Diner Reviews
  • "enjoyed the night. went there for our 1 yr anniversary. everything was lovely. just needed a little more room on the table and away from the chill when doors opened in the entryway. had venison for the first time and it tasted great, just seemed a little underdone near the bone. the wine we had paired very well with meal. even had saved room for dessert. the raspberry mousse was rich and filling."

  • "The food did not live up to it's description on the menu. It was lacking in flavor and somewhat disappointing."

  • "The ambience and wait staff were very good, however, the roast chicken was inedible."

  • "Been there a couple times. Food is generally excellent and for the most part was this time too. However, my date's halibut was overcooked, but she didn't say anything and ate most of it. I told the waiter and he gave her a free dessert. Great place, excellent service."

  • "Outstanding. Again. Food, service, everything. Not a lot to say when it is good."

  • "Perfect for a lunch meeting. Near downtown, easy access and you do not have to deal with outrageous parking cost. Many time's there is 2 hour street parking or you can valet for a very reasonable price. I have never been disappointed with the food or service. When it is warm out great patio seating with no diminish of service quality."

  • "There was a little uncertainty about how many of us would be staying for dinner, and the wait staff was very gracious and accommodating to having people stop by our table, have a drink, and leave. That being said, we very much enjoyed our dinner. we sampled a wide range of dishes, from fried oysters to quail and beef tips and pasta. The salads were just the right size, and dressing were brought on the side without asking. Very elegant and understated dining. Prompt service."

  • "A great local restaurant. Excellent food; pleasant atmosphere; good service. Most enjoyable. Good value."

  • "The salad appetizers, creme brule, and cocktails we had were all more delicious than the main courses. I think I would just do the apps, drinks, and dessert next time. The atmosphere was nice though and the service was wonderful."

  • "My friend requested Duck Medium and it appeared rare. My duck was filled with tissue. This is no reflection on the waiter who was very good but the quality of the dinner was not what I expected. Chef Ramsey would have tossed you to the curb."

  • "This is our second visit to this restaurant and Randolph's staff continues to deliver great service and wonderful meals at reasonable prices."

  • "When we arrived were greeted with a fantabulous surprise-someone was playing the Piano...AWESOME! lighted trees were dreamy and romantic. Clam chowder was to die for; buffalo short ribs and prime rib were delicious. prime rib wasn't served warm/hot. Desserts were ok. Service was a titch slow. We couldn't afford to go often but perfect for special occasions."

  • "Went for Brunch at 11 o'clock on a Sunday. Clearly they were short-staffed, several nearby tabled un-bussed and piled with dirty dishes (not terribly appetizing), just getting coffee seemed complicated. The food was fine, nothing wrong with it but nothing remarkable either. The most notable part of the meal with the noise level. For some reason they amplified the live piano, it was so loud that we wouldn't have a conversation at our table. They took what could have been lovely Sunday Brunch background music and unnecessarily made it into a disappointing experience for our table. I checked the box for "energetic" that that is should be read as "LOUD"."

  • "Overall experience was good; the only exception was the food needed to be served hot not warm. Also for the price you pay you need more food."

  • "Great place for a special occasion - food, service and ambiance are first class."

  • "Dinner was good (bordering on great). The high-point of our dining experience was that I noticed they had a lobster bisque sauce they topped one of their menu items with. I asked if they would give me a cup as a soup. The chef was hesitant as she believed it was too thin to serve as a soup, but it was exquisite. Best part of the meal by far. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant, the only possible exception being the valet. Nice enough, but my wife was on crutches and it was wet and very cold outside. I gave him our ticket when our server was processing our payment, but he didn't start the car or pull it to the door-simply handed me the keys. Other than the valet issue, very enjoyable experience."

  • "We finally went to Randolph's two years after putting it our "must go to" list after loving their food at Taste of Colorado. It was all we hoped for. Great food: we had melt in your mouth tender rack of lamb, same for braised ox tail (nightly special), a steak my son raved over, and excellent pasta bolognese, and the desserts were scrumptious. The food was truly prepared to perfection, showing an outstanding flair and rare ability by the kitchen staff. Great attentive service: our water glasses and bread basket were kept full throughout our dinner. A truly outstanding wait staff. Lovely atmosphere, fireplace, view windows looking over downtown, lively bar. Highly recommended for a special occasion, one of the best restaurants in Denver!"

  • "It's been a while since I'd been to Randolphs. They have a new chef and menu. The menu offering is a lot smaller and they no longer have the wonderful fish and chips that I always ordered. I will think twice before returning. It was the fish and chips that was my favorite."

  • "Treat yourself to a special night in an historic spot. The steaks are great, service is superb."

  • "There were three of us and we ordered from the menu, although the buffet looked great! We all had a great meal!"

  • "The ambiance and the service was nice. The food had great presentation but it was not cooked like we had requested. I had asked for my Steak to be med with just pink, but it came back red, almost rare. And one of my other friends also had beef and ordered it med well and it came back almost rare. Though they did offer to recook it, I declined as the rest of the party would have been done with their meals and I did not want then waiting on me. I will give them one more chance."

  • "I went to Randolph's for New Year's Eve and it was the highlight of my New Years celebration. All five courses were amazing. I plan to stop by Randolph's more often. Service was wonderful as well, 5 star dining."

  • "Food was a high quality, though we felt the portions were small for the price. Very nice server, Bradley."

  • "A wonderful experience from start to finish. Terrific service and an excellent Christmas Day brunch. The only small quibble I have is that we were seated in a traffic pattern between the buffet tables and the seating area and people kept bumping my chair."

  • "Food was great, went with a party of 6 and no one had any complaints with the food. Service was great, server was knowledgable with the menu and specials. They were very acomadating with children."

  • "Great Christmas brunch, good food, very fast service. I would recommend this for a holiday brunch...or any other time. Great food for the price!"
    Dined on 12/25/2013
  • "Although the brunch was served in an upstairs "ballroom", the atmosphere was festive. The servers were upbeat and the food was not necessarily inspired but tasty."

  • "This was our 4th time dining at Randolphs. Well worth every penny even at regular price. The food is always outstanding and reasonably priced. Their seasonal menu is constantly changing. I had the Colorado rack of lamb. I have to say, I don't usually order lamb, I'm a filet guy. This was the best lamb I have ever had! You could almost cut it off the bone with a fork. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and had a nice demiglaze. Everytime we go here, it's never too loud or busy which my wife and I really like. Great food at reasonable prices. The service is a little slow so plan on at least 2 hours for dinner. We'll definitely be back. Joined the VIP club this time as well."

  • "Our family enjoyed the dinner and service. Unfortunately, the incident with our card being overcharged by extra $5 when I checked our credit card acct online this week made it very disappointing."

  • "I took my 92 year old aunt to lunch the day before Christmas. They have valet parking which was nice so that she didn't have to walk very far. The service was great. I ordered club soda and they were very attentive about filling the glasses. It was quiet enough to talk. The menu has something for everyone. My aunt ordered the clam chowder and I had the Cesar salad. My aunt said the chowder could have been hotter, she likes to have it cool off before she eats it. My salad was wonderful! Dressing was the true Cesar dressing and had anchovies. The waiter did ask if I wanted the anchovies when I ordered. We ran into a friend who we had join us.She had the hamburger which she could only eat half because it was so big."

  • "I had purchased a Living Social deal and am so glad I did, we had dinner here before attending the ballet so arrived very early. The restaurant is very beautiful and very comfortable. Our meals were very good, the timing of the service perfect."

  • "I return frequently. The atmorsphere is relaxing. You can have a conversation with your table mates without bellowing to be heard. The service is attentive, yet unobtrusive. The red pepper bisque and cobb salad with salmon were as good as expected. The calamari appetizer not so much. Expected some pieces of fried calamari and shrimp with fresh vegetables. House wines are quite good."

  • "Randolph's at the Warwick Hotel is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The service was just the right blend of attentiveness and space to converse with our group. The food was superb. The presentation and preparation were perfect, absolutely perfect. We had a lovely leisurely dinner in their hotel dining room. We would recommend it and we will return to the Randolph int the future!"

  • "All 4 of us enjoyed the food. It was interesting and very tasty. However the service was uneven. The waiter arrived quickly to take drink orders and returned with them. Then he seemed to disappear for 25 minutes."

  • "The experience was wonderful. My only complaint was that there wine list was limited. Other than that, we enjoyed everything!"
