After being away for a few weeks, the first place I wanted to go was Race Lane for dinner. It was fantastic. There were new items on the menu and old favorites. Service was top notch and the drinks were great. Shaved asparagus salad was particularly wonderful.

We had such a great time. Food simply delicious. Different from the stale " go to" restaurants out in the Hamptons and although this is the 4th time I've been here in the last 3 months, I can still try something new and super delicious from the menu or daily specials. By the way, the strip steak that my wife ordered was one of the best I've tried in a long time.

LOVED IT. Food simply delicious....we were made to feel welcome and appreciated.
You must try the Tuna Taboule and the strip steak - juicy and succulent - rivals any steak house. The dining room is beautiful....we noticed people having dinner at the fireplace - which means we need to get back there before the weather warms up.

Our service and dinner were wonderful. Only thing they should reconsider - the two large screen tv's that blast visuals of sports at you from the bar. Very distracting.
For such a special restaurant I'd think they should drop the tv's or put hampton visuals or local art, or local videos on the screens instead of news/sports.

This has always been one of our favourite eateries in the Hamptons. It is such a lovely space, with a wonderful fireplace in winter. The new chef is fantastic. We went for restaurant week $24.95 meal. There were many choices (sometimes those special menus are very limited) and everything we chose was delicious.
