Wine is the only thing that was not good. We had to send it back. It had been open for probably days but they didn't hesitate to open fresh bottles for us. Food was very tasty and they can modulate the spiciness which is great.

Have eaten at several lao’s in the Chicago area and expected the same great food in Champaign. I was more than dissatisfied. The difference in the food quality was night and day. The beef and broccoli came out so brothy it may as well been soup. The server forgot to enter one of our entrees and when it came out, although presented nice, it was just like some Panda Express entree.

Made a reservation for 1:30pm. Our table was given away to a party with less people and our overall wait was over an hour. We ordered appetizers and drinks, had to keep reminding them to bring drinks. Beers were warm. 1/2 the dinner arrived before any appetizers. Had to ask them to take the 1/2 of dinner back and bring the appetizers first. THen had to go get our own silverware and find someone to bring us water. Finally got the appetizers and then dinner came with 5 of our orders only. Two other orders came 15 minutes later. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!!! Will not go here again unless it is my last resort.

Great addition to the Champaign Urbana area with an extensive menu and authentic flavors. Looking forward to trying many other items on the menu in our next visits.

Some of the food was very spicy. The lemon shrimp was excellent. The lamb dish was good but spicy although it was not labeled with peppers as a hot dish. The standard (not extra hot) Hot and sour soup was the spiciest I have had. Good if you enjoy that level of spice.

We arrived and were seated in a corner with big cardboard boxed of supplies right behind us (eyesore). For 25 minutes no one came with water, menus or to ask us if we wanted something to drink. Finally I had to go get someone’s attention. The dishes when they were delivered were adequate but uninspired. We ordered tofu with vegetables which was quite bland. The eggplant was oily but quite tasteful. Overall I was disappointed with the experience.
