Located in the heart of historic Schenectady and a brief walk away from Proctor's Theatre. Daley's On Yates offers refined comfort food in an inviting, yet unexpected urban space.
Dress Code at Yates is smart casual. While jeans and shorts are acceptable, tank tops, ripped clothing and similarly ultra casual clothing is not permitted.
A former taxi garage, the space has been transformed into a fresh new concept restaurant and bar. Exposed rafters and I-beams give way to mid-century modern dining furniture, fixtures and design elements. Nestled between two elm trees, guests can get cozy on large sectional sofas conveniently positioned around four gas fire pits. A covered, full service outdoor bar offers specialty cocktails along with a diverse wine list and a respectable selection of beers. Daley's On Yates was designed with our guests in mind; we want you to come in, get comfortable and enjoy a unique hospitality experience.

Amazing food, wait staff was prompt and cheerful. She even offered champagne on the house for our anniversary! New favorite date night for sure.

The location was excellent. Plenty of parking, comfortable atmosphere (though I wouldn’t say romantic). The service was outstanding from the minute you walked in, where you were greeted with a friendly welcome and were promptly seated on time to the meal service. The staff was warm and attentive without being overbearing in any way. The chef also didn’t disappoint. Our meals left our palettes happy and satisfied and we would definitely return.

Absolutely terrific restaurant I am so glad that we found it I did not even know that it was there such a small side street. I can't wait to go back when this pandemic is over and they reopen
