Our server, Victor, was outstanding. There is plenty of healthy food on the menu if you would like to eat healthily. We had salads and they were very fresh, made as ordered, and the waiter and cook were willing to make change on request. The salmon was also very good and cooked perfectly. Recommend these items highly. There is also lots of unhealthy food on the menu. That didn't look nearly as good. The one unhealthy item we ordered, the beignets, were probably a "C+" to "B". They were cooked properly but the chocolate sauce was an abomination. Cheap chocolate and not much flavor. I suggest that the restaurant look up Irma Bombeck's recipe for hot fudge sauce in "The Joy of Cooking" with only five ingredients and use that instead (need to use reasonably high-quality dark chocolate such as Schaffenberger, though). Far superior. The raspberry sauce was fine. It's nice sitting outside on the curb. Inside is very active and pretty noisy but has good energy.

Our business lunch was a 10 out of 10 from the seating to the service to the food. Sierra made a great recommendation for me to try the farmers salad with the wood plank salmon - it was outstanding. Kudos to the chef as well and the entire FF team who made this a great business lunch experience.

Thank you for your kind words, Kathleen! We're thrilled to hear your business lunch was a 10/10. Sierra will be delighted to know her recommendation hit the mark. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! -Tiffany

This was a business lunch. I had the egg salad sandwich. It was plain (no lettuce or tomato), but it was good. The restaurant was very busy, and our server was VERY busy. She did a great job taking care of us while tending many other tables. I like Founding Farmers because of the variety of the dishes and their overall consistent good quality.

Excellent waitress. Very good food. Set outdoors, which was a mistake. Very windy and cold until the sun came out. We will definitely return in the future.

Don’t order pasta! It may be made in house but the cook cant hit the al dente point to save their life. Seems overcooking also applies to beef because my son’s steak frites ordered medium came out a crispy well done. Burgers and sandwiches were great and service very attentive.

Thank you for your feedback, Veronica. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the burgers, sandwiches, and attentive service. We're sorry the pasta and steak didn't meet expectations — we’ll pass this along to the kitchen team to help us improve. We hope to welcome you back soon for a better experience. -Kiara

Hits and misses. Shaved prime rib sandwich au jus had exceptionally small amount of thick cut (absolutely not ‘shaved’) unseasoned meat with raw onions and a ‘jus’ that seemed to be made from weak bullion thickened with corn starch - a tasteless gloppy mess. Calling it jus is a joke. Served severely undercooked mushy fries on one plate and cold fish and chips on another. Price to quality ratio is poor. 5 out of 10 in my party were satisfied.

Founding Farmers is outstanding! Took an old friend and his family visiting from out of town and we were all completely satisfied!!!! The service was attentive, the food and drinks were delicious and we were sat almost immediately ( we had a reservation). The noise level can make it a little challenging to hear conversations, but we made it work. Would def recommend to anyone!!!
