The Lounge
The perfect spot to enjoy some post-golf refreshments. Catch up with friends or take in a game of your favourite sport on our large flatscreen TVs. The Lounge overlooks our beautiful fairways and the 18th green of the Ridge Course.

I keep thinking Predator will step up to the bar and live up to their location, but year after year its a disappointing experience. Perhaps someone should make a trip to Vancouver to see what can be done with some attention to detail and delivering value for money."

  • "Setting is lovely and service is good, however two of the four meals served were of questionable quality. First, the steak sandwich was served on a piece of bread that even the steak knife supplied would not cut through it. It looked like it had been taken off someone else's plate and spread with some butter to soften it. Mushrooms served with it should be "a mushroom" due to quantity, had the chef fried them up there would have been nothing left. BLTA was also served with stale bread, had it been toasted as are most BLTs then it would have gone unnoticed. My meal, a salad was fresh and delicious. The fourth menu item was the shrimp/fish tacos which were described as good. Golf pro visited our table where was the chef?"

  • "We sat on the patio and were seated between two very loud tables, we asked to be moved and were accommodated. I asked how big the ahi tuna salad was and the waitress informed me that although it was on the dinner menu it was not huge so we ordered an appetizer, when the salad came it was bigger than she informed us and we really didn't need an appetizer, to which she said "I guess it depends on who's in the kitchen""

  • "Unfortunately when we arrived for our reservation at 8:00pm on August 8th, there was a power outage. We understand that these things sometimes happen and are out of your control but the customer service definitely needed improvement. When we asked our server if there was absolutely anything to eat she just said "no, the kitchen is closed". When we asked for drinks she said "no". She didn't offer any solutions or suggestions. We ended up ordering pizza which we did on our own. When we arrived for lunch on Sunday August 9th, we were seated out on the patio. Although we had a beautiful view, our server seemed very inconvenienced when we were placing food and drink orders. Overall the customer service with the restaurant was lacking."

  • "I came back here specifically for the Tiramisu dessert which was fabulous 3 weeks ago. This time unfortunately it was watery and the ladyfinger accompanying it was dry. They tried to correct it by offering another Tiramisu free of charge (instead of knocking off the price of the one I already ate). My friend and I shared another Tiramisu, but this one was still a bit frozen. Sigh. Our waitress was really spacey too - forgetting a bread request and misguiding us to a local winery. Overall, however, the staff was friendly and the food was decent. It is really the view that is outstanding. A lovely place to sit, eat, talk and relax."

  • "The food was okay, but a bit bland. I was excited to try "pulled" chicken, but ended up just being small long pieces. The outdoor patio was okay, with nice golf course views - sort of - as a bar in the covered deck railing was around eye level. Being a bit taller, fine for me, a nuisance for my wife's view. The enclosure actually made even hotter on deck than outside and blocked the gentle breeze. Okay if tall enough and not that warm out. Bit disappointing the food wasn't more flavorful."

There was no kids menu, but our server told us a few things they had for them, verbally.. So it worked out ok. The view if Predator Ridge golf course was stunning. The restaurant was a little quiet and empty for a Saturday night, but it was only 6:00.."

  • "The Range Restaurant used to be one of our fav places in Vernon. The new chef has totally missed the mark on what locals want at Predator. We can go to Sparkling Hill for chi chi dining but at the Range families want good, tasty comfort foods. The Range is not at ALL kid friendly - " hey kids do you want steelhead trout, baby calf or sable fish?"... Bring back a "good ol' menu. Sure we care about sustainability and clean eating but we still want taste and value. $27.00 for a mediocre veggie pasta- I think not. I can make a better dish at home. Too bad- we will miss the Range. "

  • "we had a very poor easter sunday dinner experience. first of all we were very disappointed about the very limited dinner menu. we had to wait a long time until the waitress came and the drinks. the mussels and clams we ordered were not good at all. it was no good atmosphere either, probably also to the lack of customers. it was especially embarrassing because we had friends from Vancouver with us and wanted them to have a really nice dinner experience.   • "We have been regulars at Predator Ridge for 5 years now...and we love it. The only issue I have is that they have all but cancelled the Sunday brunch, which we would book every Sunday. It was $25 for adult and $12 for children...which was very reasonable. The place was PACKED on buffet day...and the food was AMAZING. We attended this Easter... and it was mediocre at best. Over $30 each and the food was not to the usual superb standard. The usual staff were not there, and service was patchy. But... we will give it another go for Mothers Day... keeping our hopes up that this was just a glitch."

  • "Unfortunately our dinner experience was very disappointing. My husband and I were spending the night up at Sparkling Hills, but thought we'd have dinner at Predator. Our reservation was for 630 and we didn't get our meal until 830-845 which we ate so quickly in order to get back to enjoy the pools and steam rooms. Our special relaxing night away was dampened by this experience. Our meal was payed which was a nice gesture, but we honestly didn't even enjoy the meal which wasn't what was describe in Menu. Future hint...if you have a new menu...all meals should be tested and tried before offering to public. We never mind paying for good food and good experience. Will we be back.....hope so, but may be a while..."

  • "We really enjoyed our first experience at the pasta buffet. Both chefs were so friendly and took a great amount of pride in telling us about what the foreseeable plans were for the pasta night...we can't wait to come back! The only suggestion I would put forth is a small one...it would be great to have soup spoons available either on the table or at the pasta station for "twirling" the pasta while eating. Not to mention, it helps you scoop up all the delicious sauce at the end ! Thanks!"

  • "New food menu. Had a pasta dish which could have been more flavourful. My wife is glute sensetive. She asked for a plateful of vegetables but disappointingly received a small amount. We were willing to pay any extra charges but somehow did not receive what we asked for. Service was good and the ambiece and scenery are great. Prices were reasonable."

  • "Being our first time in the Predator Ridge area we actually had a hard time finding the restaurant - we didn't see any signs saying the restaurant's name anywhere, so that would be a suggestion... :) ... Also it took 45-50 minutes to get our food which seemed like sort of a long time. However, when we got it, the food was delicious! The atmosphere was pleasant and I imagine it would be even prettier during the day to look at the scenery through all the big windows. Our server was a really nice girl but when we were finished our meals we waited a long time for her to bring us the bill as she was busy getting the tables ready for the next day."

I and my friends opted to dine here in lieu of driving to Kelowna for an Infusions dinner which we had done for the past 3 years. We were not disappointed. Some of us participated in Pasta Night and some in Wine and Dine; both groups were delighted with the food, service, and ambiance."

  • "This is the 2nd time I have been to Range restaurant, the first was great service and great food. My review, however, is based on my 2nd experience. Due to my first time, i decided to take my staff to the Range for our Christmas dinner. I was very disappointed. The second time was completely different than the first. The service was terrible, our server was either had too many tables, or just wasn't interested in being there. The staff were scrambling to keep up with the customers, and frankly didn't look able to keep up with the demand. They had a constant line up at the buffet, and ran out of salads and the breakers kept tripping for the burners.The first time, buffet included desserts and soft drinks. The second, neither was included."
