They do not honor Open Table reservations . Had anniversary dinner cancelled 5 hrs before my confirmed reservation that was made 3 was in advance.

This is a very expensive restaurant but worthy of the price tag. The menu is Price Fixe, offering 4 selections within each of the 3 courses offered. A Chef's tasting is also offered at a much higher price point and requires that everyone at the table select that option in order to coordinate service of the seven or so small courses. The service was excellent and their personalized touch for the occasion we were celebrating (birthdays) was well appreciated. The menu was creative, the dishes very well presented and the flavors well balanced and satisfying. On the downside, several courses were not hot enough and, for example in the case of the pork tenderloin, detracted from the flavors and enjoyment of the dish. Also, a few diners selected the wine pairings and unfortunately the wine came to the table well before its associated course. This meant, in the case of the whites, that the wine was not at the correct temperature by the time the course was presented, and in the case of the reds, the wine was almost gone by the time the course came. These may seem like small issues, but when you are paying over $100 a head for an elegant gourmet dinner, you expect perfection.

Fantastic new addition to the Chautauqua scene. Best food around for sure. Gorgeous prix fixe with wine pairings, reasonable price and great service. We will be back!

Excellent meal, second time there. Had the three course tasting menu. They have been consistent. Our server Tom did a fantastic job. Specialty cocktails rock!!

White Carrot is a new addition to the Chautauqua area. It delivers fine dining with a farm to table approach in an area where it is unique. Six of us had the three course fix price dinner. The meal began with a blueberry salsa and chip amuse bouche The first courses we consumed included an oyster stew and pate. The stew was incredible. Second courses included crayfish and ravioli. Entrees were searrd halibut, seared scallops and roasted chicken. We found the wine list to be thoughtful and different. We finished with a couple of desserts and coffee. The espresso machine was being installed so should now be available We hope it is able to be successful and there when we return next year. Don't know if the region can support a restaurant, however wonderful, at this price point

In a week long visit to Chautauqua County, this was the only restaurant that we felt matched the upscale but still farm to table sites available now in large urban areas. The food was superb and the accouterments equal to it. It was not cheap, nor should it have been.

The food is delicious! But the portions are too small. We all left hungry despite doing a full 3 course meal.

After double confirming our reservation, the day before our actual reservation we were told that they can no longer accept our reservation because they were full. Very disappointed! I had people in from out of town that were were taking out for a special evening.

Excellent food but small potions. Arrived 5 minutes before reservation time after driving 50 minutes and were told we were early so waitress might be a while. Didn't have makings for a common cocktail. Wine and dinner overall quite pricey.
