The Jazz music, the bloody mary bar, the menu with both brunch and lunch choices and the opportunity to make a reservation through Open Table all made for a carefree and most enjoyable dining experience. When we arrived at the resturant, all the outside tables were occupied. The Manger was very accomadatring and brought out another table so we would not have t waiit to be seated. The servers brough our bowls and pitchers of ice water for the dogs, The Rams Head has a doogie menu with meatballs and a non- alcoholic chicken broth "ale" for the dogs. What a find! We happened to come during Happy Hour and we were treated to a great selection of drinks. We started with the crab dip, which in my opinion, was PHENOMENAL! We then split the macaroni and cheese and a small pizza. We were definitely full by the end of the meal and the bill was cheap! We loved the Tavern so much that we returned the next day to have more of the dip!
Our serveres were very attentive despite the fact that it was crowded. My wife and I found not only the show but the entire Ram's Head experience to be above expectations. Food, service, facilities... Add in the Performance Pkg along with visiting Annapolis ... Again, it was a great experience. The service was great and our waitress went out of her way to make us comfortable and helped us locate our table at the after dinner concert area. The only problem we had was at the hostess station, which is kind-of hidden toward the middle of the restaurant. I know they were very busy, but after making reservations and arriving on time, we were put into "limbo-wait-stage", that was a little uncomfortable standing around in that small area and everyone is busy walking to and from through this area. After we got to our table, things really got much better.
