Ralph's of South Philly - King of PrussiaThe Manager Ryan was fantastic. The Manager Ryan was fantastic. He special ordered escargot for my mother and I for mothersday. Above and beyond !!!
The wait staff was very attentive and also very nice. Overall it was my 2nd visit and I love it. Will be back in the future. Gives King of Prussia another great restaurant for people to go to.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMClassy, Great Service and DeliciousThis was our first time at Ralph's and we wanted to try King of Prussia, instead of going into the city on Mother's Day. We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the food and the service were. We shared an appetizer, and 'dipped' the plate clean with the crusty bread. We each had fantastic entrees - black lobster ravioli w/scallops, stuffed pork chop, wonderful chicken marsala, and we shared two desserts - cannoli cake and tiramisu. There were several wait staff taking care of us. They were friendly, but left us alone for time to talk. The room was modern and open without the normal tight quarters of old Italian restaurants. Everything was done perfectly, and the bill was less than expected. We will return again.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe meal was fantastic andThe meal was fantastic and our waiter was attentive and friendly. I already recommended Ralph's to many of our friends and family...Great Job!!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was very good, simmerThe food was very good, simmer to the original Ralph's except that a bit more garlic would be appreciated. What we didn't like was that we asked to substitute a little more of the veggie that came
with our entree for the potato and were charged for a side. What we live the most is Steve Ritrovato singing there Friday nights - it is SO hard to find good live jazz/trad pop! Love the setup except that we asked for a table right by Steve and were told we could not sit in any of the 3 right in front of him, they didn't have a server for them. Give me a break, you couldn't move a server from the table we rejected? We sat at the bar, which was very pleasant with great service.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMI was surprised the restaurantI was surprised the restaurant was inside the Sheraton as I was looking for a stand-alone building. Certainly not the Ralph's in So. Philly but the food was very good and the service was excellent. We will be going again.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAs Good As South PhillyThis location is much closer to my home. The menu and recipes are the same as the original location. Very delicious and authentic Italian food. Service was swift and the food arrived to the table quickly and was very hot. Great quiet atmosphere with many tables that could be secluded and romantic if so desired. There was plenty of space between tables throughout the restaurant. Loved the soft Italian music playing.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMFine Italian !So I thought Ralph's would be like its South Phila origin....wrong. Was a new and vibrant feel. Dining room was expansive and modern. Very comfortable with soothing modern decor. Our waitress was skilled, friendly and efficient. Food was out of this world with generous portions. Great value, best Italian outside of the city. Would highly recomend.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMHappy to have Ralph's in KoP!Only my first time at the KoP location, but I was very happy that the food was as good as any I remember having at Ralph's/SPh. Renovations on the Sheraton are remarkable, and the restaurant was lovely. Will definitely be back!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMJust like the old neighborhood.I have been to the original Ralph's on 9th street in the old neighborhood, the ambience was the same, the decor was a lot nicer than the old Ralph's the parking is much better. The service was excellent, the manager only came to the table to say "enjoy your entrees" . I have been to other restaurants where a staff member constantly stops by and asks if everything is ok. The staff at Ralph's are confident that everything is excellent so they do not ask if your food or service is ok.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a small group post-CommunionWe had a small group post-Communion dinner; our waitstaff was great, and patient considering the small children in our party and the accident on I-76 that delayed two of our guests. The food was great, the price was reasonable. I can't wait to go back for a more leisurely dining experience without the kids!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat meal - Check your billOverall, we enjoyed our meal. There was one issue, however. My daughter's filet mignon was delivered very well done when she had requested medium rare. The waiter said it would take a while to get a new one. The manager happened by and saw she had no plate and asked why, so I told him. He went to the kitchen and returned in a few minutes with a perfectly cooked steak. Then, when the bill came, there was no mention of the incident, no apology, and no discount. Also, I was charged for a side that I asked for instead of the regular side. I asked for the manager and he took care of it and comp'd our dessert. The singer was great.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMour waiter Aries was wonderfulour waiter Aries was wonderful and full of personality. thanks for a great time!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter was outstandingOur waiter was outstanding and the food was very good too.
We look forward to our next visit.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was great and theThe food was great and the wine list was extensive. Lots of good food selections. Ambiance was very modern and new. Just opened in this location recently and should be a strong choice for great Italian food.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMRalph'sGreat food and service! Love this restaurant in South Philly, now have new favorite in K of P! Each very different in ambience but food is stellar @ both locations!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOur meals were great. I hadOur meals were great. I had veal saltimbocca and the Madeira sauce was outstanding. We are Italian and retirees and felt the prices were high for what we consider standard Italian food. Our reservation was 6pm on a Friday night and were entertained by a singer who was quite good at singing Sinatra. However, by the time we left, we weren't able to hear each other because of the additional noise from the other tables. We will recommend Ralph's for the food, service and bar but will include comments about the noise level and prices.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMSince we have been going toSince we have been going to the original Ralph's for years, we were worried that the "new" Ralph's would be a let-down... but we were happy to find that this Ralph's offers the same food quality and service! And it's much closer to our house and easier to park! Still family-run - the chef came out and pointed out pictures of his great-grandfather and other relatives who worked at the original restaurant. A note: the famous eggplant parmigiana dish is not on the menu but you can ask for it! We'll be back!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, large portions,Great food, large portions, and extremely attentive service.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA Taste of South PhillyMy husband and I are both from South Philly and we are so happy that we have a Taste of our food coming to us.
Salvator our waiter was very attentive to us and very knowledgeable of all the foods on the menu.
I'm taking my co-worker to lunch on thursday April 18th4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA fine night from arriving,A fine night from arriving, to the table service, and the Food was great.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMRalph's of South Philly KOPWell where should I begin. I went to this restaurant for my birthday dinner with my family. We were told by friends that we had to try this restaurant. There are two Matts who waiter there. I was told to ask for Cousin Matt. He was wonderful. Attentive. Great service. My table was thrilled. We never needed for anything. The service was amazing. We will make this our new place for special occasions, and we will certainly ask for Cousin Matt, whenever we go. From the mussels red and white, and the Sicilian calamari, Veal Chop, Veal Picante, Veal Parm, a special (with shrimp, broc, in a mussels white sauce over penne) amazing. The entire staff came out to sing happy birthday. If you don't make Ralph's your place to go, you are crazy. Loved It!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMMenu is limited from normalMenu is limited from normal Ralphs menu in South Philly. The waiter gave us some long hots after asking b/c they were not on the menu. I wish they had more items like South Philly - they only offered one type of Soup. The food was amazing as always, the staff was extremely friendly, prompt, and courteous. I would go back - the atmosphere was very modern and sophisticated - but it's inside a hotel - which isn't obviously advertised - we drove passed the place first, not knowing where it was.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat to have Ralph's in the burbs!Classic Italian restaurant with all the old-time classics you ate as a kid like veal and chicken parmagiana... Delicious tomato sauce and the portions were ample enough for take-home for a 2nd meal. The mussels were great and definitely big enough to share as an appetizer. The bread was great, but wish it was served warm. Great to have Ralph's now in KOP! The ambiance is nothing like the original Ralph's in South Philly... the one in KOP is in the new Sheraton hotel - wish the look and feel of the restaurant was more like the original. The floor is carpeted and you feel like you're in a hotel ballroom, rather than a great Italian restaurant. That4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMYou will love the food atYou will love the food at Ralph's in King of Prussia. Great new restaurant .4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMHave dined at Ralph's on 9thHave dined at Ralph's on 9th Street for decades. Have never been disappointed. It is a family favorite. But have to say the Ralph's in KOP is a hassle-free (parking and space in restaurant) alternative. The staff is warm and welcoming. The food is wonderful. The atmosphere a step up from 9th Street. Our waiter, Aries, was fun, efficient and accomodating. He made it a great experience. Will go again, and again! Thanks Ralph's4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant is very fancy. This restaurant is very fancy. We did not realize this, and brought our two young children. Our waiter and the entire staff went way out of their way to pay special attention to our children and make them comfortable. They brought food and drinks out early for the kids, and politely child-proofed the table to avoid any spilling incidents. The result was a great experience by all. The food was wonderful and they really impressed us with their service. Highly recommend.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Italian cuisineBeen there twice this week. Had a fabulous server, Aries and he catered to our every need. The food was wonderful- veal parm was delicious!! Would highly recommend Ralph's at The Sheraton, King of Prussia4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMHands down the best ItalianHands down the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMSalvatore was an excellentSalvatore was an excellent waiter serving excellent food. Cannoli is to die for....3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and service are outstanding.Food and service are outstanding. Kitchen seemed to be slow getting apps, entrees, etc out timely. Other than that a great place for dinner or drinks3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMOnce again, we had a greatOnce again, we had a great time at Ralph's. Service was perfect, food was great, and atmosphere fun! So happy Ralph's made its way to the burbs!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMRalph's was jammed packed,Ralph's was jammed packed, which is a good sign. The food was was great, lots of! Our waitress Laura was very nice, funny and friendly! I would recommend Ralph's! It's almost a hidden gem, a nice change for King of Prussia since most of the restaurants are chain in that area!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a wonderful diningWe had a wonderful dining experience at Ralph's in KOP! The food was amazing- we had the chicken and veal parm. I have ordered veal parm at a lot of restaurants and this was by far the best I've had! The drinks were great and the service was exceptional! We will definitely be making this a regular spot :)3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMhow wonderful to not havehow wonderful to not have to travel to south philly to get this phenominal food!
we had a blast...portions extremely large...but as our server said "that's why they make leftover boxes!" and our 2nd dinner was just as good at home!...great place...close to home...not commercial like the place down the street...we'd call that a win!oh yeah...easy to find & easy to park...can't get any better for us!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMBrought the kids with thisBrought the kids with this time and they loved it. Ended up with sauce everywhere, always the sign of a good meal.
We all shared spaghetti meatball, manicotti, spinach gnocchi and chicken parm. All the dishes got stamps of approval from the kids, and also from my wife and I. Reminds me of going to south philly with my family when I was young, great meal.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMBeen here at least once aBeen here at least once a month since they opened, continues to impress more each time.
Had Chicken Fenneli for first time...wow. My date had the sea bass and has same reaction.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThe chicken parm was the biggestThe chicken parm was the biggest portion I have even seen and was DELCIOUS! The Chilean Seabass was off the charts AMAZING! The cannolitini cocktail ROCKED! We will be back SOON!3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing FoodWe have dined their 2 times and find the food amazing and the service wonderful. We will be going back real soon.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMDebi from GilbertsvilleLoved the place. Sat at the bar for a drink bf dinner. Absolutely great waitress. I had the Chilean sea bass, which was just as good the next day for lunch. My husband had veal parm (his favorite) and he really enjoyed it. Sauce was great. We thought it was priced well for the quality of the food and environment. It's kind of loud, so I wouldn't go for romance. But if you want good food, a decent price, great service, and an upbeat atmosphere, this is your place to go. Definitely will go back!!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOur third time at Rfalph'sOur third time at Rfalph's was very enjoyable . Highlights were Veal SaltimboccaRtender and lightly dressed-the prosciutto did not overwhelm the veal as often happens. Arugula salad with paper thin pear slices was sweet/tangy and plenty for 2. Pasta primavera was excellent-instead of the usually seen cream sauce, this had a slighlty spicy light red sauce and was full of tender veggies.Staff was happy to substitute penne for the whole wheat pasta. Bread could use improvement-hard and not warmed. Wine list is disappointing as there is not a single Italian white on the list! But the overall experience will take us back .3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
