Great BBQ place. My Brisket was tender and fall-apart cooked. The burger was perfect and very tasty. Would highly recommend

Great BBQ for the downtown area. And of course the coconut cream pie is still fantastic.

The ribs were undercooked. The baked beans were dry and hard. The potato salad and coleslaw were uninspired. The salmon was overcooked.

Service is order at the bar. Rude staff. We left without eating. Told us the only gluten free option was wedge salad with no cornbread pudding. Love Tom Douglas but this was very disappointing. Nothing like the old Etta’s.

The ribs were so tough they were almost jerky-like. The special burger was decent and the mac & cheese earned a full star on its own.

Omg so insanely delicious!!! We were a huge party and there was something for everyone—even the vegans!—and we were all dying over how good it all was. Loved their mixed drinks on tap and loved the ribs, especially. Such a nice, fun vibe, too.

Disappointed with such few BBQ items. Only 2 BBQ items. Not what I was expecting. Beer & cocktail choices were good. Would not pick this place again for dinner. This is more of a lunch or HH stop.

I love Tom Douglas, and wanted to love this place. I hope they can make some food improvements. Sandwiches were good, salmon entree very nice, the wedge salad, honestly drowning in fried onions, almost inedible. The nachos on happy hour were basically chips and a few pieces of over done brisket. Like perhaps they had run out of the other ingredients?? We probably would have just as soon passed on them. Pretzels, sadly were over baked or maybe had been in a warming oven too long? the cheese dip to go along was in solid form, no dipping possible. I know they have recently opened, so hope they can fine tune the kitchen and if so, Big Mountain will be a nice addition to the Pike Market restaurant scene.
