All was great. Nice place this time of year with outdoor heaters. Little mix up with my food; manager came out right away and made it right. Everything was good, prices reasonable. Happy hour has reduced beer and wine prices and free hot wings.

Had a wonderful experience here, that wait staff and managment were extremely accommodating especially since we were a rather large and disorganized group. They got our party of 39 situated beautifully on the patio and made sure we were all comfortable. All the food came out perfectly and there were no complaints on our end, the experience and the ambiance could not have been better. The outdoor seating is amazing and they do a wonderful job of climate control in an open outdoor setting. The only warning I give outdoor diners is that it is a true outdoor patio with surrounding forest so there were a couple a bees but that is not controlable being outside when it was so beautiful. Thanks for such a great experience see you again soon.

The Rams Head in Savage is one of my go-to places for lunch. Great shrimp and burgers, and the peanut butter pie is fantastic. They have daily specials that are often quite good as well. Sit outside if the weather is good.

This was my first visit to the Tavern and it was a really nice experience. My husband, myself, my daughter and my nephew were meeting my brother who was visiting us from out of town. I had been told about Rams Head in the past and thought this would be a really nice place to bring him to...I was absolutely right. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. Thank you for such a special treat down the street. You were 25 minutes from my home and well worth the trip.

I went to the Rams Head Inn for Sunday brunch. We ate outside, which was a highlight of the experience, because the view is beautiful. They didn't have enough waiters to serve all of the customers and the service was slow. Additionally, the waiter forgot part of the meal and my friend had to wait a very long time to get it. The food was very good. If I go back again, I would try a Saturday rather than Sunday. Also, I wouldn't eat inside on a Sunday, because the music was very loud.

Had lunch at Ram's Head in Savage. Our meal was good - since there are very few alternatives in the area I would probably go back. I was a little disappointed in the side salad that I received - Iceberg lettuce with a few tomatoes on top. The jalapeno dressing was tasty! Our waitress was engaged and helpful, which always makes for a pleasant dining experience.

Although the food we had was pretty good, our biggest problem was with our server. We ordered several appetizers which for one of our party was a meal but our server seemed to have trouble understanding that we didn't want everything to come all together at one time. Also, if you have trouble with stairs, there is still one small flight of stairs in spite of having an elevator.

We had a wonderful meal at the Rams Head Tavern in Savage, Maryland on Sunday, August 10, 2014. Out waiter was wonderful and not only had a very nice personality, he was very efficient. I liked how he kept coming back to see if we needed anything. The setting is just lovely and after we ate we walked around and visited some of the delightful shops that are in the mill.

We've eaten here a couple of times and enjoyed both visits. The first time was just my wife and I, the second was part of a larger group. Limited menu but all good and the bar is excellent. Great spot to eat outdoors when the weather is good!

Jazz brunch. Ask for a place not near a balcony. Placed our group of ten right under the stage. So loud we could not hear the person across the table. Food was outstanding. Service was outstanding. Was raining so we could not go outside. Ask to be seated away from the music if you are going to socialize with friends

I've been to the Rams Head Tavern in Savage many times over the years and find the food is consistently good (if not gastronomic) and the service is friendly and efficient - this time was no exception. It is an interesting setting that makes for a good meeting place in between Baltimore and Washington, DC which worked very well for a business dinner with people coming from both directions. If one has extra time, there are other shops to explore in the Savage Mill complex as well. I would recommend the Rams Head Tavern in Savage for a good solid casual dining experience convenient to Baltimore and Washington.

The Ram's Head at Savage Mill is in a repurposed mill and they've used the old location to great advantage. Very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Adding in great service and good food makes this a go-to place for lunch & dinner. I recommend the beer battered shrimp and the peanut butter pie, but you can't go too wrong.
