I got the tuna two ways, which was good. I also got the charcuterie plate which was okay, and the truffle fries, which was french fry overload. We asked that it come out slowly - three at a time. By the time we got to the last three we were full. Amazing flavors, very generous size appetizers.

The atmosphere was slightly formal, while not being too restrictive. Most male patrons wore blazers or dinner jackets. The complimentary valet service was very efficient and conveinent. When we finished our meal and walked out the door, the valet attendant had our car out front with the door open for us. That was amazing. Not sure how they knew when to do that. The food pricing appeared to match the atmosphere, but the entree dish that I had was good but not great. Our group tried the crawfish omelette (my favorite), shrimp and grits, duck, and the chicken and waffles and no one was disappointed. We sat in the room right next to the piano player, which made it a truly unforgettable meal. The food was very good and we, as visitors from another state, enjoyed the New Orleans type of food. There was a mix up where one of our party received the wrong entree and waited about 10 minutes after we had our food to get the right entree. THe manager appeared and apologized for the mistake, but the waitress either never knew of the mistake or never acknowledge it to us.

Everything was great. The food was delicious and interesting. The service was perfect. He never seemed rushed, flustered or slow. Everyone had the attention they needed and delicious food.
It is hard to serve a big group and keep the meal well paced and make everyone happy. Had the root vegetable soup with goat cheese which was delicious. Also the crawfish omelette was very good - tasty and not too rich. The chicken fried veal was probably the best dish on our table. It had been well reviewed, but looked to us like a pleasant southern County Club restaurant - somewhere you'd take your grandma for Mother's Day brunch - so we weren't expecting to be served some cutting edge, interesting food. The crawfish salad with fresh corn was refreshing and different, and my fried chicken, surrounded by a decadent, rich sauce, topped with crispy collard greens and, yes!, hush puppies was excellent. Amber was our wait person, her recommendations were excellent and exactly what we were seeking for dinner that evening. The duck breast was outstanding with cherry sauce and our final selection, guided by Amber made the evening Citrus Custard.
Ralph's is ambience, great food and service with an outstanding view of City Park.
Quiet enough to talk with a soft background of piano from the bar which is alway lively.
