  • "The Ranchers Club still has outstanding service, but the food was good. My daughter had the salmon and I had the Filet Minion. We also ordered the soup of the day for an appetizer which turned out to be one of the best parts of the meal. It was a roasted red bell pepper soup with croutons. We also ordered a Caesar salad that was prepared right at our table. This too was outstanding. The Salmon was good, but the purple sauce was neither sweet or savory. My steak was very tasty but ordering it medium came out too rare for me. Twice baked potatoes were good, however Mom's were better. Desert went well for my daughter with the crème Brule, very yummy. I ordered the strawberry rhubarb crisp. The rhubarb was not cooked enough."

  • "Older crow seems to eat here. There could be multiple reason for this. Maybe the price. But honestly think is the decoration. The flowery chairs kind of toss it off a little. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. One of the best services I have got. The food is really good specially the steaks. We spent 161 dollars for a party of two including a 40 dollar bottle of wine. Once again the decoration of animal head and lamps made out of horns mix with flowery chair kind of kills it for me."

  • "Had a good sampling of items. Rice paper prawns, wedge salad were all great. I had the filet with parmesan polenta and my fiancé had the cowboy cut ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes. Both were perfectly cooked. We both agreed that my polenta was the winning side but it is incredibly rich. We shared the mushroom sauce and chimichurri both were very flavorful. We're not big on wine so I can't comment in the wine list. Their deserts are focused on creme brûlée (there's about 3 different version) and that's not my thing but they had a stout brownie with dulce de leche ice cream that was super. Wait staff was totally competent and friendly. I'd definitely recommend Rancher's Club for a special night out."

  • "Go in expecting all around upscale quirky (think the 80s meets hunting lodge meets wacky old-school Vegas) and you'll have a lovely experience. The Rancher's Club properly dry ages all their steaks (most restaurants don't do this anymore because it's not cost effective) and serves them cooked beautifully. Better meat, atmosphere and prices than Vernon's, to be sure!"

  • "We've been there before. The service is wonderful and ambience is relaxed, and romantic. The prime rib was good and the ribeye wasn't the quality we expected from this restaurant. Both salads greens were fresh but the dressing had a strange taste. We were there for an anniversary andwere presented us with a wonderful turtle Carmel cheese cake to share. The waiter did offer to give me a new salad but I decilined. Overall it was a good experience but not the caliber we have come to expect from this restaurant ."

  • "We made another of our many visits to Albuquerque and wanted to do something a little fancy, different and romantic. This did it. The food was beyond wonderful and the staff paid attention to our every need. You will pay a little more, but if you can afford it, DO IT. What a perfect evening!"

  • "My boyfriend and I have eaten at Rancher's Club many times over the years and it has always had a very good menu and nice ambience. It's great for special occasions, anniversaries, etc. The wait staff are always friendly and attentive. The waiter we had was excellent and very professional. The food was very tasty and the wine selection was good. In years past the wait staff would clean your table after each course, which is a practice not seen much anymore, but always made it special. Rancher's Club stopped doing that a while back and I wish they could bring that practice back. The bussers did an adequate job, but could be more enthusiastic to assist. Overall, the evening went well. We will be back again."

  • "I took my wife to the Rancher's Club, for her birthday / Valentines day dinner. We were seated right away at a small outside corner table that was close to the table were they stacked the dirty dishes and in a main walkway for the staff. The first thing we noticed was how loud the restaurant was and that when we decided not to have any wine, it seemed like me and my wife were not important enough for good service. Getting someone at come to the table was like an afterthought, so to pass the time, my wife and I decided to start timing the amount of time between getting someone to come to our table and receiving what we ask for, took on average 20- 25 minutes. If it were not for the steward, we probably would be still sitting there."

The service was great (so hard to find in ABQ), the food was great and we had a nice time. The only comment I have on the negative side is the booths are a little dated with the upholstery. But, I love the ambiance. Thanks for a great time!"

The service was excellent, the food plentiful and good, the atmosphere always nice and quiet. The staff is efficient and treat everyone like they are special. A lovely young woman who made outstanding drinks. The entire wait staff was outstanding. They were attentive without being intrusive. They obviously wanted to ensure we had a wonderful evening. The food was superb. All four of us ordered different entrees. Everyone's meal was great."

  • "If you are looking for meat, then Rancher's Cub is the place for you. The steaks are always perfectly done to your specifications. My son took a slight step to the wild side and tried the bison. It was wonderful. The staff is attentive and helpful without being intrusive. When they overheard us mention my husband's birthday they brought him a special dessert while saying "don't worry, we're not going to sing". Loved that! The restaurant is next to the piano bar so we had lovely, live, piano music throughout the meal that did not interfere with conversation. We had a wonderful evening. Thanks, Rancher's!"
