The fourth was just okay, but that could be due to the type of dish rather than quality. Fresh pasta and other ingredients. They take reservations and you can pay with a credit card. It blew away my expectations. Every plate was delicious, the wine list was wonderful, and the service was exceptional. Bustling and lively, but never ever rushed - even on a Friday or Saturday night during prime tourist season. Some North End places want you in and out, so the tables can be turned over frequently. Never at Rabia's. Great food, variety, from simple things like linguini with clams, but also more fanciful dishes like Vermont red apple ravioli with figs. Same can be said about the wine list. The service was excellent, very attentive, and we did not wait long for any of our courses. The food was great - the reason I chose Rabia's was the combo Italian dishes along with the raw bar and seafood offerings, and we were not disappointed. Great night and I thought reasonably priced. I always go with a mixed crowd and I never get any of the attitude I get at other North End restaurants. The staff is friendly, we're seated right away, and the waiter or waitress is very helpful with the menu. This visit was with friends from Washington state. One told the waitress what he'd like, lobster out of the shell, however she recommended. She brought him a perfect dish. We all had lobster in some form, and it was great.
