push people away instead of bring people in. Last year the pub food was basically the summer pub menu. I hope they rethink this if they are going to have a grey cup party.

As someone with food allergies there was an effort to accommodate my needs which in my cases, are needs and not just preferences. That was really appreciated. Our water tasted like bleach and was quickly replaced. There wasn't much though for a vegetarian let alone a vegan though so I had the arctic char which was lovely. I would choose this restaurant only rarely as the food was excellent, the ambiance welcoming and quiet but the price was 20-25% higher than I have paid for equivalent dining experiences.

we were seated and menus were provided, I wondered why the people next to me had food not on the menu I was looking at only to find out there are 2 menus, so when I asked for the all day menu the menu evening one was taken from me? Maybe give both...... We were brought bread with frozen butter that ripped the bread when spreading. To order our drink and get our drinks was too slow. I had to ask two times for my water glass to be filled up. We were asked if we would like to see the dessert menu and when we said no, the bill was dropped on the table. The food was very good but we were really disappointed in the service, your menu price point dictates top shelf service.

This was our second time here and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately they sat us beside 2 very loud tables even though the restaurant was almost empty. I asked if we could move over a couple of (empty) tables, but she said no. They were also out of our favourite cocktail and said it was because the golf season was winding down and they don't stock everything. I guess we'll have to wait till next summer to go back. Overall, good food, our server was lovely and we will return (when they're fully stocked up again).

We celebrated our anniversary up at Predator Ridge this weekend. Made reservations for the Range Lounge & Grill. Reservations for a window seating was granted. However, the food is very high priced and the food orders were not cooked as we ordered (ie: steak was ordered as medium, came out as more rare, lamb was ordered as medium rare, but came out as more medium well, etc.) We didn't care for the "blueberry mashed potatoes" that came as part of the dish, and there was very little in the way of vegetables with the entrees. Eating in the lounge instead of the restaurant might be a better option.

We stayed at the resort so this place couldn't be more convenient. We had lunch here earlier in the day and the food was good but the service was very slow. We went back for dinner and the food was excellent and the service was top notch (thanks Kevin!). We shared these crazy delicious Clams and Chorizo in a Spicy Tomato Broth. Hubby had the tenderloin which was cooked to perfection and I had the Pulled Chicken with Mushroom Pasta but I had it without the chicken and added some seasonal vegies. My portion wasn't very big for $25 but it was good. Our server, Kevin! was so friendly and efficient but didn't rush us to place our orders knowing we wanted to relax and take it easy. His timing on everything was perfect!

I took my elderly parents and cousins for the view and assumed quality food. The special (lamb) was very tough, halibut was bland, and 1/3 in our party left food on their plate as too disappointing. Very noisy. We were not informed that a pub menu was also available (and could have offered more variety.). Not likely to return for supper!

We had the seared scallops as starters. They were perfect, as was the rest of our meal. However, as the restaurant filled up, the noise level grew to the point that we just wanted to leave. We might have otherwise lingered over coffee or dessert, but chose not to due to the noise.

It was a family dinner with our two adult children and it was just the perfect venue to spend a couple of hours catching up! We ate off the lounge menu as my husband and son felt like something different then the selections on the dining room menu so it was nice to have that option. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable and pleasant and the food was delicious! We're locals and we appreciate that we have such fabulous restaurant choices in our own backyard :)

we've eaten at the Range many times in the past three years. Pub style food is always good. Excellent views of the golf course and surrounding area from the semi-open air restaurant. Wine list is decent. The Quinoa & Arugula Salad topped the smoked trout is delicious and filling. Downside: beer list is limited with little or no craft beers and the restaurant is not open year round so enjoy it when you can.

Good variety of food, I had quail asparagus salad, she had diver scallops for appies. She had lamb loin, and I had pulled chicken wild mushroom pasta. Server was knoweldgeable about the menu and was able to answer any questions I had. This is the only place I know of so far that makes pasta from scratch, which I appreciated. Entrees come with simply sauteed veg, golden beets, broccolini, heirloom squash. Server made frequent quality control checks/drink refills, although there was a long delay when it came to desert to give us the dessert menu/taking the dessert order, though to her credit the dining room filled up while we ate & I heard from a cook who I know worked there once that they do give preferential service to club members.

Service was slow, food was mediocre at best and the coffee was weak. Then the only tip option is 15% or above, not really impressed at all. I keep thinking Predator will step up to the bar and live up to their location, but year after year its a disappointing experience. Perhaps someone should make a trip to Vancouver to see what can be done with some attention to detail and delivering value for money.

Setting is lovely and service is good, however two of the four meals served were of questionable quality. First, the steak sandwich was served on a piece of bread that even the steak knife supplied would not cut through it. It looked like it had been taken off someone else's plate and spread with some butter to soften it. Mushrooms served with it should be "a mushroom" due to quantity, had the chef fried them up there would have been nothing left. BLTA was also served with stale bread, had it been toasted as are most BLTs then it would have gone unnoticed. My meal, a salad was fresh and delicious. The fourth menu item was the shrimp/fish tacos which were described as good. Golf pro visited our table where was the chef?

We sat on the patio and were seated between two very loud tables, we asked to be moved and were accommodated. I asked how big the ahi tuna salad was and the waitress informed me that although it was on the dinner menu it was not huge so we ordered an appetizer, when the salad came it was bigger than she informed us and we really didn't need an appetizer, to which she said "I guess it depends on who's in the kitchen"

Unfortunately when we arrived for our reservation at 8:00pm on August 8th, there was a power outage. We understand that these things sometimes happen and are out of your control but the customer service definitely needed improvement. When we asked our server if there was absolutely anything to eat she just said "no, the kitchen is closed". When we asked for drinks she said "no". She didn't offer any solutions or suggestions. We ended up ordering pizza which we did on our own. When we arrived for lunch on Sunday August 9th, we were seated out on the patio. Although we had a beautiful view, our server seemed very inconvenienced when we were placing food and drink orders. Overall the customer service with the restaurant was lacking.

I came back here specifically for the Tiramisu dessert which was fabulous 3 weeks ago. This time unfortunately it was watery and the ladyfinger accompanying it was dry. They tried to correct it by offering another Tiramisu free of charge (instead of knocking off the price of the one I already ate). My friend and I shared another Tiramisu, but this one was still a bit frozen. Sigh. Our waitress was really spacey too - forgetting a bread request and misguiding us to a local winery. Overall, however, the staff was friendly and the food was decent. It is really the view that is outstanding. A lovely place to sit, eat, talk and relax.

The food was okay, but a bit bland. I was excited to try "pulled" chicken, but ended up just being small long pieces. The outdoor patio was okay, with nice golf course views - sort of - as a bar in the covered deck railing was around eye level. Being a bit taller, fine for me, a nuisance for my wife's view. The enclosure actually made even hotter on deck than outside and blocked the gentle breeze. Okay if tall enough and not that warm out. Bit disappointing the food wasn't more flavorful.

Beautiful views, nice setting, okay service. The vegetables were great but the meat was awful! The beef burger was old, dry & obviously had been reheated, it was so tough you could barely cut it with a knife. The chicken was salty & tough and you needed water to wash it down. We've been before and unfortunately it'll be a long while before we return...if ever.

The Range Restaurant used to be one of our fav places in Vernon. The new chef has totally missed the mark on what locals want at Predator. We can go to Sparkling Hill for chi chi dining but at the Range families want good, tasty comfort foods. The Range is not at ALL kid friendly - " hey kids do you want steelhead trout, baby calf or sable fish?"... Bring back a "good ol' menu. Sure we care about sustainability and clean eating but we still want taste and value. $27.00 for a mediocre veggie pasta- I think not. I can make a better dish at home. Too bad- we will miss the Range.
