   The view is beautiful. The hostess was very warm & inviting. That's pretty much the last "feel good" moment we had. The seating out side was ok. Hard, cold metal chairs, no cushions. The server was horrible, she made it clear that she didn't want to be there. I made these reservations weeks in advance and we were excited to go. Not worth the hype or the $$.

   Our waitress seemed a little unsure of the menu and failed to tell us about the special which I only heard when another waitress was telling the table next to us. I actually wanted to order the special and had to ask the other waitress about it. They did change my meal and it was actually delicious. Other than the poor communication our overall experience was very good.

   A gem on the Northshore. Beautilful porch looking over the ocean, socail distance seating, great service and food. Limited menu but great place for a drink, sandwich, chowder.

   Very good experience during an challenging time. The waiter and food was excellent! Highly recommend the restaurant especially if you are staying at the hotel.

   The view is beautiful but unfortunately the service at this restaurant was very poor. We made a reservation for 8pm and arrived before then as we were staying at the attached Emerson Inn. However, the waitress did not want to be there or wanted to get away early that night, so the whole dinner was very rushed; not a nice atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. The food was served in paper plates and the cheque was given to us before we had even finished our meal, never mind ordered dessert. We were back in our room by 9pm thoroughly unsatisfied. Skip this restaurant and head to Feather and Wedge in Rockport for better food and ambience.

   They served comfort food in baskets, which was great, but somewhat of a pity considering it was my first visit and I may not be back for years. The patio seating, the service, and the lovely setting made up for any disappointment I experienced (due to the current restrictions).

    This place is not very good. Service was good, our waiter was nice and very polite. Food was good but not very good, I ordered Cheese board that had nothing to do with a real and delicious cheeseboard. It was served with a small aluminum plate, really crazy. We understand things have changed from Covid but a lot of people are spending money not for business to survive but for their pleasure. I will not be going there again and I will recommend other not going either.
