Diner Reviews
  • "This is an excellent restaurant with live Irish music and dancing. I gave three stars only because you have to suffer through the shoulder to shoulder crowd at DD to get to the front door. Hour long ride back to hotel, yacht club, took an hour and a bite out of the experience. Disney needs HOV lanes for its busses. 45 minutes there and an hour back is too far for me so unlikely to head there again. But if I did, I'd eat at raglan road again. Had the chicken pate which was served in a jar with a compote on top. The bread is outstanding and is served with a Guinness tasting olive oil. Chicken pot pie was excellent. The entertainment is the topper. Some female Celtic voices would be nice to add to the mix. Well done Raglan Road, well done."

  • "I celebrated my birthday with friends ( about 10 people ). Great food, service and entertainment. I highly recommend a reservation at least one week in advance."

  • "We went with another couple as part of our Disney Vacation. A fun place, loud with music and dancing which was part of the atmosphere, good food, a wide range of selections. Service was excellent. We would definitely go back next time we are in Orlando."

  • "Food was good. Service was mediocre. Waiter insisted on remembering everything and then got lots wrong. Water not refilled, etc. Was fine but nothing special. With so many other fun options in Disney, I won't be back."

  • "Raglan Road continues to be one of my 'must dos' when visiting Disneyworld. We visit often and always include one meal at Raglan Road. The food is delicious, inventive and plentiful. Portions are NOT small. Of course, their bar has a wonderful selection of draft beers and cocktails. Don't miss it"

  • "The good was great. The music and dancers were excellent. I felt like I was back in Dublin. I will be back"

  • "Very cool building and bar area. The bread that comes with the meal is wonderful with the sauce for dipping! The Irish music and dancers were also very impressive. Along with that however, it is incredibly loud, so I would not recommend if you're looking for a place to have a conversation over dinner, at least not in the main dining room. The food was very pricy for what it was. There wasn't a lot of flavor to anything I tried. Next time I'll get my fish and chips from the quick service place outside (~$10 less for what appears to be the same food) and go inside for a drink and some music."

  • "In its infinite wisdom, Disney has torn up the entire parking lot at downtown Disney for construction. There was nothing about it on the restaurant's website. It took 25 minutes to find a parking place and when we did, it was on the far side of Cirque du Soleil, about a 15-minute walk to the restaurant. This did not put us in a good mood for the evening. The people we met ended up paying $20 to valet park, again all the way at the other end of downtown Disney. The restaurant could have easily noted the construction on their website. (They DID hold our reservation, which we were afraid of losing.) Having said that, the food here is always good. Pricey for what you get, but there's live entertainment, so it's worth it."

  • "HI If you are looking for a lively place with good food near Disney this is it? Great selections of Irish foods that are well prepared. Also there is Irish dancing which is loads of fun. Make a reservation. This place is packed."

  • "It's not just a restaurant. It's a great experience every time! I love to take out of towers to Ragland Road because they've never been anywhere like it"

  • "We came here for dinner while staying at Disney. We also eat Gluten free. Raglan Road's menu offers many dinner entrees that accommodate your dietary needs.. My wife had the Pork Chop and I had the Cod. Both dinners were delicious. The Irish dancers that performed were an unexpected surprise and added to a wonderful experience."

  • "After reading reviews, I was really hoping to love the Raglan Road but I didn't. The flavor of the food was just ok...nothing special and portions were small for the price. Fish and chips had only one piece of fish and zero taste for $19. Ham and mashed potatoes were only slightly warm (though served on a very hot plate) $24. My husband ordered the Bangers and Booze and said it was "ok" but nothing he would order again. Even though we had reservations, we were seated in a corner by the door leading out to the patio seating and could not see any of the entertainment. Our bill was over $100 for a family of four (and one was a kid's meal) and we did not feel it was worth the money. Positives: delicious soda bread/dip and good service."

  • "We had a gift certificate to Raglan Road so we tried it out, and had a great time! Reservations are a MUST, even outside of typical mealtimes. You can do a walk-in but you might wait 90-120 minutes! The service was great with Kathy, our waitress, who was attentive, personable, and offered great suggestions. I tried the pork with applesauce and mashed potatoes - tasty. I almost defaulted to the chocolate dessert (my usual plan in any new restaurant), but decided to go out on a limb with the bread pudding that they're famous for, based on Kathy's rave reviews. GLAD I DID, because it's amazing! Usually I'm not a fan of any bread pudding but this was heaven served in a mug. Entertainment was fun - live music and Irish step dancing!"

  • "This place is awesome! Our server, Erin, was top notch. The Guinness was fresh and just kept coming. I had the Bangers &Booze it was delicious and my wife had some kind of chicken which was also very good. For a closer the bread and butter pudding is one of the best desserts we have ever enjoyed. This place rocked, live Irish band and dancers. Best place on our trip."

  • "My husband and I have dined at Raglan Road quite a few times. The waitstaff ( more often than not ,Erin) is always friendly, smiling, and helpful. Wea always feel like they are glad to see us again. Our friends wanted to come to Raglan Road so that they could see and experience for themselves the "great place" we drive 60 miles to when we want fresh fish from Foley's in Boston, It has never disappointed. We live in DeLand Fl now but we are from New Bedford, MA 60 miles south of Boston. Keep doing what you are doing. We always enjoy. See you again soon. Carol and Joe Bolton"

  • "As a person with celiac disease, Raglan Road was such a great find for gluten-free options! GF fish & chips, onion rings, shepherd's pie... all fantastic! So nice to be able to have these GF friendly options -- definitely a treat! As fellow celiacs or food allergy sufferers know, the following is so important and reassuring to experience: the servers there ask first and foremost if anyone has any food allergies before they take your order, and then walked me through the menu of options that are suitable for me. The servers I've had here are EXTREMELY knowledgable in the ins-and-outs of gluten-free dining. The atmosphere is fun and I can bring my non-celiac husband and friends here for great, gluten-containing, food for them too!"

  • "We took our grandchildren for dinner and enjoyed the fabulous music, food and Irish dancing. The dancers brought the children up, taught them a few steps and gave them a certificate. The food was so good and our waitress so accommodating and cheerful. We highly recommend the Raglan Road to all families. We look forward to our next visit. Rita McGuinness"

  • "Raglan Road is a fantastic place for everyone! The food, atmosphere, service and entertainment were wonderful! I was also impressed by how clean and well-kept the place was. I highly recommend the risotto and the portobello burger to anyone and everyone, especially vegetarians. For dessert, we ordered the bread pudding and it was absolutely delicious! Great job and thank you, Raglan staff for making my birthday special! :-)"

  • "My husband and I went here for one of our meals while on vacation. We arrived 2 hours prior to our reservation (hoping to get in early). We were told we could be seated early, however ended up waiting almost an hour. So if you make a reservation, stick to it because this place is a hot spot. We had the wings for an appetizer which were very flavorful. We both had Bangers and Mash for our meal, substituting the horseradish mashed potatoes for the regular ones (good move). The food was excellent, however we both wish we had gotten the beef stew (which is poured over the bangers and mash) because it was out of this world!. Fantastic service from our waitress and they gave us dessert for our anniversary free :)"

  • "We enjoyed everything about Raglan Road. The bangers and mash was delicious. My picky eater toddler loved her Dalkey Duo ( battered cocktail sausage with mustard dipping sauce). The bread pudding is outstanding! Loved the entertainment and opportunity for kids to join dancers on stage. We will definitely visit Raglan Road on our next trip to Florida!"

  • "We arrived 20 minutes early and it took 40 minutes to park. When making a reservation you should warn people that major construction is taking place in the area. You may have to park and walk 15 minutes to the resturant. Once in the the place the night was great, we will try the brunch soon to see if the crowds and parking is any better."

  • "The good: everything from the food, décor, entertainment and staff. The bad, we didn't have enough time to visit one more time before heading home."

  • "The food was very good at this Irish Pub. The music and dancing were entertaining. [My only complaint is that they did not receive my Open Table reservation; however, they were still able to accommodate us at a time about an hour later.]"

  • "Had an amazing experience here. Food was fantastic and the live music and dancers were great. The heirloom tomato salad appetizer was delicious, fish and chips were cooked perfectly, and the bread pudding dessert was heavenly. Our evening here was fantastic. The live music was outstanding. Our toddler even had a great time and one of the dancers, Emma, made a point to come to our table and talk to our son. We weren't celebrating anything, but the food, service, and extra attention received made the night special. We will return on our next trip to Orlando."

  • "Stop in have fun, food and a pint. This is a well run establishment. Everyone from the top down knew what they were doing. If you are looking for a quiet evening this us not the place. It is the place to go if you want to have a lively energetic time. The music and Irish dancers were some much fun. The food was "Oh Yeah!" If you get an appetizer we recommend the Smokie City."
    Dined on 3/27/2014
  • "Always a must stop when visiting Downtown Disney. Bartenders are the best and the practically non-stop entertainment makes for a great time for everyone."
    Dined on 3/26/2014
  • "It doesn't get any better than this, unless you take a trip across the Atlantic and visit Ireland. The latest addition to the menu is the 'boxty' - potato cakes with the most delicious ham and Dubliner Cheese topped with a fried egg. The shepard's pie at Raglan Road is one of the best around. We make sure we visit Raglan Road on EVERY trip to Disney (which is about once a month)."
    Dined on 3/24/2014
  • "We were disappointed in our seating; we were placed at the farthest end of the restaurant where you could barely see the entertainment. I was facing the wrong way; looking outside at a sidewalk. The appetizers were delicious but the main courses were average at best."
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "Great food and fun entertainment, but not a relaxing atmosphere; the music was very loud and boisterous. I'm used to the craziness of celtic music festivals so it didn't bother me that much. But don't expect to be able to hear what the rest of your party is saying. :)"

  • "Had a starter several weeks ago a smoked fish dip which was excellent . Please keep in mind all diners except myself are from England so familiar with food. 1] Mixed grill..sirloin steak so tough you could not cut it on plate. 2] Caesar salad was a joke with a palm size piece of chicken thrown on. No parmesan cheese crumbled lettuce thrown on plate for 12 plus 7 3] Cod plate was the smallest piece for 17 and same with salmon . The manager did say they have to keep up with disney prices..... I am sorry but the PUB at Pointe Orlando serves British food excellent and so do most of the chain restaurants around. We are locals except for friends visitng and I think they can place food in a tourist spot and just write it off."

  • "We've eaten here several times over the past few years during Disney visits. Service and ambiance are great as well as beer selection and variety of food choices. Some dishes are hit and miss but compared to a majority of the "hamburger, hot dog & french fry" food factories, this place is an oasis in a sea of fast food. Will continue to patronize Raglan Road even if it's just for a properly poured pint of Guiness."
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "Our server was great! He was honest about a few of our choices which we appreciate. I am a lover of food, I appreciate a good quantity as well as quality. I felt that for the price, the portions should have been a little larger, even though you are paying the extra for the "Disney" restaurant, I did feel that the quality was not SO exceptional that they could skimp on the portion size. All in all it was good food, not exceptional though and pricey. I got the Braised Beef, wife got Shepherd's Pie. Neither knocked our socks off. Atmosphere was loud but expected in an Irish Pub so it was just fine, not a quaint romantic spot by far, but it was fun with the live music and dancers."

  • "We go every year on our anniversary and this year was another successful event. Can be a little pricey, but definitely reasonable, for two (appetizer/food/bottle of wine/dessert + tip runs about 150), as the live entertainment is part of the whole fantastic package. They sat us immediately and at a great location. We highly recommend."
