The food was too dry and salty. I got the grilled salmon with cardoons. They were nice to give me a free dessert for my birthday.

  • Pricey, but worth the trip!

The food was great and we bad an excellent time. The service was a little slow, but the wait staff were knowledgeable and made great suggestions. It was a little pricey, and not a place I would go every week, but would definitely go back!

Just walking in the door, the aromas were enticing! The food was delicious, the service awesome, and atmosphere really, really comfortable. I'm afraid to be too glowing because I'm afraid next time it'll be too crowded to get a table!

Delicious fresh food, perfectly cooked. A little loud in the restaurant, bursting of energy when you walk in from the other wise dark and quiet mini-mall that the restaurant is located in.

Best in Scottsdale...year after year. Fresh, fine food, great service and wonderful wine list. Chef Chritia is wonderful, innovative and rock solid. Never a missed beat (by the way the best beet salad ever!). Ninnies Chicken a great comfort food.

With all the vaunted eateries along Scottsdale Road, this one deserves more attention. A kitschy, tongue-in-chic take on Southwest iconography in the decor belies an ambitious and interesting menu with locally sourced greens and vegetables. Try the pasta with the duck confit, black lentils and squash as an example of the chef's culinary imagination. Wednesday nights selected wines are half-price.

Very promptly seated (7.30pm), moderately promptly provided with bread and then (grossly overpriced) wine, but then waited and waited and waited -- until 9.00pm !!! -- for food. VERY unimpressive service - no explanation for the delay. Food was just OK - nothing special.

We enjoy this restaurant because it feels like the Southwest. The tables are located far enough away from each other that you do not hear other conversations. The food quality is tasty and prepared in an interesting manner. We like the ambiance, although the servers could be more attentive.
