The food at Rafina was incredible - some of the best classic Greek dishes that I've had in the city. They did not rush us at all so my date and I were able to enjoy a lovely evening together. Smoked eggplant appetizer was amazing! Definitely going back very soon.

The food was outstanding- very authentic. Fish was cooked perfectly, very tasty. Appetizers were also very good. Definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was also excellent. Our waiter gave great recommendations and even offered us a small complimentary serving I baklava when we passed on dessert.

We live in the neighborhood and wanted to love it, but unfortunately, our dishes all came out sub par. There was too much vinegar in the salad and it was swimming in the tart dressing. The spinach and moussaka came out cold and uninspired. We expected a casserole dish with warm, melt in your mouth layers - this was like a cold flat eggplant lasagna cut out of a tray. Dessert was nice as was the complimentary baklava. The owner and waiters were friendly but almost too stand offish - they never looked over when we tried to get their attention!

We had grape leaves, greek salad, the spread plate and a couple of other appetizers. Nothing really stood out as delicious. In the future, I think I'll just make the trip to Queens for Greek. Apparently it has a very lively night crowd, that arrives around 11pm, but we didn't wait to see.

Rafina has amazing greek cuisine. We were a group of 4 people and loved it! Service was awesome and we were waited on by several waiters and Dennis (the owner) came out several times to check that everything was good at our table (an he even provided us with complimentary Bakhlava deserts).
