Rancher's Club of New MexicoLoved it!We come to The Ranchers Club for special occasions.
The service is always impeccable and the food is divine.
Yes, its expensive but worth it.
Thank you for making our wedding anniversary special once again!6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMRemarkableWhat a find!! This romantic restaurant has great service and the best food I've had in Albuquerque.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable Meal & Great ServiceWe celebrated our 20th anniversary with dinner at the Rancher's Club. My husband had the wild boar osso bucco, and I had the scallops. Osso bucco was meltingly tender and finished with a very light, au ju-like sauce that complimented the meat, rather than overpowering it. My scallops were done to perfection. Accompaniments: bread, vegetables, polenta - all delicious and fresh. Our waiter made an excellent Caesar salad table-side - one of the best I've ever had. We also chose a great, reasonably priced cabernet sauvignon from the restaurant's specially-priced list. The only criticism we had was that the regular wine list was unbelievably overpriced. Several of our favorites were listed at over twice what we usually pay.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific Traditional Rancher's ClubRancher's Club has been around for a very long time and never disappoints ! Outstanding , traditional service with several wait staff attending to your every need. Fantastic steak house menu featuring excellent beef choices plus exotic meats. Dark inside with flickering fireplace to warm the vintage dining room featuring curved booths and tables. Reminds me of an old fashioned " gentlemen's " ranch house in which to smoke cigars and swill expensive brandy. Come rediscover this Albuquerque gem !6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMLoveintheairSecond date, sealed the deal. Exotic meats and wine can't go wrong with that combination. We sat next to each other and shared a beautiful culinary experience complimented by the perfect bottle of wine. The wild boar osso buco was amazing.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AM29th AnnivewrsaryStaff is first rate. Wine list is a little light, but what's there is good and reasonably priced for a first-tier restaurant. Entrees were done to perfection (Prime Rib, Lamb Chops) but sides could have used some additional attention. Caesar salad was well crafted and presented, but it was a lot of food even for two....add some shredded chicken it would be a stand-alone entree on its own. For two.
All in all it was a fine experience. We paid for it later with the effects of eating too much..... Recommend the Creme Brulee as this is one of the very few places in Albuquerque that gets it correct.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMTop Notch Dining ExperienceWe were a party of four dining with out-of-town guests. It had been several years since our last visit to the Rancher's Club. The service was outstanding; we all applauded the orchestrated simultaneous removal of our dinner covers revealing artistically arranged food. We couldn't have been more pleased. The blood orange sorbet and smooth creme brule were superior -- and both generous enough, they could (and probably should) be shared!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and wine! But whatGreat food and wine! But what we took away most from our first visit to the place was the great service and professionalism of the staff! They were outstanding!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe piano player made ourThe piano player made our dining experience extra special.
She was fabulous!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMMy twice bake potato was coldMy twice bake potato was cold and by the time I was served another, I was finished with my meal, but the food was excellant.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service is the finestThe service is the finest Albuquerque has to offer! We had a wonderful experience! Always love the Ranchers Club3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMBeen there several times andBeen there several times and it is always excellent.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy favorite meal here hadMy favorite meal here had been on a special menu for New Years a couple of years ago. It was venison Wellington, and was terrific. I was able to make a special request a few days before this reservation, and they made the item for me. The service is always superb. If you want a dining experience that makes you feel "special", this is the place.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food and excellentWonderful food and excellent service! We just moved to Albuquerque in July and have been there twice and loved it!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent experience....!The staff is friendlly, knowledgeable and the food was good - We ordered special of seafood and menue 18 oz Rib eye.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA "medium" Prime Rib orderA "medium" Prime Rib order resulted in a browned serving of meat beyond medium. A slice of prime rib should never arrive that way, but it was otherwise enjoyable. Has the steak chef NEVER asked for such a cut at The Cooperage or Black Angus in Albuquerque? He/she should, and be aware of those superior offerings - for much less cost. I was very surprised.
Yes, we'll dine at the Rancher's Club again, but I'll avoid the ridiculous Prime Rib.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMPiano background a real plus.Piano background a real plus. Professional waitstaff as well. Truly comfortable Western setting. Always like this restaurant.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for Piano Listening!Even though the steaks are excellent, the seafood specials are usually my choice. Lindy does a great job at the piano on Wed, Thur and Sat nights. This is just a great place to relax and enjoy the evening!2/21/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasant meal. We haven'tPleasant meal. We haven't been here in years, and we were bringing friends who'd never been, so we were a little concerned, but everything was great. Good service, very good food.1/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
