    Overall, food, service and ambience was excellent. What I found inflexible about the management of the seating was that we selected indoor dining on our reservation. When we arrived, we changed our mind and requested outdoor seating. Because we had chosen indoor seating online at the time of our reservation, after they lead us to an outdoor table in a nice location, they immediately stated we couldn’t have that table because we hadn’t chosen outdoor as our choice in our original reservation. We were seated at an alternative table. The reason given didn’t make sense . It was because we hadn’t chosen outdoor seating originally.

    Great meal in a beautiful setting. I had the bone-in schnitzel and it was generous in size and perfectly executed. So glad we found this spot.

    I've been coming here for years and it's always been one of my favorite and consistent restaurants in Sonoma. Wonderful ambiance, and a great value for the wine country. The food is fantastic.

    Delicious We brought our foodie friends and they are so pleasantly surprised how great everything was! We sat in the outside patio, love the small fans. The apps were just so-so, fried cheese and peaches. The entrees were terrific, the flounder and whipped mash potatoes were a huge hit, melt in your mouth. The quiche was best ever, tall, whipped, light and so good. The roast beef sandwich and fresh bread were a hit too. And we took a box of chocolate chip cookies for the road….. after a little wine tasting, the cookies were a perfect finale to a wonderful day

    Food and service were great as always. I’ll keep coming and bringing my friends to the girl & the fig but next time I’ll be more choosy about where I agree to be seated. It was a really sunny day and I was burning, at some point I put a napkin on my back and shoulders that’s how uncomfortable I was. Wish staff noticed and helped reposition one of the umbrellas.
