This defineately fit the bill. We sat outside next to the coy pond. The food was great and the music was Caribbean style and it was very relaxing. Our waitress Shianne( not sure thats spelled right) was very informative with a great personality. We decided on the the outdoor seating as it was a beautiful ad not so hot evening. While the street noise was a bit much, it didn't matter as the outside dining area is well situated. Not uppity at all, server was very friendly and outgoing, but not over the top. The dessert menu was really cool!- they use an iPad and run a video of the desserts and descriptions, it was really cool! If I had to find any thing that I would down grade, it was a tad louder than I would have liked. I dine in St. Augustine frequently, but have never been here - I'll definitely be going back. The food was very good, prepared to order and served hot. Drinks were good, nice wine selections as well. There was a bit of a wait for food, but nothing too bad - just a little longer than expected. My waiter had 4 tables sat at the exact same time and I'm sure he was having a hard time managing all at once. He still did a good job, was professional and helpful. The decor is a little dated, but the food is excellent and it was a great experience. We got a great table outdoors in one of the gazebos. The family really liked that.
Our waitress could have been more friendly. She wasn't a bad waitress. She did a good job with food and drinks. But this was Mothers Day. I expected a nice warm friendly hello and a happy M.D. to my wife but didn't get it.
The restaurant had a special menu. I kind of wish their regular menu was available but I understand. We all had different things and the food was done well.

That is until we ate at the Raintree Restaurant. My wife, adult daughter and I had the best meal. Everything from the wine list to the entrees and very good desserts were exceptional. If the weather conditions permitted, we would have eaten dinner outside. Such a charming place. The staff was friendly and courteous. We saw a window with a view. The staff was very accommodating, no problem changing tables. My husband had his first beef wellington and I baked tilapia. Since this was the first beef wellington...it will be the benchmark for more to come. We really enjoyed the food and ambiance of the restaurant. We even struck up a conversation with another couple visiting the area. We both ordered apps which were good {soup, mac and cheeze} but certainly not necessary given the size of the entres. The noise level was not bad considering it was pretty busy. Our server was friendly and efficient. The dining area was quite nice.
